“It is not a problem.” He then turned off the freeway and drove to the store. “Do you want anything else with your anchovies?”
“Yes can have feta cheese and Kalamata olives as well?”
”Yes you can, so you’re craving Greek food.”
“Apparently.” We then got out of the car and walked into the store heading towards the deli.
“What can I get you two?” the man behind the counter asked.
“A pound of anchovies.” Ash said.
“Okay anything else?”
“Yes we would like a pound of feta and a pound of Kalamata olives as well.”
“Alright here you go.” He handed us the food and we headed to the register. When we were done we headed to the studio.
“I got the food.” Ash said as he opened the door.
“Alright can you hand me my bag too?” I asked walking to the trunk.”
“Here we go; are we telling the guys the names or just that we are having a boy and a girl.”
“Just that we are having a boy and girl.” I say as we walk in.
“Hey guys so how did it go?” Andy asked as soon as we were in the room.
“Well we found out that we are having a boy and a girl.” Ash said.
“Awesome so now we’ll have two Ashley’s running around.”
“No we won’t well have me and Zander running around.” Ash said and I proceeded to smack him upside the head. “Owww, what was that for?”
“What did I just say outside and you even asked if to was okay to tell them. I clearly remember we weren’t going to tell them the names we have picked out.
“Oh yeah, I’m sorry Kassy.” Ash said apologizing.
“Well what is the girls name since we already know the boy’s name, it is only fair we know the girl’s name.” CC asked.
“It’s Jezebel.” I say.
“That’s really pretty; so who came up with each name?” Jake asked.
“I came up with Zander and Kassy came up with Jezebel.” Ash said then turned to me and said “Here’s your food Kassy.”
“I someone having cravings?” Jinxx asked.
“Yes and if any of you touch my food I will kill them.” I say waving my fork at them.
“Even your cowboy?” Ash asked.
“Yes even my cowboy.” I say and then pull out my anchovies.
“Eww what are those?” CC asked.
“Anchovies.” I answered.
“Blah.”
“You are so childish C bear.”
“So Ash and CC have nicknames, what about the rest of us?” Andy asked.
“Well Ash is cowboy, CC is C bear, Andy your Batman because of your obsession, Jake your Mad Man because you are a genus on the guitar, and Jinxx your sucky violinist.” Seeing Jinxx’s face I said “No you’re not it was a joke your Classical because you are mature and have a classical background.”
“Nice so CC calls you K bear and Ash probably calls you…” Andy said looking at Ash.
“Red Rebel because of her red hair and her rebellious side.” Ash said looking at me.
“So instead of getting anything done today we are going to sit here and give each other nicknames.” I say sounding like the only adult in the room.
“If you are going to do that I will get some songs finished and you all can go somewhere else.” John said kicking us out of the studio. We then left the studio and headed to the restaurant we always eat at.
“So do you all want your usual?” Our normal waiter asked.
“Do you have an anchovy salad?” I asked still craving the little fish.
“Yes we do would you like feta and Kalamata olives as well?”
“Yes please.”
“I will be right back with your drinks.” She then left.
“Okay I think we should wright these down.” I say pulling out a note book and pen.
“So who should we give names to first?” Andy asked.
“I say you.” Jake said.
“Okay so Kassy calls me Batman, Ash what are you going to call me?” Andy said.
“Tooth pick, because you thin and tall.” Ash said.
“Thanks, CC what about you?” Andy asked.
“Hero, because our fans look up to you and listen to your lyrics.”
“Wow C bear that is probably the most serious thing you’ve said.” I say righting down Hero.
“Prophet, kinda piggy backing on what CC said.” Jinxx says.
“Band Leader, you’re the one who answers all the questions.” Jake.
“Jake since you were the last one to talk we’ll do you next.” I say starting anew line.
“Okay Kassy calls you Mad Man; I’m going to call you Mourner and I don’t think you need a reason.” Andy says.
“Guitar Brother.” Jinxx said.
”PARTY PARTNER.” CC yelled.
“Okay CC, I would say Tech because you know lots of different equipment for the band.” Ash said as our food came.
“Okay Ash your turn; I call you Cowboy.” I say before taking an anchovy off my salad.
“Deviant.” Andy said with no explanation.
“Kashy, you know Kassy and Ash.” CC said sounding like a dork.
“Badass.” Jake said.
“Outlaw, I’m surprised no one said that yet.” Jinxx said.
“Okay time for Jinxx.”
“Mystic.” Andy said.
“Big Brother, because you are protective of everyone.” Jake said.
“Cheshire, because of the creepy smile you do with your makeup.” Ash said and Jinxx just shrugged.
“Party pooper.” CC said sulking like he was remembering a time when Jinxx ruined his fun.
“Alright CC you are the last one.” I say trying to avoid hearing their nicknames for me.
“Nice try we still have to do you.” CC said.
“Dam it.” I then went back to my note book as Andy said “Party Animal.”
“Monster because your addicted to the energy drink.” Ash said.
“Speaker because all you do is yell.” Jinxx said.
“Destroyer cause you tend to break things.” Jake said.
“Okay now you guys can tell me my nicknames but be nice.” I say as I finish my salad.
“Red, just plain and simple.” Andy said putting no thought in it.
”Parent because you like to make sure we are in line and get what we have to get done, done.” Jake said.
“Band Fan, because you know millions of bands and if you don’t know a band you’ll do research till you know the band well enough to work with them.” Jinxx said.
“Oh Jinxx that is so nice of you to say, I was expecting you say something like I don’t know but not that.” I say taken over by my emotions that I can no longer control.
We then talked for a while longer before we all said goodbye to go home and get ready for a day of hard work tomorrow.
