Die for You

Rose's POV:

"Rosalie! I said for a triple pirouette. and then turn out of it with a grande jete, do it again," my teacher snaps, sounding both incredibly bored and annoyed at the same time.

I sigh, and tighten my ponytail and cracking my back, before leaping into the aerial and finishing the small combo I created yesterday. Despite my sloppy choreography skills, my teacher has grown a sudden fondness for the quick routine, and wants me to perfect it for next week.

The days since my breakup with Andy have been long and then short, and then long again. I've jumped into my schoolwork, using my spare time to either work on my dancing or look for a job. I'm secretly hoping that if I somehow manage to pay my way through university, I'll be able to win Andy back, even though I know deep inside, it's hopeless.

A month after our dreaded breakup, he was sighted once again with Juliet Simms, who despite my original hatred towards her, quickly became one of my closest friends. I'm happy for her, but I can't help the sickness I feel whenever I see a photo of them together. But if I can't be with Andy, I would rather she be.
