Die for You
Chapter 4
Rose's POV:
I took a deep breath as I stood before the familiar door, prepared to knock. I glanced behind my shoulder and Ash gave me an encouraging look, gesturing for me to knock. I took a deep breath, and did exactly that.
I waited patiently for him to answer the door, if he even would. I felt awful for being here in the first place, when he was supposedly dating Juliet again, but Ash insisted that I needed to talk to him. Be honest.
A million thoughts raced through my head, though they all disappeared when the door opened, revealing a bleariky eyed, shirtless Andy. I sucked in a quick breath at the sight of him, havig forgotten how attractive he really was.
I smiled shyly at him, "hi Andy."
This seemed to get his attention, and his eyes widened, as if not sure what he was seeing was true. "Rosie?" What are you doing here?"
I smiled again and glanced back at Ashley who grinned at me, "um, well I know I have no place asking you to do this, but I'd really like to talk about our relationship. And uh, how we broke up, which I didn't want to do for the record."
He raises an eyebrow questioningly, but ushers my in his all-too familiar apartment, closing the door on Ash who protests. We both let out a comfortable laugh at Ash's face as he pounded on the door after us.
"So, care to explain then?" Andy asks, taking a seat beside me on the couch, a polite amount of distance away.
I fiddle with the rings on my finger before answering quietly, "my parents said if we stayed together, they wouldn't pay my tuition."
Andy's eyes widen in shock and he pulls away, "wait, what? Why would they do that?" He asks, standing up and pacing in frustration.
I sigh, "I don't know. But I still love you Andy, and I know I have right saying this, but I do. It's not a problem, I don't even think I want to pursue a career in dance anymore," I explain, standing up with him.
He stills, turning to meet my gaze, body tense. "What did you say?"
I gulp, "I still love you Andy."
He cups my cheek and tilts my chin upwards so our eyes meet, the air between us becoming more intense then before. My breathing quickens as does my heart rate as he leans down, our foreheads touching, "I have only ever loved you, Rosie."
And that's all I need to hear before I go up on my toes and press my lips to his. And I feel home.
Notes
Yes I'm rushing this but the plot is focussing on Rosie and Andy's relationship as it matured, not the past
I <3 this! I just got a new computer and back on here. I'm sad you didn't get the attention. It's awesome story.
