Die for You

Rose's POV:

I took a deep breath and I clenched my eyes shut for a brief moment, needing absolute silence before my life was over, in more then one sense. Then I heard a loud bang, indicating that the heavy door to the roof had been promptly burst open. I didn't even react, instead I focussed all of my attention on the small stick held tightly in my right fist.

"Rose! What the hell do you think you're doing? Get down from there, please baby, " he begged.

I didn't respond at first, my decision already made as my eyes ran lazily over the results controlling my life. Because in that very moment, my life had been changed forever, and nothing he could ever do or say would change it, because my mind had been made up.

I turned to Andy ever so slowly, a small smile creeping up on my once still facial features as I unclenched my fist that was holding the pregnancy stick. Andy's smiled softly in relief before his eyes darted to my right hand, and a look of pure confusion settled on his handsome features.

"What does this mean?" He asked, half whispering.

To both of our astonishment, I laughed. "I'm pregnant, Andy. We're going to be parents."
