Can you ever forgive me?

Cassidy's POV
I woke up to birds chirping outside and I smiled. My smile soon vanished after thinking of yesterday. I pulled out my laptop and googled Andy Biersack and Ashley Purdy. Holy smokes. Damn. The images made me long for Andy even more. Wait... Did I just think about him in that way? I clicked on the video for Saviour. I listened to the lyrics and glanced down at my wrist.

"So hear my voice. Remind you not to bleed. I'm here, Saviour."

My skin tingled at the sound of his beautiful voice. The words got into my head and I realized the difference between him and Taylor Swift. I now knew what Abby was trying to tell me. He was an inspiration and she wrote songs about boys. I listened to more Black Veil Brides songs and my eyes were on Andy. The way his mouth moved, the way he walked, the way he moved his hands, his facial expressions. They all set me off. I guess we love what we can't have. My phone vibrated on the table and I answered it. "Hello?"
"Hey, Cassidy. It's me, Abby. Unlock your front door. I've been waiting for like 10 minutes. What are you doing up there?" I could see a smirk spreading across her face.
"Shut up. I'm coming." I paused the music and shut my laptop. Once I stopped the music I could hear her knocks on the door. Oops. I ran down the stairs and told her to shut up. I opened the door and started to speak. "Hey Ab- you're not Abby."
"I'm not."
"Get away from my door." I said in a stern voice to Jessica. She tapped her foot and walked inside. I shut the door behind me and was going to strangle her.
"Don't even think about it. Didn't I tell you to leave me alone?" She said while whipping around. We were face to face now. "All I'm asking is for you to go away." She said pleadingly. "What will it take?"
"How-"
"Forget about that. Answer the question." She said.
"I got it." I said with a great idea.
"What?"
"Andy's mine." Her mouth dropped and I smiled.

"Go ahead. Take him. But let me tell you something. It won't be easy." She walked out of my house with a grin and I frowned. It won't be easy? I grabbed my sweater and retrieved my phone from upstairs. Hopefully I can catch Andy in the park. Before walking out the door I ran back upstairs to get changed. I put on my blue crop top and tiny denim shorts. As I was heading out I left a note on the fridge for my mother and slipped on my black flip flops. I went onto spotify on my phone and added BVB music to it. I listened to them the whole way to the park. I was in a good mood and I was in an even better mood once I saw Andy and Ashley at a park bench. I tried to walk normal but my eagerness over powered me. I ended up running up to them and I sat down next to Ashley. I pulled out my earbuds and stopped my music.
"Hey Cassidy. Glad you came back to see me. Can I see you phone?"
"Umm sure." I handed my phone to him and I started to talk to Andy. "Hey Andy." I said calmly even though my insides were melting.
"Can I put my number in your phone too? So you can send me hurtful messages too?" He asked. His eyes glared at me and I shrunk back.
"So that's what Ashley's doing." I said. Ashley smiled and I put my number in his phone. He thanked me and I looked back at Andy. "What are you talking about?" I asked.
"Go ahead. Give me your phone." He demanded. I handed him my phone and he gave me his phone. We exchanged numbers and then he spoke. "Those messages to Jessica. For over 2 years you have been doing this." He shook his head and thrusted my phone back into my hand. I flinched and he got up and took his phone from my hand.
"Andy, you don't understand." I cried.
"Don't understand what? That you're a bully? I thought you were the perfect girl for me. I guess my music hasn't taught everybody something." He walked off and my eyes glistened.
"It's ok Cassidy." Said Ashley while putting his hand on my shoulder. "He's just mad. Believe me, I know how you feel. You feel like nobody understands you. I get that." He said with sympathy.
"You do?" I asked while looking into his eyes. He nodded and I looked off into the distance and saw Andy leaning onto a tree.
"Cassidy?" I turned to face Ashley and I smiled. "Will you go out with me?" He asked. My mouth dropped and I started to shake.
"You hardly know me!" I cried. My eyes were tearing up and he took my hand.
"I already know that I like you. Just one date is all I'm asking. I know you have feelings for Andy but I just want one date." Then I had an amazing idea. How come I never thought of it before?
"Yes, Ashley. One date." I said. He pulled me up and wrapped me in a hug.
"Thank you so much!" He said. "I'll text you tomorrow night." Then he pulled me towards his car to give me a ride home. I turned my head around and saw Andy looking at me in a different way than he did before. I couldn't take it. I turned my head away and left Andy looking hurt against the large oak tree.
