Free Bird

9 years later... (yes still 3rd person)

Chantel looked in the mirror and admired her outfit for her first day of high school. She was wearing one of her Black Veil Brides t-shirts and ripped jeans. She had on a little make-up but not much, and she had teased her black hair. She was content with how she looked and joined her family in the kitchen for breakfast. Her mother was was busy making pancakes for her twin brothers and baby sister. Her father was no where in site and pain struck her as she thought her father would miss her first day of high school.
"Chantel, sweetie, eat before your pancakes get cold," her mother tells her while balancing Jenny on her hip, "Christopher, Alexander, stop wasting the syrup."
Chantel sits and lazily pushes her pancakes around, and eats a few bites. She really hoped her father would be home, but hes off at the studio with all her uncles. When she sees its almost 6:30 she rushes to catch the bus. When she gets off the bus at the school she sees her father waiting for her.
"Daddy? What are you doing here?" she asks
"Did you think I would miss my little girls first day of high school?" Ashley says as he hugs his oldest daughter.
When the bell rings, Chantel rushes inside and Ashley watches his daughter enter the next four hardest years of her life. He looks at his watch and realizes he has to hurry to surprise his twin boys at their first day.

Ashley and Neveah: happily married 13 years. Have Chantel (15), twin boys Christopher and Alexander (9), and Jenny (4). Chantel plays guitar, bass, drums, and she sings. She is working on writing songs to be a singer. The twins are super into sports. Jenny, even at 4, is showing artistic talent.
Juliet and Andy: happily married 12 years. Have Axel (11) and Jessica (5). Axel likes books and Jessica is showing interest in the piano.
Alice and Jinxx: happily married 11 years. Have Jaxon (10) and Illiana (4). Jaxon likes music like his daddy and Illiana loves to put on fashion shows for her family.
Shay and Jake: happily married 10 years. Have Vincent (9) and Jason (3). Vincent is interested in baseball. Jason is a little rumbustious bundle and if he isn't coloring the walls hes playing drums in the kitchen.
Amelia and CC: happily married 8, almost 9 years. Have Zoie (7) and Anna (2). Both love to dress up.
The band is still going, but fading as the guys get older. Amelia is doing her best to keep Juliet up there. Everyone else is fine. Neveah's vision has still never changed and she's hoping the doctors predictions of being blind at 40 don't come true.

1 all the kids will be posted in the next chapter what they look like.
2 sorry I'm skipping and writing differently than normal, trying to finish up the story, thinking maybe 2-3 more actual chapters.
