If Heaven were on Earth

Nikki"s POV:

Andy's shouts echo throughout Oli's house, rattling me to the core. I wince at the sheer intensity and volume of his voice and prey to whatever divine being there is that he is not as angry as he sounds.

In a matter of seconds, Andy is here, shoving the door open with such force that I fear he may have dented the dry wall. And suddenly, he has Oli pinned against the wall, a vicious snarl masking his handsome features. I flinch away when he growls out Oli's name, and threatens him.

I shrink away from the scene unravelling before me, and let out a small shriek when he punches Oli. This seems to get Andy's attention, and he drops Oli, who barely looks winded, and turns his focus onto me. He takes slow steps towards me, bit I'm too scared, I can still feel the anger radiating off of him.

I clutch onto my bag and hide my face, preparing my body for the possible impact. But it doesn't come, and when I open my eyes, Andy looks more confused then ever, but fear and concern linger in his blue irises.

"You thought I was going to hurt you?" He asks, voice shaking.

I flinch at his sudden words, and scoot away from him, still unsure of his current state. Andy looks utterly heartbroken as I move away from him, and he reaches for me, but i still cringe when he moves near me.

Oli has taken this chance to intervene, and he steps between Andy and I, blocking Andy from my sights. "Andy, I'm not fucking around right now," he growls, dead serious, "can't you see how scared she is right now? I have to take he to the hospital, and you're really not helping."

I take a shuddering breath and stand, brushing past Oli so I can look clearly into Andy's eyes. Despite the fact that I may have a concussion, one that potentially could be quite severe, I still need to know what he did. It's ripping me a part.

"What did you do?" I whisper, "what was Oli talking about!" I say louder, and it is his turn to flinch.

He sighs and exhales roughly, taking my hands in his, but I shake him off. I keep my stance stable and eyes hard, even though the entire world is spinning. "Tell me," I repeat.

"I just want you to know, that it honestly meant nothing, and isn't a huge deal," my heart shatters even more at his words, but I motion for him to go on.

"I was with a girl, who means nothing to me by the way, because some friends of mine set it up. I guess they didn't know or they forgot that we were dating, that I had a girlfriend, or something. And they wouldn't let me bail, since I had last period with them. Danny even went as far as taking my phone, but I'm really sorry babe, so sorry,' his eyes are pleading with me, and I find myself believing ever word of his tale, true or not.

Oli snorts behind us and steps forward, ignoring the warning look he receives from Andy, "Danny set this up? Fucking bastard."

I shake my head, in no state to function anymore, let alone speak. The world increases its spinning, and before I know it, I'm falling, and am claimed by the ground once again.
