Living Dead

"You're sure you're okay?"
"Yes, five guys came to my rescue, took me home and left. They were at the club this morning."
"Woah."
"I know, they seem pretty laid back guys."
"If they didn't do anything funny with you, and took you home, than yeah. They seem so, did you get their names?"
"I did."
"So?"
"It's Ashley.." I pause. "Jake, Jinxx Cc and Andy."
"those names sound familiar." She whispered.
"Well I don't know. Anyway, tonight's gonna be super busy, and my arms are killing me."
"No body told you to be the drink master number two. Don't worry, John's gonna be there with you throughout the night."
"He seems very attractive." I said, admitting.
"Hey, back off. I saw him first." I roll my eyes at her comment. " by the way, I searched those names online."
"AMBROSIA! why would you do that?!"
"Because I told you they sounded familiar." I groan, and sat down on my couch. "they're in a band. A very popular band."
"Cool." I said, not really caring about their careers. "Any more information you have of them?"
"Actually yeah, that CC guy's name is Christian and Jinxx's is Jeremy."
"Sia, maybe they changed their names for public purposes. I feel like I'm invading their privacy."
"it's all over Wikipedia." She said.
"Don't trust Wiki."
"Because of it, I graduated okay? Just because I'm half Asian it doesn't mean I'm smart at everything, Adamara."
"Sure, sure." She chuckles. And don't bite my head off, gosh. Anyway, What else?" She laughs and I can see her shake her head. "The band is called Black Veil Brides.."
"Nalani has a poster of them " I recall. "She's all into them, ever since we were teens."
"Well yeah, they started in 09. They've won 3 KERRANG awards, and some other ones so far."
"Gee, look detective. I don't need so much info."
"Just a background check on these guys. You think you'll see them again?"
"Sia, if they're top rock stars there's no chance." Then there was a knock on my door. "Look, my ordered food just came In. So leave me alone."
"Ouch, but okay. See ya tonight."
"For sure." I hang up and jump on my feet before walking to the door and looked at the small peek hole. My eyes go wide and I lean on the door.
Holy shit.
"Who is it?" I asked. Already knowing the answer, but I needed to make sure.
"Adamara? It's... Uhm.. Its.."
"It's Andy. We met last night." My heart begins to race and I bit my bottom lip. I look at my outfit and rushed to my room to retrieve a random shirt. I look at the shirt and mentally slap myself.
FREAKING LANI!
They knocked once more and I put my hair in a messy bun. I catch my breath and open the door.
"Hey guys." I said, and gave them a small wave. "Enter.. Enter." I open the door wider and the five guys filled my living room. "I thought you were my sushi. I got overly excited." I explained.
"Nice shirt." Ash said.
"It's not mine, it's my best friend's shirt. I guess she forget it here from last week." They shrugged and the awkwardness filled my home. "Want anything to drink?"
"Water?" Jake asked. I nod and went to my kitchen to retrieve a few water bottles.i calmed my heart rate before I went to face them again. I put the waters in the small center table and they all reached for one.
"Soo.. Soo, what brought you guys here?" I asked them. They look at Jinxx and he rubs the back of his head.
"It was my idea on checking you. I mean..."
"That's really sweet guys, thanks. I'm just really sore." I has to admit. My back was killing me, and my legs were bruised in so many places. I shiver at the memory and the door bell rang again. "It must be my food." I skip to the door and just as I thought. I open the door and smiled at the carrier guy. I hand him my money and wave at him as he walks away. I close the door and open the small white container. I smiled, and walked towards the couch, and sat down on the ground. I got the chop sticks and got a roll before putting it in my mouth. I groan as the flavor expanded my mouth.
"Someone enjoys sushi."
"I love sushi. Don't judge me."
"Cali rolls?" Jake asks and I nod. "I like you already." I blush and pop another roll.
"You guys hungry?" I asked them, and as a response, one of their stomachs growled. I giggle and stood up. "No eating my sushi.... You know what, just sit on the kitchen table. I'll make food." They all stood up and went to the kitchen. It was so weird that I had the full band in my house and we were acting like we've known each other since forever. I opened the fridge and got out some unfrozen steak, some tomatoes along with cilantro and onions.
"Need help?"
"I'm good, just sit there...I'll have this done in no time." I turn on the small grill and waited it for it to heat up. I seasoned the meat and put some spray pan on the grill. I put the steak on the grill and immediately got onto chopping the tomatoes tor some spicy pico de gallo. I got a knife and cut the things quickly, and flipped the steak. I put a piece of gum in my mouth before starting to chop the onions.
"You're good at this."
" thanks." I take out a bag of tortillas and chop up the steak as they were getting ready. I put some lemon and salt on the mixture of onion, tomatoes and cilantro, and started to heat up the tortillas. I set out the plates and put four tortillas on each plate, some chopped up meat and then the salsa on top. I gave them each a plate and got my food. They too, a bite.
"This is...." I smiled. "Are you Mexican?" I roll my eyes and shake my head.
"From Guatemala." I said. They all ate their tacos and we all started to drink and talk about ourselves. All in all, we needed up having a good time. I found out that Andy was the same age as me, and I had to admit he was attractive, but to my disadvantage he was taken. By sunset, they were already heading out. It's like they became my best friends in the advantage of a few hours. They all gave me hugs, and put their numbers in my phone. They enter the same Toyota from last night and drove off. I sighed and went up to my room, taking off the shirt they had signed for Lani to keep. the thing that made me go all sad was the fact they were currently touring and Baltimore was just a stop.


This was it, it was going to be the last time I would see them.
