Immortal Spell

Ashley’s POV
I woke again to kicking and screaming; I woke Kassy up and she cried herself back to sleep in my arms. This cycle has been happening since Derik took her, AJ said she should be better by now but we don’t know what he did to her so it might take longer than it should. I just want her to be back to normal, well as normal as it can get, I hate seeing her like this. She doesn’t deserve to go through any of this.
Kassy then stirs next to me trying to get comfortable again, I watcher go back to sleep before I get up and go back to packing for our promotion tour that starts on Wednesday. I’m glad to be going back on the road and I think it will be good for Kassy to, hopefully the guys being there will help her give her more support. It has been hard this past week and a half, with filming our movie and stuff with stuff with Kassy even though it only affects her at night. It’s been rough but we’ve made it through, together we made it through.
“Ash?” Kassy calls from the bed.
“Yes my red rebel?” I say walking over to her.
“I was wondering where you were.”
“Just finishing up packing, that’s all. How are you doing?”
“Well I feel like I’m the size of a pumpkin and I still can’t fall asleep without some kind of nightmare, where I relive my past. I think I’m reliving past so I can finally put it behind me but that’s only a theory.”
“Well I hope your almost up to the present because I can’t take seeing you like this anymore, it’s killing me on the inside.”
“I think so but I don’t know it could all of sudden give me a painful reminder of what he just recently did to me.”
“Well we’ll see tonight; do you want to stay in bed for a little longer or get up?”
“I probably should get up but I’m too comfortable to move.”
“How about you stay in bed till I think I’m done packing, then you can get up, look over the packing I’ve done and then we can get ready for the day.”
“Sounds like a plan.” She then snuggled deeper into the covers and Nyx curled up next to her and Tokyo and Killer where by her feet. I then went back to pack and went through the list of things we’ll need on tour; when I finished packing I picked out clothes for both Kassy and I. once our clothes were laid out and the shower was heating up I woke Kassy up and got her in the shower. We got ready and went downstairs to eat breakfast and let the dogs outside and feed them.
“So what is the plan for today?” Kassy asked as we ate breakfast.
“We have an off day so I have a plan for us to look at some houses closer to here and the guys because my place is kinda far from here and the guys are closer to you than me.”
“Okay that sounds like a great idea and we probably should find a place soon since we’re running out of time.”
“So we have to leave in ten minutes so we can get their before the reinstate agent.”
“Let me just put my shoes on then I’ll be ready to go.”
“What shoes do you want, I’ll get them.” I say walking to the coat closet in the front hall.
“One of my combat boots.” I say combat boots at the same time as she does. I swear if combat boots were made illegal she would die, I grabbed her short red combat boots and walked back into the kitchen. She put them on and we left, we went to the first house and it looked good from the outside and I hope it has just as good of an enterer.
“You are early.” I hear Fran our reinstate agent say from the front porch.
“We go on tour in two days so we wanted to get through as many places as possible.” I say as we approach the porch.
“Well then let’s get started.” She then took us through the house but it wasn’t what we were looking for so we drove to the next; it was another flop so we drove to the next. We then went through six more houses and we didn’t like any of them.
“Okay this is my last house I have for you today.” We then walked in and I knew in that moment that this was our house. So I turned to Kassy and asked “What do you think?”
“I love it, I think this is our house and it’s really close to the rest of the guys. It’s just perfect.”
“I couldn’t agree more; Fran I think this is it.” I said to Fran.
“Exhalent, I can send you the paperwork tomorrow.” Fran said.
“I would like to sign it today if possible.”
“It is we just have to go back to my office.” We then followed Fran to her office and signed for the house and made a payment on it.
As we walked to the car Kassy said “You know I could have paid for the house in full right.”
“Yes but I wanted to put at least one payment of my own into the house before you paid for the rest.”
“I guess I can understand that.” Kassy said.
