**Hailz’s POV**
“I uh, I…don’t think I have the arm strength to do that…” I said sheepishly as I covered my eyes. I was sitting on Cassidy’s bed with Mikey on my lap and Kate beside me with Cassidy’s Pomeranian, Peach, on her lap. I had made the mistake of asking Cass if she could give me a couple tips regarding my first Valentine’s Day with CC which, according to her, constituted an ‘educational slumber party’ at her house. Not that I haven’t learned anything useful (Like, did you know that holding your left thumb during a blow job can significantly reduce your gag reflex? Well, you do now), but this entire situation was just a bit too awkward for shy little me.
“But you got to admit, this James Deen guy is damn fine.” Kate sighed euphorically as she pet Peach on the head. I side glanced at her and decided that I was definitely the wuss of the group.
“Huh?” said Cassidy as she peered at her laptop screen “Oh! I didn’t mean to play that one, there’s some advanced techniques in that. Here, let me find one of my softer ones…” she continued as she took the laptop and began looking through her files. Note to self: NEVER let your porn star friend show you some of their work!
"You know, it was really nice of you to let me watch your...films and all, but I think I'd rather put on my pajamas and skip to 'cute and girly' part of this slumber party." I said as I moved Mikey off of me then got up and grabbed my overnight bag
"Oh, that reminds me, what are you going to wear for your big evening with Mr. Sexy Rockstar?" Asked Cassidy while she watched me pull out my PJ's, a baggy old t shirt and Supernatural sweatpants.
"For the last time Cass, his name is Sex-Muffin Prince of Darkness!” said Kate with an eye roll
"I still don't get why you guys can't just call him CC." I said as I began walking towards Cassidy's bathroom
"Hold up, what do you think you’re doing with those?" Said Cass disapprovingly as she pointed at my PJ's
"I...was going to...wear them?” I said confusedly as I looked at them
"No. You're not. Come with me. “She said as she stood up, grabbed my arm, and pulled me along to her walk-in closet
"What’s the big deal? It's not like I'm going to wear these for CC on Valentine's Day.” I said as she took my PJ's from me and set them aside
"Yeah, but he's coming in the day before, so, you're going to need something to spend that night with him in as well, aren’t you?" She asked as she pulled a basket full of plastic packages out of the back corner and set it in front of me
"Well, I guess, but I was just going to wear something I already have...What’s all of this stuff anyway?" I asked which made her snort
“Honey, I’ve seen your panty drawer and it’s so boring that it actually makes me cry a little on the inside. And as for these…Well, let’s just say that in my line of work you get a lot of freebies from ‘Adult’ type companies and sometimes the sizing of the free lingerie is really messed up. I can tell if it will fit by looking at it so I usually donate what doesn’t fit to wardrobe department of the studio I work with, but I think I’m going to donate to the “Friends Who Don’t Have Sexy Panties but Need Them Because Their Boyfriends Are Coming to Town for Valentine’s Day” charity instead this year.” She said as she began to look though the basket
“Strange, I’ve never heard of this charity before.” I smirked as she set aside a few sets of lingerie
“It’s new.” She said before she handed me what she had put aside “Now, here you are, go try these on and tell me what you think.” I picked up the item on top and stared at it in horror. Sweet Jesus, how in the everlasting hell am I supposed to put this thing on with all these straps?! God damn, I think I’m going to need a degree in engineering just figure out what this even is! I looked down at the item underneath it and to my dismay it looked just as complicated. “What are you waiting for? Go try ‘em on while I keep looking for other things you can use.” Wait up…OTHER things?! Dear God, this just keeps getting scarier and scarier! I sighed defeatedly and began making my way through her bedroom (where Kate was cooing about how much she shipped Mikey and Peach) to her bathroom and mentally prepared myself to try and get the first piece if strappy bullshit on. This is gunna be a LONG night.
*CC’s POV*
“I don’t know what to do guys, I mean, we just started dating so I don’t want to go too crazy, but I really like her so I don’t want to just get her some rinky dink flowers and chocolate.” I said as I plopped down on the sofa in our rehearsal space. We stopped practicing about forty minutes ago and have pretty much been trying to help each other decipher what our girlfriends/ fiancé/ chick Ash is currently banging want for Valentine’s and figure out what to do on the actual day.
“Well, how about a teddy bear or something? You said she likes cutesy stuff like that, right?” said Andy as he grabbed a coke out of the mini fridge
“Or what about sending her off for a few spa treatments?” suggested Jinxx as he restrung his guitar
“Hmm, the thing is I’m only going to have that one full day with her so I want to spend as much time actually with her as possible and the teddy bear thing seems a bit overdone...” I said as I pressed my fingers against my lips in thought
“Why don’t you just take her shopping and buy her something she really wants?” said Jake as he helped Jinxx. That could work…Although, she did refuse the last time I offered to buy something for her. I don’t think she really wanted to admit it but, I have a feeling she didn’t like the idea of me paying for things because she can’t.
“The teddy bear is actually a pretty good idea, though.” said Ash while he texted his chick of the month “Especially if you win it for her at an arcade or something.” I kinda like that idea. Ash may have the reputation of being the biggest sleaze, but damn, he could be romantic as fuck.
“And when you give it to her you could say it’s so she can have something to cuddle when you can’t be there.” Added Andy. Shit Andy, and you said you didn’t have any game! That’s gold!
“I’m liking the idea of having a ski-ball tournament with her…” I said with a chuckle
“Just remember not to get too competitive, okay? ‘Cause that could make things go downhill really fast.” Advised Jinxx
“Yeah, I know. I’m gunna look up some arcades near the hotel…” I mumbled to myself as I unlocked my phone. Almost immediately, an email notification from United Airlines popped up which I have learned from experience is never a good thing. Aw fuck, how did you fuck up this time?
