If Heaven were on Earth

Nikki's POV:

My head won't stop pounding. It's a constant ache, vibrating all the way to my outer skull. I cringe as my eyelids flutter open, and I immediately take my head into my hands, rubbing my temples roughly.

"Glad someone's awake," a smug voice says, and he comes into view.

I don't have the energy to speak as the last few hours come crashing down around me, and I curl back into a small ball, pulling my knees to my chest. I bury my head between my knees, stifling the upcoming sobs that wrack my body.

And suddenly, he's there. Oli pulls me to his side and wraps an arm around my shoulder comfortingly, using his warm, strong body as a form of security. I ignore the voice in the back of my head warning me that this is a bad idea, and lean into him, fighting my tears.

Oli runs soothing circles on my back and murmurs comforting words to me, which shocks me but I'm too upset to take it in. I manage to calm my breathing and somewhat stop my tears enough to ask: "wha-what did Andy do?"

He sighs, removing his arms from around me, and I find myself missing his touch. "Shouldn't that be a question for your boyfriend?" He asks, a hint of venom lingering in his words.

I shake my head and try not to burst into tears again, his expression softening and he pulls me back against him. "Where am I?" I ask finally.

"I wanted to take you to the hospital, to check if you had a concussion, which you might by the way. But we're at my house," he explains, and my body tenses at each word.

I slowly nod along to his reasoning, understanding his motives were only pure, "why did you help me?"

He seems stunned by my question, and frowns, before reaching out and stroking my cheek gently. "Because you needed the help."

I smile softly and can't help but lean into his touch. Oli's eyes dart down to my lips before returning back to my eyes, but I caught the brief gaze. I'm confused and tired and I really just want to sleep, so I pretend I didn't just notice how he suddenly is leaning towards me.

The abrupt slamming of a door startles me, but I'm even more shocked by Andy's angry roar as he thunders up the stairs.

So it was Oli who rescued Nikki! Team Oli!!!
just clearing things up, Oli was trying to kiss Nikki, and she is just confused because she has a concussion. She wasn't trying to kiss Oli. And Andy somehow guessed that Oli would take her here.... And cue more drama!
