**CC’s POV**
“Leave us alone!” he bellowed at us while she started clawing at his hand
“Oh, we’ll leave alright, right after you let that little girl go.” Said Austin as he crossed his arms. Austin was a pretty cool guy, but damn, he can be fucking terrifying when he wants to be. However, that just made him mad and he squeezed her neck tighter. This dumbass is going to end up killing her! There was no way to take him down without possibly hurting or, at this point, killing her so I decided to try and distract him until there was an opportunity to get her away from her or Andy and Yanni came back with the hotel security.
“Look buddy, why don’t you let go of her neck before you kill her, which would be bad for everybody, I mean, you’d lose your hostage, I’d lose my girlfriend, and there wouldn’t be anything to stop us from throwing you off of this damn building.” I said trying to reason with him while three or four guys snuck around to the other side of him so he couldn’t escape
“YOUR girlfriend?!” he roared “This bitch is MINE!” and pulled her up against his chest, but on the bright side he wasn’t choking her anymore
“Well, seeing how she came here with me WILLINGLY, I’m more inclined to say she’s my girlfriend.” I said sarcastically as I took a step closer
“Stop trying to reason with him, he’s completely irrational!” Hailz shouted as she tried to wriggle out of his grasp “He was convinced in the eighth grade that his math teacher was part of the illuminati because they were learning about triangles!” a couple other guys and I all struggled not to chuckle while some just busted out laughing at him.
“Did I say you could speak?” he growled at her. Oh, how lovely, he’s a psychopath AND a chauvinist, honestly, how is this guy not drowning in women?
“Hey, here’s an idea, why don’t you let her go and ask her who she wants to be wi-“Ash began
“NO!” he screamed as he held onto her more tightly “I won’t let you corrupt her anymore! She’s mine! She was meant for me, I was meant to save her from those who would tempt her from the path that the Lord has set her on!” Holy shit, this guy is beyond insane, he’s fucking bat-shit crazy, like, Dingo-ate-my-baby kind of crazy.
“Are you fucking kidding me?! I need to be saved FROM you, not BY you!” Hailey yelled at him as her escape attempt grew more frantic. She was close to wriggling herself out of his arms and I was braced to run and grab her as soon as she was free. Just before she could break away from him, he threw her against the wall and lifted his hand as if he was about to pimp slap the shit out of her. Aw, hell no! If he touches one fucking hair on her pretty little head, I swear, I just might have to kill a bitch!
“Don’t you fucking dare!” I growled and without a second thought I ran at him just in time to block him from hitting her with my arm. I managed to take one good swing at his face before he grabbed the front of my shirt and lifted me up. Shit shit shit shit shit shit! Not good, NOT GOOD!
“I’ll finish you off in a minute, Incubus!” he snarled as he glared into my eyes. So, I’m the demon here? This is fucking ridiculous! Then, he threw me off to the side, right into Austin, and we both crashed onto the floor, scrapping our palms and elbows on the gravel.
“CC!” Screamed Hailz with so much fear and concern that anyone with a soul could feel it yank on their heart. He (obviously being soulless) wasn’t very pleased with how much more she seemed to care about me than him and he grabbed her by the throat again and whispered something in her ear. I don’t know what the hell he said to her, but it clearly pissed her the hell off. So much so, that she took a swipe at his eyes with her nails which made him release her and, faster that lightning, she grabbed his shoulders and pulled him forward so his face smashed into the wall behind her and his groin flew into her knee. Oh, shit! That hurt to just watch! This elicited a mixture of applause, laughing, and slight groans of pain from us guys as he collapsed onto her and she shoved him to the ground. She was still standing against the wall, huffing and puffing, and looking like she might karate chop the next thing that made a sudden movement or startled her, when someone finally thought it would be nice to help Austin and I up. As soon as I was up she crossed her arms over her chest and stepped over the still groaning shit-bag on the floor and hurriedly staggered over to me on her practically bare feet. Aw man, this gravel must be killing her, poor thing.
I walked towards her, ready to wrap her up in my arms and take her away from here, when she fell down just a few inches out of my reach. Thinking that she’d just tripped, I knelt down to help her up with the beginning of a chuckle on my lips that vanished as she was pulled back by an apish hand around her ankle with a scream. I barely managed to grab her hand as everyone on my side of him rushed over to help me pull her back and everyone on the opposite side dog-piled him and tried to make him release his grip on her ankle. I pulled her up enough to wrap my arms around her chest, just under her boobs, and Austin, Ronnie, and a couple other guys all had at least one hand holding onto me as they pulled too. We were stuck in this tug-of-war-to-the-death match for a few minutes before Ronnie let go and ran up to Shit-head’s (Yes, this is what I’m calling him now) head which was now red as hell with his eyes still watering from when Hailz had kneed his balls into outer space.
“Clear his face!” Ronnie barked urgently. In seconds everyone who had a grip on his hair or ears let go. He said something that sounded like “Here’s one for you, Mitch!” before doing the Lucker Stomp on his face. Mitch would be proud to see that his stomp was being used to help someone. Ronnie received several cheers of approval while Shit-head immediately let go of her to put his hand over his newly obliterated nose which was spouting blood. As soon as I’d helped her up, Hailz began checking my face and head for injuries and frantically asking if I was okay.
“Hailz, I’m okay, I promise, but what about you? I mean, you were the one that got pulled off a bed and dragged out of the room by their hair, forced up here against their will, nearly choked out, crushed, thrown against a wall, and used as a human tug-of-war rope.” I said as I held her close to my chest and she hugged me back tightly.
“Well, I’ve come out far worse off than this after other encounters with him.” she said quietly as her voice started shaking. Wait up, you mean to tell me that he’s pulled this kind of crap before, left her in worse shape, and fucking got away with it? Suddenly, Andy, Yanni, and a couple security guards burst through the door with Ben and a couple other people who were curious about what was going down up here trailing along behind them. You’re not gunna get away so easily this time, fucker! As the guards went to work on getting Shit-head in cuffs and on his feet, he started screeching Hailey’s name which made her burry her face in my chest and squeeze me tighter with a small whimper. I put one hand on the back of her head and gently stroked her hair to calm her down as I glared in his direction.
“Come on, sweetheart, let’s get you out of here.” I said as I scooped her up so her feet wouldn’t have to deal with this gravel anymore and carried her to the stairs.

I actually ended up re-writing a chunk of this yesterday instead of updating because I wanted CC to be a bit more heroic than he was originally :)
