I woke up to the sound of brakes screeching and a man yelling,
“We are at your first town of warped tour!” The bus driver yells. I move feeling a weight on me. I crack open my eyes to look across from me to see Jinxx sitting on the couch staring at me. I smile for a second. Wait!..... who the fuck is on me.
“All I ever did was love you and you threw it away” I heard Andy mumble in my ears. He was clearly still asleep but those words hurt.
“But no... Zane was always better then me” he continued to mumble before snoring again. I chuckled for a second.
“You were always better then him...” I say. before pinching the back of Andy’s neck to make in him release me and rolling over.

“You still love him, don’t you?” Jinxx whispered before taking a sip of his beer. I look at him in disbelief.
“No... he just did treat me better then Zane”
“Then why didn’t you pick Andy?” Jinxx says standing up towering over me. Andy’s snoring had stopped but I felt like he would still be asleep.
“I was a nobody at that school, I felt worthless, no one treated me right accept for Andy who was the biggest outcast of them all, but he didn’t care, he didn’t need to” I say tears welling in my eyes. Jinxx leant down to touch me but I flinch away.
“I need some air” I managed to chock out before leaving the bus, tears welling town my face.
I run until I find a place to cry. I find a beautiful oak tree. I sit underneath the tree, pulling my legs close to my chest and crying into my knees. I never liked being the outcast, I never liked being the freak who was always with Andy and was “dating” him as well. Who said being an outcast was easy.

I cry until it began to become dark and cold. I shiver while I sob into my knees, feeling the chilling breeze on my skin.
“Shit” I hear someone yell before running towards me, the voice was familiar but not in a ‘I have met them’ way...
I feel a pair of hands rope around my shoulders, trying to calm me down.
“Just breathe, it’s only chemicals” I hear him say into my ear. “Here” I hear him say as he removes his hands from me and takes his jacket off and puts it around my shoulders. I manage to calm down my sobbing and lean into the man.
“Thank you...” I say closing my eyes.
“It’s okay beautiful... How long have you been out here?” he asks looking down at me.
“Since the bus pulled up... a friend brought up my past” I say
“Fuck! that’s like 6 hours!” I shrug, leaning into the man forgetting I don’t know this man... I snap my eyes open and slightly move away from him
“Shit! i’m sorry... uhh....um... i’m Dillon” I say placing my hand out for him to shake.
“Alex” the man says with a grin shaking my hand. “Now... I know what will fix your pain.. I think you need alcohol in your system right now!” He says jumping up from where we sat.
“Thank you but I don’t drink..” I say carefully, trying to not hurt the guys feelings.
“Well then... how about you meet my band then we go for a walk and we can just talk?” he says I smile widely and nod.
“Okay sounds good” I attempted to stand up and as I fully stood up I realized who I was just crying on.
“Alex Gaskarth... Sorry, oh god! i’m a fan of your band actually” I chuckle scraching the neck of my neck. I wipe away my tears with my index finger. “I’m so embarrassed you had to see me like that” I say trying to cover up my face.
He frowned a little before walking up to me and hugging me. His warm embrace fills me with hope and warmth.
“Never feel embarrassed to cry in front of anyone..” he simply whispered into my ear giving me a quick squeeze before he broke our hug. He grabbed my hand and ushered me to follow him, I walked with him but he never let go of my hand.
“Now for the hard part...meeting the band” He smiled. I chuckle a little, I’m a fan, I know what these guys are like. I’ll win them all over.
We walked to the bus in total silence with our fingers intwined, I don’t know why they were intwined but it felt nice. Once we get to the bus door he stands and waits a moment looking at me.
“You ready?” I gently smile and nod.
“Wait a sec” he looks at me before adjusting my clothes and what seemed to be him fixing up my hair, taking once last look at me.
“Perfect” he says with a wink. He turned back to the door before opening it.
“Guys! we’ve got company!” Alex yells into the bus.
“Is it a girl?” I hear someone yell back.
“Yes Jack!”
“Come on in!” I hear Jack yell before Alex gestured me to enter first and I did so.

“Hello gorgeous!” Jack says walking up the bus with his shirt off. “I’m Jack”
“I’m Dillon” I say as Jack gives me a hug which I accept. In the background I see a muscly man in the background with his shirt off.
“I’m Zack” he says waving at me from the back of the bus.
“And Rian.... he is most likely drinking at the party” Alex says as I break the hug.
“Yeah! there is a beginning of warped tour party!” Jack screams running to the back making Alex chuckle.
“Sorry they are always like this” he whispers into my ear. I smile up at him and shrug.
“Better then my bus” I say causing him to smile.
“So Dillon, what brings you to this bus” Zack says before looking me in the eyes. I knew as soon as he looked me in the eyes I was done for, my eyes were still red and puffy from crying so much. His face softens and he embraces me in a hug.
“Whatever it is know that I am here for you” He whispered. I smile at him before moving away from him.
“Okay guys! Dillon and I are going to go for a walk, i’ll catch you guys later”
“Pop by the party whenever your ready” Zack says to me with a gentle smile. I smile back at him before Alex reached for my hand.
“Come on Dil” he said gently, not trying to rush me. These guys are more understanding, they don’t even know me and they care... they care so much about me, I finally feel loved. Jinxx made me feel loved but this was different. They acted when they notice something was wrong, Jinxx always avoided asking what is wrong.

“So... wanna tell me what is wrong?” Alex says putting his available hand in his pocket while the other one was still holding mine.

“It’s just Jinxx-”
“Jinxx... from Black Veil Brides?”
“Yes..” I say looking towards the ground.
“Wait a sec... are you THE Dillon? The one that went missing years ago?” I nod
“I wasn’t missing, I was hiding...only Jinxx knew..” I say still looking at the ground. The music from the party was loud enough for us to hear it from the other side of the buses.
“Well.. I don’t want to intrude by asking so lets talk about something else..” Alex says trying to change the subject. I’m glad he did, I didn’t want to talk about it, I never want to talk about it again.
“Okay... Let’s have a questionnaire!” I say
“A what?” he chuckled looking down at me with a big goofy smile.
“I ask question about you and you answer..” I say smiling at him.
“Okay what is your middle name?” he asked swaying our hands that were intwined.
“Rose” I simply say. I say pointing to the rose tattoo onto his hand.
“It’s like it was meant to be” he says with a smile which I return, maybe it was....
“Okay Alex what’s your middle name?”
“William” he says proudly, his smile beaming at me. Such a good middle name.
“Thanks” he says, must have said it aloud.
“Okay Dil, what do you do for a living?” I chuckle before answering.
“I’m a photographer for Kerang! magazine” I state.
“Awesome, well you know what I do” he says with a wink.

“Dillon!” I hear a familiar voice yell, I tense quickly, I think Alex noticed because he put his hand around my shoulder and turned around.
“What do you want Andy” he says sternly
“I was talking to Dillon not you!” Andy spat. I knew Andy was territorial so this would not go down well.

“What do you want Andy” I say in the same tone as Alex.
“You left the bus, Jinxx said you were upset, i’ve been looking all over for you..” Andy says looking worried.
“Dude.. she was gone for 6 fucking hours, it doesn’t take that long to find her” Alex says as his arm tightens around me.
“Alex found me” I state to Andy who lowers his head in shame. I don’t want to fucking deal with him right now.
“I’ll just go, but we need to talk later Dil, okay?” I nod before turning to walk the other way.
“But you...” Andy spat clearly directing it towards Alex.
“She is-”
“You’re engaged Andy” I state grabbing Alex and walking away.
“Go talk to your fiancé and not bother me” I say dragging Alex in the opposite direction to Andy.
I hear his growl before he starts to stomp away. Good.

“Okay...i’m feeling left out of the loop” Alex says taking ahold of my hand stopping me.
“I used to date Andy when we were in high school, well... fake date but then I went out with him for a day” I say making a confused face.
“That makes no sense” Alex states looking clueless.
“I can’t explain it any other way.” I say before I continue to walk.
“That explain his obsession over the missing girl, well you I guess” I nod.

Alex’s POV

It was so clear Andy was hung up on Dillon and it was clear she was the one who left, he wouldn’t have been able to do it, he is to obsessed, but he is engaged? To Juliet, that’s right.... Dil would have found out when she was hiding, it’s obvious they haven’t been around each other that long. I really like her. I take her hand and continue to walk with her.
“Do you wanna stay in my bus tonight?” I offer, I have a feeling she doesn’t want to be in her bus tonight, she slowly nods and smiles up at me. She had a beautiful smile.
“We don’t have any extra beds so you may have to sleep in my bed” I state forgetting we didn’t have a spare bed. She raised her eyebrow at me.
“Sure....” she said with a cute little chuckle in disbelief.
“Hey! I didn’t mean that way, you could sleep with any other member if you would like! it doesn’t have to be me!” I say defensively
“What about Jack?” She says with a cheeky smile.
“No... not Jack, unless you like getting groped in your sleep, it’s safer to sleep with me” I say with a wink following on with her joke.
“I mean i’ll give you the best sex of your lifetime” I say trying to act serious but I crack up laughing.
“I guess I better sleep with you then” She says with a wink that makes my knees feel weak.
I like this girl, there is something about her that makes me want to be with her forever, like she is the best friend I never met.

“So do you want to go to this party?” Dillon says looking up at me.
“Getting hammered is my specialty, come on!” I say putting my arm around her shoulder which she fit so perfectly in.
We walked to the party in a comfortable silence. Once we arrive we see Pierce The Veil playing Hold onto May. I feel Dillon swaying from underneath my arm.
“Come on lets dance then” I say moving her towards where everyone else was dancing, I see Zack in the distance who looks over and smiles at me before walking in my direction.
“Hey man!” I say towards him letting go of Dillon to give him a man-hug. Zack released me to hug Dillon.
“Hey! You made it!” he said looking a little tipsy.
“Let’s dance!” Dillon yells with a big smile causing me and Zack to grab a hand each and move her to the dance floor.

We dance for a good hour before I yell.
“I need a drink!” towards Dillon and Zack, they both nod and just as I leave to go get a drink a slow song comes on, why do they have slow music at a party?
I turn around to see Zack and Dillon slow dancing with wide smiles on their faces, talking about who knows what.
She needed this.
I turn back before bumping into an angry Andy, he looked at me for a second to register who I was.
“You!” he spat. He looked past me at what I think was Dillon dancing with Zack, as Andy went to storm towards them I grab him.
“Don’t make a scene dude... look, she is happy, isn’t that what you want?”
He took a minute to find his words.
“She would be happier with me..” He says sternly.
“No she wouldn’t, she is broken and you are engaged, you can’t claim her dude! Look how happy she looks” I say pointing to her.
“Whatever!” Andy says storming the opposite way of the dance floor.
Once the song finished Zack came over and said it was our turn to play something. I nod and run to the stage starring at Dillon for a second smiling like a goofball. The whole band run up onto the stage and I turn to them and whisper the song we were going to play.
“This song goes out to our new friend!” I say
We begin to play Lost In Stereo, I watch Dillon while I play and sing, he smiles and dances the whole song, clapping along to the beat. We then played Outlines and I say her mouth the words of the whole song. She truly was a fan...
She smiled wildly at me before we got off stage.
“That was awesome!” Dillon screamed. Dillon was covered in a thin layer of sweat looking as beautiful as ever.
“Lets go” Dillon say pointing towards our bus. She must be tired, it’s not that late though... I could make her some dinner.
“Wait! I have to go to my bus first to get a few things” she said “If....only I knew where the bus is...” she said putting a finger on her chin in a thinking pose. I smile and grab her hand.
“This way beautiful” that last part slipped out but she didn’t seem to notice.
I pulled her towards the Black Veil Brides bus.
“Come in” she said entering first.
I walk in to see an angry Andy. Fucking hell... when will this guy leave us alone! To be fair it is his bus.
I see Dillon take a long breath before walking past him.
“Calm it batman, he is not the Joker” She says towards Andy while walking towards the bunks. He chuckles at her remark loosening up a bit. Thank god, I don’t want to fight Andy in front of Dillon. It would upset her.
“I’m not staying here tonight Andy, and before you say anything you can ask Jinxx why okay? i’m done explaining” I hear her yell from the back.
“Where are you going to stay?” I hear him yell back, concern in his voice.
“Cameron is in town, i’m staying with him, he is dating my best friend. You know him Andy so drop it” I hear her spit. Dang.
“Then why is he here?” Andy says pointing to me looking at Dillon who I didn’t realize was topless. She was in a blue lace bra which suit her perfectly, Andy didn’t seem fazed by it.
“Andy. He is taking me there”
“Man your tits have grown” I almost drop my jaw, they must have had sex or something, she did say they dated.
“Fuck off Andrew! That’s what happens when you get older dumbass!” I hear her growl at him. Dillon looked up at me and mouthed an apology while putting a new shirt on. She picked up a small backpack and walked out.
“Dang! Your sweaty too, did you dance at the party?” he asked with a raised eyebrow.
“No, it’s from all the sex I had” She says winking at him before leaving the bus which I quickly followed. I hear things break in the bus but she didn’t even flinch.
“He fucking deserved that, talk about my tits that way” she spat. She turned around with a big smile.
“We never had sex if your thinking that, he used to walk into my bedroom without knocking a lot and I was usually on my bed in my bra” she said with a little chuckle.
I mentally sighed of relief. God that would have been awkward.
“Okay than lets get to the bus and feed you” I say placing my hand on her back, guiding her towards our bus. We walk for a while, before I hear Dillon squeak something out.
“What?” I ask trying to listen to her
“Should I apologize to him...he did nothing wrong I guess”
“Eh... it’s not my place to say anything but he was acting as if you were dating in there and that I was after you” To be honest I did like her and I think she is an awesome girl. So yeah I was after her, but he is engaged to someone else. It’s his turn to step down.
“I guess.... he has always been like that too, even when we were friends and Ashley hit on me, he used to lose his mind if that happened, well... he has calmed down a little” she said as we almost reach the bus.
I shrug off the conversation, the last person I want to be talking about is her ex.
“Ok so the guys on the bus might be hammered so this is your warning” I say as I open up the bus door. I gestured for Dillon to go in first, as I step in I see Zack’s lips on Dillon's.
“What the fuck?” I yell walking in.
Zack breaks the kiss and smiles big at me.
“It was just a dare dude” He said running to the back room. I look at Dil who doesn’t even look fazed by the kiss, she just wipes her mouth with the back of her hand.
“Man! I can taste the alcohol on you!” She said calmly. I shake my head to get rid of that image from my head.
“So... Dinner?” I ask her pointing to the kitchen. She nodded and followed me to the kitchen.
“So... we have beer and pizza pockets in the fridge, that is apparently all we have... might need to get some more food...” I say, letting out a sigh. I hate shopping.
“Pizza is fine, maybe tomorrow I could go shopping with you?” I smile and nod.
“Yeah that would be great! I hate shopping” I chuckle.
“Well i’m a girl so I am programed to love it” she smiled widely at me.
“Okay... well Pizza it is!”

Dillon’s POV

After we had pizza and Alex had a few beers we got ready to go to bed. I changed into my deathly hallow tank top and batman pajama shorts. Alex was just stripped down to his boxers and was already in bed.
“Nice shirt!” he laughed as I jump into the bunk with him. I didn’t expect their bunks to be this big, there was enough space for me.
“Thanks” I squeak out.

“Oh and if you are ever feeling down please just come over here and we will always be able to help you. I promise..” I smile and hug him. We stayed hugging until we fell asleep. He gave me heaps of comfort and I felt safe with him. Maybe he is my solution to getting over Andy fully.
