I noticed a girl with bright fluffy cotton pink hair. A simple beauty but captivating. She had a cute nose stud-piercing on the same side as me. She caught my attention real quick when she walked past me in the hallway. Her scent blew past me in a light breeze as she walked, she smelled like rose petals. It smelled as fresh and beautiful as a new spring day. If I could, I would hold her to me for hours and just get drunk in her aroma. I don't even know her name but I already feel as if I could somehow spend an eternity with her as crazy as that could possibly sound it's true.

I need lady advice… where's Fang? She's a lady. She must know all about a lady brain. She'll help me. So, I quickly rush to Oli's dorm, she's attached at the hip with that guy, she'll be there and of course I was right. I quickly knock then walk in, "Fang! I need lady help!"

She hopped out of Oli's arms and bed with both fists on her hips she stood in a very stereotypical superhero pose and spoke in a deep voice, "Tell me what's wrong, citizen."

"I have a crush on a lady and I want to know how to get to know her. I don't know her name but she's so beautiful," I floated into la-la land for a few moments as I thought about her face which I was brought out of when Fang smacked me upside the head and yelled at me to focus. "Okay okay, I'm listening!"

"Okay, so I'm going to help you one: find out her name and two: get her number. Now describe her for me so I can find her," Fang says.

"Pink puffy hair, cute pale face with a little nose stud. 'Bout yay big," I answer.

"Her name's Eden!" Fang exclaims, "I know her! She's super adorable, she's in my third period, and she has the cutest little snort that'll make your heart melt."

"I need to meet her!" I shout, getting extremely excited about the idea of meeting her. Fang quickly grabbed my hand and rushed us to the library entrance. "Is she in there?"

Fang nods, "Yep. She's in the comic book section like always. No pick up lines. She punched a guy in the nuts for using one today."

i nodded then walked inside the library and to the edge of the comic section. I saw Eden sitting in the corner, nose deep in a batman comic, being even cuter than I imagined. I take a deep breath in then smacked my cheeks for a boost of painful confidence. I walk as calmly as I can to her, when I stop in front of her she looks up from her comic book and up to me, her eyes deliciously dark and humble. She notices my nervous smile and giggled. Her smile was bright and milky white. She was even more beautiful in a closer proximity.

"H-hi," I whisper giving an awkward wave, "Mind if I sit?"

"Hi," she smiled then patted the spot on the next to her, "Sit sit." I do as told, she giggles at my legs when they have to bend to fit in the space between the book case and the wall. "You're mighty tall, mister…" her southern accented voice drifts off for she doesn't my name.

"I-I'm Austin. Austing carlile," I say tipping an imaginary hat to her.

"I'm Eden Abbot," he hold out a hand to me.

I take a hold of it and kiss the back of her hand, "It's a pleasure, Ms. Abbot."

"You sure are a charmer," She giggles as she takes back her hand, "And pretty cute too."

I blushed but kept my speech straight. "You're quite cute yourself. May I treat you to a Starbucks coffee? My treat." I stand and hold out my hand to her.

"Why yes you may," Eden grabs hold of my hand and stands up as well. "Let's go Mr. Carlile."

we walk to the school cafeteria that has a 24 hour Starbucks, this school is basically a college. After we order and recieve our coffee, Eden takes my hand and squeezes it tight as she pulls me to an empty corridor that by my knowledge was cut off from everyone. I notice the walls are covered by paint stained sheets then question why they're like that.

"The school hired me during the summer to paint a mural," she replies, "And I want you to be the first person to see it completed. Would you like that?"

I nod, "I love paintings. Show me."

She grins and pulls down the sheets to reveal her masterpiece. It was a spring symphony. Filled with flowers. Loaded with sunshine. Chocked full of life. The entire piece screamed spring time is here. "It's amazing," I say still in complete awe. "How did you learn to paint so well?"

"Took college level art programs in middle school cause my mom wanted me to be an artist and by God im a fucking artist."

"You're the best artist I've ever seen. I can't do much of anything. I'm not really talented," I sigh.

"I'll teach you how to paint, I'll teach you the guitar, the piano, the drums. I'll teach you how to sing. Whatever you want. No one deserves to feel like they're no good at anything," Eden says wrapping her arms around me and squeezing me tight. "You're amazing at something Austin. I know it."

"How about I be amazing at taking you to your dorm room before a security guard catches us here and gets us in trouble," I laugh then walk her down to her room. It was a stereotypical after date scene. The lights were dim, a light coming from the other side of the window of someone expecting Eden back inside by now. I stood with her outside of her door. "I had fun with you this last hour. I loved seeing your artwork. maybe we can go on a dinner date sometime? I can totally pay again."

Eden rolled her eyes and giggled, "How about I make us a lunch and we go eat in the garden out back as a picnic?" I agree to that and smile. "I'll see you tomorrow at lunch, Austin," she kisses my cheek then gets insider he room.

Best. Hour. Ever.
