**Hailz’s POV**
As CC and I strolled up to the concierge desk, I couldn’t help but smile about meeting those fellow fangirls on the elevator; there was something about meeting other fangirls that always reassured me that at least I wasn’t alone in being a weirdo. Once we were at the desk, waiting for someone to help us, it took CC and I about 0.002 seconds to realize that Andy, Yanni, Jinxx, and his tour manager were still at the desk, standing right next to us, asking if they had anyway of finding out if he was still in the hotel or not. We both looked at each other, struggling to not laugh, and nodded in silent agreement to see how long it would take them to notice us. After a minute of waiting for another concierge to come check him out of his room, Alex came out of the back and sat down at the desk.
“I apologize for the inconvenience, someone thought it would be a good idea to open a jar of sauerkraut in the same room as our morning-sickness stricken concierge. How may I be of assis-” he began, but then looked at us and covered his eyes again “Oh God, I still can’t…” I rolled my eyes and CC snickered. Suddenly Alex moved his hand from eyes, furrowed his brow, looked at Andy and them, looked back at CC, pursed his lips, and cocked an eyebrow at CC. “Wait, aren’t they…” CC quickly pressed his finger over his lips and mouthed that they didn’t know he was right there. Alex chuckled and joined us in our wait. He took an almost stupidly long time checking him out so we could wait, but the longer it took them to notice us the harder it was to keep our cool; CC had to put his head down on the desk at one point because he was so close to losing it. Once he had regained his composure, he handed Alex his phone so he could film our wait.
“God damnit! Where the fuck is CC?!” Andy growled as he brought his fist down on the desk in frustration
“Dude, I’m right here!” he laughed which made all of their heads turn to us so fast I was almost afraid they would break their necks and oh God, I have never seen anyone, let alone a group of people, look so relieved yet so murderous simultaneously
“CC!! Where have you been?! We’ve all been worried sick!” yelled Jinxx as CC, Alex, and I melted into uncontrollable laughter. Jake and Ashley, who I guess had been hanging out nearby, came running up behind us at the sound of Mama Jinxx scolding us.
“What the hell, man!” said Jake
“The fuck have you been?!” asked Ash
“Just what the fuck?” said Andy as they all shouted over each other
“It doesn’t matter!” shouted their tour manager, shutting all of us up. “He’s here now and he’s okay. We’re heading out soon,” He then jabbed his finger into CC’s chest “and your happy ass better be on that bus in twenty minutes or may God have mercy on you!” he growled before storming away. Jesus fucking Christ, he really is terrifying! Andy and the rest of the gang looked at CC the same way kindergartners look at a kid who just got in trouble for a second before crossing their arms and staring him down, clearly expecting an explanation for his shenanigans. He stood and faced them all, looking fairly unaffected, almost as if he was used to it, which made me begin to think that he was more of a troublemaker than he let on. After a good minute of awkward silence, Alex finally spoke.
“Well, uh, this is awkward so, I’m gunna pretend that I have something important to do and go. Oh, and here’s your receipt CC, I hope you enjoyed your stay and…you know…fucking my roommate.” He said as he handed CC his receipt and retreated back to the staff room
“Wait...what did just he say?” asked Jinxx in surprise
“What’s going on? Is she wearing your jacket?” asked Andy as he acknowledged me for the time since CC made his presence known
“And more importantly why,” asked Jake as he leaned in closer to him and took a big sniff “do you smell like a cupcake?”
“CC…what were you doing last night?” asked Ash suspiciously. CC didn’t have to say a word. He simply wrapped his arm around my waist, pulled me close, and let his hand slide up and down my hip, lifting my shirt up a little in the process, while I reciprocated by putting my arm around him, leaning my head against him, and rest my other hand on his chest. He then winked at them which seemed to get the message across very clearly. There was a choir of ‘Oh’s as they relaxed in understanding.
“Well why didn’t you just say so?!” said Yanni
“Dude, you know we can forgive a lot in the name of getting laid! I mean, we put up with Ash holding up the bus because he can’t make up his mind about which girl he wants to take with him!” said Andy
“I know, but it was just so fun to watch you guys freak out about me not letting you into my room.” CC chuckled making Jinxx roll his eyes. Ash then waltzed up to CC and draped his arm around his shoulders.
“You know you’re going to have to tell me how it was, right?” Ash whispered to him as he wagged his eyebrows. My face heated up in an instant. No, no, no. No. No. Hell to the No. NO! JESUS FUCKING CHRIST NO!!I snapped my eyes up to CC’s which were filled with reluctance. Fortunately for us, Jake and Jinxx quickly came to our rescue.
“Hey, man, they’ve got less than twenty minutes left with each other, let them spend it in peace!” said Jake as he grabbed Ash’s arm and pulled him off CC
“B-but, but…” whimpered Ash as Jinxx took hold of his other arm
“You can ask him later, come on.” Said Jinxx as they began leading him away
“Fine.” He grumbled “But I demand details! DETAILS DAMNIT!!” he shouted over his shoulder as Andy and Yanni joined them
“Yeah, sure, whatever.” Responds CC, but before I even have a chance to say anything, he clarified “Don’t worry, baby girl, I plan on being so painfully vague that he gets frustrated and gives up.” Then he lowers his voice as he takes my hand and adds “But you were pretty fantastic, just in case you were curious.” Which made my cheeks grow even warmer. I almost said something along the lines of ‘so, not bad for my second time?’ but, seeing that I figured he could tell that, I decided to be a little flirty instead, I didn’t care if it ended up being more funny than sexy, we were down to our last minutes together for a while, and I wanted to at least try. Challenge accepted.
“I guess you learn a couple things when one of your co-workers is a porn star on the side.” I grinned as we began strolling around the lobby
“Well, feel free to learn as many things as you want from this co-worker of yours.” He said with a devilish grin. Challenge going better than expected.
“Only if you’ll help me study.” I said as I lightly bumped my hip into his. He smiled before he stopped and wrapped both arms around me.
“Look at you, being all sexy and shit. I think I like it.” He chuckled as he kissed my cheek and held me close “Also, I volunteer my services whenever you want to practice.” He whispered in my ear which made me giggle like an anime schoolgirl. CHALLENGE COMPLETED! Achievement unlocked! I gave him a kiss by his chin before we continued our aimless wandering around the lobby, during which Craig and Ronnie stopped us to apologize about the Max incident. CC and I told them that we forgave them and I thanked Ronnie for helping with Kyle last night. However, when Max came over to apologize a few minutes later, CC stayed perfectly silent while I told him that he was forgiven too.
“Come on, people! Let’s get this show on the road!” called CC’s tour manager and I could almost feel my heart snap in half
“I guess you better get going before you get in anymore trouble.” I said sadly as everyone else started migrating towards the hotel’s back exit, but CC refused to let go of my hand
“Walk with me?” he asked as he began to pull me along with him. We walked in silence until we made it to the back where the busses were parked. We looked at each other for a minute while I blinked away the excess water in my eyes. “So, I guess this is see you later.” He said and I barely manage to reply with a small ‘yeah’. “I-I’ll call you when we get to Dallas, alright? And I’ll see how soon I can get back here, okay?” I nod as we give our last hug. “Can I at least get a kiss goodbye?” he says with a smile which makes me giggle “What? That line worked really well for you last-” he begins but I silence him by bringing my lips up to his. I can hear some of the guys clapping for us from the busses as I wrap my arms around his neck and he holds me tight against him. “I oughta go before they decide to tie me to the top of the bus.” He said breathlessly as he pulled away and I reluctantly let him go.
“I’ll see you around.” I said quietly
“See you soon, baby girl.” He said then gave me one last kiss on my forehead and started towards the buses, but when he was just about to climb on board, I realized something.
“Wait, CC! Your jacket!” I shouted as I began to shrug it off my shoulders and he turns around
“Why don’t you keep an eye on that for me, babe?” he shouted back which made my heart leap out of my chest. Suddenly, his tour manager grabbed his shoulder and pulls him on right before the doors shut and the engine started. I waited as all the busses before his pulled out and left to see him waving at me from the back window and with the biggest smile I’ve ever had in my life on my face, I waved back.
