Immortal Spell

I woke up at six this morning with “morning sickness” and Ash woke up minutes later and held my hair back while rubbing my back to comfort me. We then took a quick shower and got dressed for my appointment; we had breakfast and took Ash’s car to the doctor’s office. We checked in at the desk and sat down waiting to be called back. I was sitting next to Ash and holding his hand when a nursed called for “Kassandra Elizabeth.” We then got up and follow the nurse to a room.
“Here pee in this cup.” She said handing me a small cup. I then looked her in the eyes and said “It’s positive and you don’t need the date of my last menstrual cycle.” The nurse nodded and asked me to get on a scale, I agreed and she wrote down the number. The nurse then left the room leave Ash and I sitting there waiting for the doctor to come in.
“What was that?” Ash asked me.
“What was what?” I asked trying to avoid the subject.
“What you did to the nurse.”
“Oh that was simple mind control I can make her believe whatever I want her to think.”
“Have you ever used it on me?”
“Nope there’s no need to since you already do what I want you to do.”
“Oh ha, ha you’re so funny.”
“I try.” Then there was a knock on the door and the doctor walked in.
“Hello I’m doctor Mandy.”
“Hello.” Ash and I said in unison.
“Let’s lay you back l and look at the baby growing inside you.” She then had me lay back and put gel on my stomach and turned on the ultrasound machine.
“Well looking here, it looks like you two are expecting twins.” Dr. Mandy said pointing to the screen.
“Twins?” Ash asked.
“Yes twins, would you like me to make you a copy?”
“Yes we would.” I say patting Ashley’s hand trying to calm him.
“Here you go, I would like to see you…”
“In July.” I say looking into her eyes.
“Yes July and here you go.” She said handing me the ultrasound. Ash and I walked out of the office and got in the car to drive to the studio. When we got there Ash and I went inside to find the guys sitting around doing different things. Andy was weighting in the corner, Jake and Jinxx were messing around on their guitars, and CC was hitting his legs with his drum sticks.
“Hey guys.” I say sitting down on the coach.
“How was the appointment?” Andy asked walking back into the land of the living.
“Good and we have some news for you guys.” I say.
“Oh what do you have to tell us K bear?” CC asked.
Ash looked at me and I said “Were having twins.” I then held out the ultrasound and Andy was the first to look at it.
“Wow so Purdy is going to be a father; no one thought that he would be the first to settle down.” Andy sad teasing Ash.
“Congrats K bear.” CC said giving me too tight of a hug, which ended up with me puking in a trash can.
“Are you okay Kassy?” Ash asked as he rubbed my back to sooth me.
“Yeah my stomach is just really weak.” I say.
“I’m sorry K bear.” CC says looking really sad.
“It’s okay C bear, you didn’t know.” I say holding out my arms to give him a hug; which he greatly ran over to me and gave me a genital hug.
“Congrats you two.” Jinxx said.
“I’m kinda shocked that Ash is having a kid, I mean two kids.” Jake said.
“Thanks guys, alright so what are you guys working on?” I asked as I got off the floor.
“Well I’m trying to wright, Jake and Jinxx are working on guitars and CC is just about to start tracking.” Andy said as he went back to his corner.
“Do you want me to help you wright? I’m really good at helping someone find the right words.” I asked Andy.
“Um… I usually wright alone but I’ll let you help this one time, only because I have righters block.” Andy said.
“So what are you thinking about?”
“Well we want to do a concept record and that’s all I really have to go off of.” He said as he stared at his note pad.
“Okay what do you want the concept to be?”
“Something about rebels escaping a religious force.”
“Okay how about a song talking about how these rebels don’t belong.” I suggests and he thinks for a minute before he begins to wright.
“How does this sound.” Andy says handing me his note pad I read

“I like it, do you mind righting it down.” He said handing me the note pad.
“I don’t mind.” I then wrote down the chorus I came up with and handed it back to him. He wrote some more and I let him be as he finished the song.
“Hey Kassy I think I finished it, do you mind reading it over?” Andy asked as he handed me his note pad once again. I read

“That’s amazing Andy.”
“Well it’s thanks to you I was able to collect my thoughts. Hey would you be able to wright with me for the entire album”
“I don’t know, Hot Topic is being an ass right now and giving me work that I don’t usually do and I have the bands I design for how I have meetings with every now and then. I just don’t know.”
“I think you should quit Hot Topic and just work with your bands, it’s what your good at and you keep taking on knew collections.” Ash says as he walks over to where we’re sitting.
“I suppose your right; do you mind running me over their right now?”
“No I don’t mind and I think we are just about to take a break for lunch.” Ash said. We then got in the car and drove over to HQ and I went upstairs, walked into my boss’s office and quit. We then drove over to where the rest of the band was eating lunch.
“So how did it go?” Andy asked as I sat down with my food.
“Okay, I went in said I quit I’m doing fine without your help and then I left.”
“You have a lot of food there you know K bear.” CC said.
“I am eating for three.” I say eating my food. We eat lunch and headed back to the studio and I helped Andy wright two more songs while the rest of the guys worked on tracking there instruments. At ten we called it a night and said our goodbyes as we all headed to our homes.
“I am shocked that Andy let you help him wright, he normally hides somewhere and does his righting.” Ash said as he drove us home.
“Well I’m just glad I could help.” We then pulled into the parking garage.
“Come on let’s get you to bed.” Ash said grabbing my hand and walking to the elevator. When we got up to the apartment we had something quick to eat before we finally went to bed and that nightlike every night I fell asleep in Ashley’s arms.
