Free Bird

I was laughing and enjoying watching CC and Ashley sword fight with tooth picks, then I saw him, walking with Amelia, right towards us. I froze, trying to hold myself together.
"Neveah!" Amelia screams and waves at me from a few tables over.
All the guys stop and look at her, then look at me. The moment Ashley sees my face he knows something isn't right. I force myself to smile, and he sees it.
"Hey Neveah." I struggle to say
"I haven't seen you around lately, I have been meaning to ask you, why did you run off the other day?"
"Yeah, why did you?" Chris smirks at me, he knows that I know.
Tears threaten to build in my eyes as he speaks. Ashley holds my hand and whispers it will be okay in my ear.
"You've been wanting to tell her sweetie, to warn her. Here is your chance, we're all here, nothing will happen to you" he whispers
I look around at everyone and see they're all staring at Chris with hatred. Andy catches my eyes and nods. I take a deep breath.
"Don't play stupid Chris." I start, saying his name makes bile rise in my throat, but then I feel all the anger I have towards him start up, and before I can control it, I explode! "How could you? You told me you loved me, you never did, all you did was use me, and abuse me. You left me in that closet that day! Probably hoping I would die! You spread rumors that I drugged you, raped you for attention and gave you an STD, all because I was tired of being your punching bag! Yours and Hayleys! You two almost killed me that day, she left me for dead in the girls bathroom, but you didn't care! I'm going to be blind someday! So yes I ran off the other day, excuse me for not wanting to relive the memories! Excuse me for not wanting to kill you in front of the entire football team and my best friend before I had the chance to warn her about you! To tell her what kind of a person you really are! When I watched you touch her I felt bile rise in my throat, anger grew in me, because I didn't want you touching her! I don't want you touching anybody anymore. I want you out of my world, out of existence, so you can't hurt anybody anymore! Fuck you Chris! I know what real love is now, Ashley has shown me that, all the guys have."
Tears stream down my face as I get everything out. All the anger I have towards him, I turn towards Amelia, "Amelia, please... I know you think he's a nice guy, but I'm telling you. He doesn't like girls like us, He'll use you, and I don't want you getting hurt."
She stands there, looking at me with tears in her eyes. She looks at the floor, then something in her clicks and she drops her hand from his. she walks away from him and over to me. She wraps me in a hug, then faces him.
"Goodbye Chris. I don't want to be with someone who hurt my best friend, who could hurt me." she says while standing tall.
"Fuck you NOT! You stupid bitch!" he goes to walk away, but Ashley and Andy rush him.
They drag him out the door into the parking lot. We all follow and see Ashley and Andy punching him. CC runs over, I'm thinking to stop them, but he joins in. Jake and Jinxx even hit him once before pulling CC off, then Andy, they let Ashley hit him a few more times before pulling him off. We all pile in the cars and take off...
