Immortal Spell

We arrived at the burnt house just as Kassy let out an ear perusing scream; I was going to run into the house when AJ stopped me and said “Wait.”
“How can I wait when Kassy is in there and he’s doing god knows what to her.” I say trying to get past her.
“Hold your horses Cowboy, just give me a minute to get something out.” She then reached into one of Kassy’s side compartments and pulled out a knife.
“All you have is a knife.” Andy said.
“Yes now you guys get Kassy and I will go for asshole.” She said as we walked in.
I heard the man who took Kassy say “Now tell me his name before you lose your existence.” As I looked into the room I saw him holding the same blade as AJ and just as I began to enter the room Kassy started to yell “Neev…” I looked over to her and I wished I hadn’t, she looked awful, I started to run for her as AJ came out from behind Derik and stabbed him in the chest with the knife she was holding. I got to Kassy as he burst into flames and became ash.
“Hey Cowboy.” Kassy said sounding weak.
“Hey Red Rebel.” I then untied her.
“She needs blood and Ash you can’t lose anymore; one of you four is going to have to sacrifice a pint of blood so she can heal.” AJ said looking at the guys.
“I will as long as you promise it won’t hurt.” CC said walking toward Kassy.
“You don’t have a blood bond but just in case look me in the eyes.” AJ said and CC did “You won’t feel a thing.” She then had CC walk over to Kassy and hold out his wrist; Kassy didn’t grab it at first so AJ held it to her mouth and she bit CC take long drinks. After a while Kassy grabbed CC’s wrist only for AJ to say it was enough.
“It would normally but my entire body took down its defenses to protect the twins.” Kassy said sounding a little stronger.
“Clean CC’s wrist and Andy would you mind.” AJ said looking at Andy.
“Don’t have him do it he’s a little in shock but I will.” Jinxx said walking over to Kassy. She then took his wrist and drank from him, this time stopping on her own. When I looked at the hand I was holding it was no longer bleeding and heeled.
“Let get back to the apartment and we’ll explain everything to you guys.” AJ said as I pick Kassy up and carried her to Andy’s car. We then drove all the way home with AJ and I in the lead followed by Andy’s car driven by Jake and CC and Jinxx in CC’s car. When we got back to the apartment building I parked and grabbed Kassy out of Andy’s back seat to carry her upstairs.
“You know this is one of the only times where I’ve carried you and you haven’t complained.” I say as we ride the elevator up to our floor.
“Well I’m a little too weak to complain or walk.” Kassy said with her head against my chest.
“I love you and I will never let you go again.” I say kissing the top of her head.
“I love you too and you will never lose me again.” The door then opened to our floor and we walked to our apartment.
“Okay before I start to explain I’m going to get Kassy a pint of blood to help give her back her strength.” AJ said as she walked into the kitchen.
“Can you put cinnamon in it?” Kassy asked really quietly that I though AJ wouldn’t be able to hear her.
“I know how you like it.” AJ said as she walked back into the living room where we are all sitting; she handed the mug to Kassy and set a black pitcher in front of her on the table.
“Okay before you start talking is there any way you can bring Andy back.” CC asked.
“Yes I can, Andy I need you to look in my eyes. Okay good, calm down.” AJ said doing her mind controlling thing.

AJ’s POV
I then sat back down and began to explain everything to Andy, CC, Jake and Jinxx as Ash took care of Kassy and made he drink all the blood I got out for her. The guys were pretty good and handled it better than anyone I had ever told before. “So do you guys have any questions?”
“Yeah, do you pee red since you drink blood?” CC asked like an idiot and I swear Kassy almost lost the blood she was drinking.
“No C Bear we don’t, any other questions that are serious?” I ask again.
“You talked about a gene that allows mortals as you put it to become like you do we have the gene?” Andy asked.
“Yes you all do and so do your current girlfriends; none of you are related to each other except CC you’re a distant nephew. You’re a grandson of my brother.”
“So you’re my aunt?” CC asked.
“Yes and if you ever call me your aunt I may just hang you by your toes.”
“Okay I promise not to.” CC said holding his hands up in surrender.
“What different abilities do you have?” Jinxx asked.
“Well I told you about the magic, we are also faster and stronger than any human. We also have amazing senses and all emotions are stronger.”
They continued to ask questions until I kicked them out when I was tired and Kassy and Ash were already in bed.

Kassy’s POV
I was home and in Ash’s arms; AJ was telling the guys the truth, and I just sat their drinking pints of blood. After my third pint I was feeling like myself again and I was all healed; I began to fall asleep while AJ was answering the guys’ questions. I felt myself being lifted off the coach and carried up stairs to bed.
“Are you still awake?” Ash asked.
“Kinda.”
“How are you feeling?”
“Like myself again.”
“That’s good, I am so sorry this happened. I…” I cut him off kissing him.
“None of this was your fault and know we don’t have to live in fear of him. I love you and I will do whatever it takes to make sure you’re safe while you are still human.”
“Isn’t it my job to protect you?”
“We’ll protect each other.”
“I like that, know go to sleep, I can tell you are still not yourself.
“Okay, I love you.”
“I love you more.” I then snuggled into his chest and fell asleep.
