*Dream*

"Hello?" I shout into the emptiness.
Nothing is around me, just a glowing white. Oh no! Where is Ashley? Please tell me I didn't die. My whole life I begged for it. I don't want it, I want Ashley. I want all the guys, and the girls. I want Amelia, Shay, my degree. I want to grow old with Ashley, to get married, have little mini me's and mini Ashley's running around. To tell them about their auntie Jessica who had a big heart and loved everyone no matter how bad of a person they were.
"Neva?" I hear and whip around to see my sister with a huge smile.
I break down and cry, not tears of joy but tears of pain and sadness. If Jessica is here that means I really am dead and I left poor Ashley. I cry and cry and then I feel Jessica's arms wrap around me like they used too.
"Why are you crying Neva?" she asks puzzled
"Because I love you sissy, but I'm not ready yet. I want Ashley, I know what love is, I know what you felt that night you got in that car. I want to have kids, to tell them about you. I...."
"Neva, Neva!" she shouts trying to calm me down as sobs rock my entire body, "I know that's what you want, that's why I'm here. You aren't dead Neva, this is just a dream. You get to wake up in the arms of your Ashley, you're safe in his arms right now as we speak. I came to say see you later. You won't be seeing much of me now unless I need to give you a good kick in the butt. Okay? Now, I have to go, and you have to wake up because Ashley is about to wake up and see you crying. Wouldn't want the poor dear to have a heart attack would we?"
I shake my head no and embrace my sister as she wraps her arms around me.
"I miss you sissy!" I sob as another wave hits me, "I wish you were here!"
As she loosens her embrace, she starts to fade. But before she does I hear.
"I know you do," her voice pauses as I hear a sniffle, "I... I miss you too!"
...

Tears fall down my face as I jolt up in Ashley's bunk, startling him awake, hitting my head, and waking up Jake who is bunked above us...
It sinks in that I'm okay, I am in the arms of my love, and my sissy can finally be at peace...

Notes

I wasn't expecting to cry when I wrote this chapter, but I did get a little teary eyed.
I always wanted a sister, but I'm the youngest of two, and I guess my brother will just have to do.
