Can you ever forgive me?

Cassidy's POV

Andy was an amazing guy. He's so kind! He listens to me and thinks about me. I feel different when I'm around him.

We pulled into China garden and walked in. "I'll order for you." Andy said.
"Thanks! I'll have rice and the egg drop soup with raspberry tea." I said.

"I love the egg drop soup!" He said. I laughed. We had somethings in common. Egg drop soup, our love for horses, and- cross off the horses. There're okay. So there's only one thing we both like, but that doesn't mean anything. Andy came back 10 minutes later with our food.

"Smells delicious." I said. He sat across from me and I looked into his eyes. I couldn't take my eyes off of him. He caught me staring and I blushed. I looked down at my soup and ate it.

"Staring isn't polite." He said, laughing. I looked up a little and smiled. "What we're you looking at?"

I didn't know what to say. "The hot guy behind you." I said quickly. A man turned around and he was actually pretty hot. Andy laughed and I stared at the other hot guy.

We mostly ate our meal in silence, not knowing what to say. I occasionally looked up at him, and one time I caught him staring. He didn't blush like I did. He just continued to look at me.
"Something on your mind?" I asked him.
"Just a couple of things."
"Need to talk about them? 'Cause staring isn't polite." I said, smiling. He grinned.
"I'm just trying to figure you out." He said.
"What do you mean?" I was curious. What was there to figure out about me? Okay, that an understatement. There were many things he didn't know about me.

"The fact that you were staring at me and then you blame it on another guy." I blushed but he was almost smiling. "And then you still continue to look at me after you almost got busted." He paused to take a drink. "It's just strange. Most people would stop, but it's like you're determined to get one last peek. Why?" I didn't respond for a while.

"Well, I'm different than most people." I ate the last spoon full of my soup and threw the plastic bowl away. Andy did the same. I sat there and now it was my turn to figure him out.

He was staring right back at me.
He wasn't your ordinary singer. I saw him differently, like a person just like me. He was always looking around, trying to figure out other people. He listens to you and always knows what to say, unlike my last boyfriend, Josh. Andy was just.... Perfect.
I stopped looking at him and tapped my finger nails on the table. "You ready?" I asked, glancing at my watch.
"Whenever you're ready to stop trying to figure me out." He said.

"I've already figured you out." I said. We stood up and walked out to the car. No words were spoken, for the silence was enough to comprehend our thoughts.

I liked him. A lot. I just wish I could know what he thought about me.

Andy's pov
I sat there studying Cassidy in China Garden. She continuously looked at me and blushed when I caught her. She blushes a lot. She was different than most girls. The way she lied about staring at me so she could get another peek. The time when she proved to me she wasn't afraid of getting dirty so she rode horses with me. It was cute. We walked out of China Garden and my heart was pounding. "Cassidy." She got into the car before she looked at me.

"Huh?"
I looked her in the eyes and made sure she was listening. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
