Chapter 21

[Jessa's POV]

I woke up wrapped up in Jeremy's tight embrace. I could lay like this forever. I looked at the clock and saw that it was nearing noon. I felt his grip on me loosen as he started to wake up and stretch. I rolled over to face him and curl into his side.

"Good morning Jinxxy." I say kissing his cheek.

"Good morning to you too.." He kissed me.

"What shall we do today?"

"How about lunch then sight seeing for a bit? Then we can come back so you can teach CC how to not catch dinner on fire."

"Sounds like a plan. Just the two of us, or all seven?"

"Just the two of us."

"Yes ma'am! Now let's get ready. I'm starving."

[Andy's POV]

I woke up to my text alert going off. Grabbing my phone off the table I checked my texts and the notifications.

The text was from Jinxx letting me know that he's getting Jess out so we can finish her office. I have countless twitter notifications. I just opened twitter as CC and Jake came flying in.

[CC's POV]

"DO NOT LOOK AT THOSE ANDY!" I yelled as I dove for his phone.

"What is wrong with you CC?" Andy asked.

"As your brothers, we have to do this." Jake took the phone.

"What are you two talking about? What's going on?" He was getting worried.

Jake and I sat on the bed. I looked at Jake.

"Jules has posted a bunch of stuff. Downing you and us, and some racy looking pictures of her with some other guy." Jake told him.

"We don't want you to see any of it. You're better off with out her." I told him.

[Andy's POV]

I can't believe this is happening.

"Keep my phone until it stops please Jake. Unfollow and block her." I ran my hands through my hair.

"I don't want to think about this right now. If Jinxx has Jess out, I'll get to work on her surprise."

"No problem man. We've got your back." CC said.

They left the room so I can get ready and we can start on the office. I threw on a pair of ripped up pants and headed down to the kitchen. I grabbed a handful of pretzels and sat down to wait for the others. Riley came down and gave me a huge hug and sympathetic smile. I knew she read it all.

"I'm here if you want to talk, love you." She hugged me again and walked to her office.

Ash wasn't far behind. We exchanged glances as he patted my back on his way through.
Jinxx looked at me and hugged me tight.

"I just saw it. I'm still here for you."

"Thanks man. I know you're the one that will understand the most."

"Don't go farther than where we can reach. It's a hard enough road back, we don't want you to take that road alone. We love you, and don't want you to suffer."

Jess came down and gave me a side hug.

"I love you Androoo! Be strong." She kissed my cheek and they left for the day.

I grabbed a bottle of whiskey and headed up to the loft to help put furniture together.

[Jake's POV]

"Nice of you to bring refreshments Andy. Now grab a screwdriver and help CC with that bookshelf. I'm going to start getting this file cabinet together."

"I fucking hate Ikea. Here Andy, you give these instructions a shot." CC shouted tossing the manual to Andy.

CC took the screwdrivers and started drumming. I immediately got a guitar riff in my head.

"CC, keep going, Andy, toss me a pen. I'm on to something. We'll need Jinxx for the strings and keys at the beginning. We'll put it together a bit when we're done in here. Andy we'll go over lyrics while CC is trying to learn to cook."

They looked at me like I was nuts, but went with it as usual. After I wrote my ideas down, we got back to work. It didn't take long at all once we got the hang of it all. Jessa's office was looking pretty good. I shot Ash a text telling him and Riley to come up. We'd need the help adding the decorations and organizing stuff.

[Ashley's POV]

"Man, you guys worked fast! Where do you want US?"

"Riley, you know how she keeps things at her desk normally. Can you start organizing everything?" Jake asked her.

"Sure. Where did you stash it all?" She asked me.

"In the garage on the far wall, behind Jake's car."

"I'll start pulling in the stuff we had framed." Andy said standing up from behind the desk.

I watched him closely. He looked ok, but sounded a little off. He started for the door and wobbled a bit. After he left the room I looked to Jake and CC.

"How much did he drink?"

Jake looked at the bottle by the door. "Apparently more that we realized. That was pretty full and he brought it in when we started. I had maybe six shots worth while we worked. CC, did you have any?"

CC looked to Jake, then me. "I had about five shots worth, there was a few shots out of it from the other night. He probably had... half a handle."

"We need to let this run it's course, but keep an eye on him." I said.

Andy came back in the room soon after with a box full of pictures we had hidden in his room.
Taking them out one by one, he looked at each one.

[Andy's POV]

"Look how happy we made sissy... Why did that creep hurt her? She's so pretty when she's happy. Look CC, this is from when we were dancing. An.. And this one, is from our sleepover. Who took it?"

[Ashley's POV]

"Andy, slow down. Pick out a few for her desk. Then we'll put them up around the big stuff on the walls." I told him.

We put up her white board and a cork board behind her desk then started on the framed posters and records. By the time we got to that, Andy had told the four of us every little thing about him and Juliette's relationship. She's been treating him like absolute shit for quite some time. I hope we don't loose him like we did Jinxx.

Jake sensed my anxiety and turned to Andy."Why don't you take it out when we're in the studio later? I'll record a take of CC's beat from earlier, then I'll play the guitar part for you, Jinxx and Ash. We'll pour our all into it until dinner is done, or CC burns down the house."

"OH GOD, CC IS COOKING!? WE'RE GOING TO DIE IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!" Andy yelled laughing.

We left Andy laughing in the floor and finished up. Jake placed her name plate on the desk just as we heard the front door opening.

[Jessa's POV]

"CC, time to get to work! Where are you at?"

"Upstairs looking for my phone! Can you come help me?"

"Yeah, give me a second."

I turned to Jeremy. "Thank you for an awesome day Jeremy." I kissed him.

We headed up to help CC look for his phone.

"I swear, you lose your phone more than anyone else I know CC." I shout to him.

I heard Andy giggling his ass off from somewhere up here. Jinxx rolled his eyes and shook his head. We walked into CC's room.

"Where did you have it last?" I asked him.

"Somewhere in the house. Jinxx, toss me your phone so I can call it. Listen for it."

Jeremy tossed him his cell and we went into the hall to listen. I faintly heard Rush's Tom Sawyer from somewhere down the hall. The three of us followed the sound as it kept playing. We made it to the stairs to the loft as it died. CC dialed it one more time to see which direction we needed to go in. The only options were Ash and Riley's room, the guest rooms, or upstairs. The guys headed to Ash's room, I headed up to the loft.

As I reached the top Jake, Ash, Riley and Andy Jumped out, as Jeremy and CC came up behind me. They turned it into a beautiful office space for me. Plenty of room to work, tons of pictures of all of us, posters of the guys.
I started crying.

[Jake's POV]

"Congratulations Ms. Valedictorian! Don't cry!" I told Jess pulling her into a hug.

"Thank you guys! This is amazing! I can't believe you did this!" She said wiping tears away.

"Our new Design and Marketing Director deserves a bad ass office." CC told her.

"My favorite part is your spinny chair!" Andy laughed and spun around.

"Andy, why don't you come with us down to the studio. I don't think Jess wants you to puke in her new office." Ash grabbed his arm and he, CC and Riley led drunk Andy out.

"Thank you!" She said wiping more tears away.

Jinxx wrapped an arm around her.

"You're more than welcome Sissy. You worked so hard on your degrees, only to not be able to walk at graduation. I feel bad."

"Bubby, it's okay. It was safer for all of us that way."

"I'm glad you like it babe. We couldn't figure out what to get you as a graduation present. We figured that this was the best way to go."Jinxx told her as he kissed the top of her head.

"We'll leave you to look around and get comfortable. We'll have CC let you know when he's done and ready for his lesson." I told her.

"Thanks again guys!" She told us and hugged us tight.

We left and went to the studio. I told Jinxx about the song idea and showed him what I had.

"I know exactly what we need to do for the intro. Think Andy's going to be sober enough to write?" He asked?

"I have no clue. He's pretty drunk and hurt, but I think he can do it."

CC walked out as soon as we got to the studio door.

"You should be ready to go. Andy's down there with a notebook and a bottle water. I have no clue if he's writing or doodling though."

I shook my head and grinned. "Cool. Let Jess know when you're ready. We're going to work
on this for a bit."

[CC's POV]

I got cleaned up a bit and yelled to Jessa that I'm good to go when she is and I'd meet her in the kitchen. I really hope this doesn't turn out like the last time I tried to cook. I went down an waited.

"Ready CC? I promise this is going to be easy. I printed out a recipe for you to follow."
I looked it over a few times. "Looks easy enough."

We got everything out we were going to need and got busy.

[Andy's POV]

We were down in the studio for a bit. Jinxx was playing the intro he came up with and everything seemed to be coming together. I got an idea for lyrics and started to scribble them down. The more they played the more our out of my head to the paper. In a matter of minutes I had it.

"Start it over, I think I've got something." The nodded to me.

I came in at just the right point.

"Now our lives have changed, I wish that I could heal
Time has taken love, a darker side revealed
For every lie begins, with what we used to feel..."

By the time I was finished I had tears going down my face.

"I'm calling it a night. I'll tell Jess and CC on my way up. Good night guys."

Ash looked over to me. "That's going to be an amazing song. Good night man."

"Night Andy." Jinxx and Jake called as I went upstairs.

I closed the door behind me and walked to the kitchen. I grabbed another bottle of whiskey before going to my room. "I've had a long day, good night you two."

I went up and shut the door. I stared around the room and opened the bottle. There were reminders of her everywhere. Pictures, clothes, an occasional stuffed animal. I took a long drink and slid down the back of the door. I put the bottle to my lips and let the agony wash over me. After a few minutes I couldn't take sitting in these four walls any more I threw the balcony door open and stepped out into the cool night air.

[Jinxx's POV]

We went up and got the table set and a salad made.

"It smells edible CC. You're already one up from last time, two if you don't ignite anything before it's done." I teased.

"He's actually done everything on his own, just like you did Jinxx." Jess retorted.

She didn't call me Jeremy. I am in trouble. CC stuck his tongue out at me behind her back.

[CC's POV]

The timer went off and I pulled the meatloaf out of the oven. It looked and smelled awesome. I am so going to boast about this on Twitter and Instagram. I took the mashed potatoes and gravy to the table, when I turned around to go get the meatloaf I thought I saw something fall from above the window. Maybe I'm seeing things.

"What the heck is that?" Jake called from the table.

"What was what?" I asked.

"Looked like something falling outside the window."

"I saw it too." Jinxx stated.

I looked to the window again. Sure enough small pieces of paper were floating to the ground. I could hear muffled music from Andy's room. I guess it's him doing it. I feel so bad for him.

"Look, one stuck to the window." Jess said getting up to go look.

"What is it Jess?" Jake implored.

"Half of Jule's face." She said point blank.

"He's pretty upset if he's shredding pictures and throwing them off the balcony." Ash said as a stuffed animal went flying from above.

"Let's eat, one of us will check on him shortly. I don't think anything worse than a stuffed animal or two and some shredded paper is going to hurt the lawn or Andy." Jake said.

"I'll go up with Jess. You guys get dish duty!" I said looking to Jess.

More papers and some clothes came down outside the window as we ate. When Jess and I had finished and took out plates to the kitchen, I grabbed a few bottles of water and some Advil for Andy. Before we could leave the kitchen we all heard a huge thud from outside. I bolted up the stairs with Jake behind me, as Ash and Jinxx bolted for the back yard.

"Girls, stay in the kitchen!"Jinxx yelled as we ran.
