You Again

It's Christmas time! I love all the little Christmassy stories that I was told as a child, especially the romantic ones. And I get to spend it with Andy. Just to be clear, I am not and will not be getting back together with him. I can't just jump back to where we left off, he hurt me. But one day I hope to see him in that light again.

I finish packing my bags and hull them to the apartment door. CC's over here today. Apparently him and Sakura are spending Christmas together, I'm happy that she's committed to their relationship. She has a bad run with guys. She's usually used for sex and as a trophy they swing around to their friends, but with CC it's different. She's finally found someone who loves her for more than her body. I'm happy for them.

"Hey Belle." CC says. Ever since Andy's shoved his way back into my life, everyone's been calling me Belle. So like three weeks.

"Hey C, what do you have in store for Christmas with Sakura?" I ask.

"Well I took your advice and I ordered old black and white films, and I will be making her her favourite dish, chicken pot pie. I know how much she hates turkey." He says, I forgot to mention I've been giving him dating advice for my best friend.

"Good, she'll love you till at least New Years." We both laugh.

"What are you two laughing about?" Sakura asks as she steps out of her room.

"Uh" he says, oh my dear CC.

"I was just telling him a story about Andy and me." I say saving his ass.

"Oh tell me!" She says running over to us.

"Well it happened in the fourth grade...




Flashback:

"Belle pass me the chocolate syrup." Andy requests. I open his fridge and grab it for him. His hand briefly holds mine and takes the syrup. Is it bad I have a crush on my best friend?

"What are you making?" I ask, trying to get his attention onto me.

"Well my cousin Joe is coming over today and I have a plan. But I'll need your help." He says making me grin.

"Partners in crime till the end." I say.

"Great, you're going to be working the camera. I need you film everything that happens." I nod and the doorbell rings. He motions for me to move to the door and answer it.

"Hey Isabelle, is Andy here?" Our neighbour Scout asks. She has a crush on Andy, but I know he doesn't like her like that, so good.

"Yeah, now!" I shout. Andy leaps out and shoves a bowl of whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and caramel sauce in her face. I laugh my ass off.

"This isn't Joe!" Andy says and I keep giggling. "I'm sorry Scout." She cries as she walks away. "That wasn't Joe."

"I know, but she was going to pull you aside and get all of your attention, I couldn't allow that to happen." I say.

"Do you have a little crush on me Belle?" He asks.

"No," not a little crush, it's more like a huge one. "Now let's set up for Joe." Andy smiles at me and we get into our places.

End Of Flashback.




"And we got in big shit doing it to Scout. Joe didn't really care when it happened to him." I finish telling the story. CC and Sakura both laugh at what I had Andy do. Looking back, it was completely childish, but I was a child so sue me. There's a knock on the door. I run over and open it. Andy stands in the doorway and I hug him. He's somewhat surprised and hugs back. I quickly release and look up at him.

"You ready to go?" He asks.

"Yeah, just gonna say bye." I say. I walk over to CC and hug him. I whisper in his ear; "She's a white wine drinker, not red." He smiles and I move over to Sakura. "I'll see you in the new year." I give her a big hug.

"Call me when you're opening my gift, okay?" She asks and I nod. Andy waves goodbye and we walk down to his car. He puts my suitcase in the back and drives us to the airport.

"I forgot to mention this one thing, Scout's going to be at the Christmas party." Andy mentions as we board the plane.

"What?" I ask pissed.

"Scout said she'd go with me to the party a month ago, it was before I ran into you, and I'm sorry I didn't mention this sooner." We take our seats.

"She hates me and is in love with you. Have fun, I'm going to be chilling out with Joe in the basement." I say.

"No please don't leave me alone with her, I want to spend Christmas with you." He begs.

"Your fault for inviting her."

"Please Belle, she scares me and the only reason I invited her was because I thought you would be going and I wanted to make you jealous."

"Well good luck making me jealous, I can make you way more jealous."

"How Miss?"

"Joe's always had a crush on me, so..."

"Use my own cousin against me, shame."

"No shame in using my resources."

"So this jealousy bet is on?"

"Deal Biersack."

"Pleasure working with you Belle."




After five hours, we finally get to home sweet home. "I just got a text from Joe, he says he's already at the house." Andy says. As the taxi drives us back to our old street, I stare out the window at the falling snow.

"That just means I get extra time." I say with a smirk.

"You really think you're going to win, don't you?" He asks.

"Well yeah, it worked when we were younger."




Flashback:

Andy and I got in a huge fight last night. He said that if his career was working out that I would just drop what I'm doing to be by his side. I'm not going to give up on me dream just because my other half is more successful than me. It ended as a screaming match and my voice still kind of hurts. I haven't spoken to him all morning. I see him sitting next to Chance in the cafeteria. I buy a banana for lunch and walk up to Chris, a hot guy from my drama class.

"Hey Chris." I say getting his attention, he smiles when he sees me.

"Hey Isabelle, don't you usually hang out with your boyfriend at lunch?" He asks.

"We had a fight last night, so do you have a girlfriend?" I ask.

"Not at the moment."

"Wanna help me preform a little skit?"

"What do I have to do?"

"Just follow my lead."

I grab a hold of his arm and put it around my waist, I make sure he puts his hand on my ass. I start giggling and he chuckles along, and we walk down the wide aisle of the cafeteria. I see Chance nudge Andy, and Andy looks up at me. He stands up and walks over to us. He pulls me out into the hall and pushes me up against the lockers and kisses me. When we release he said sorry.

I look over at Andy and smile to myself.
