[Riley’s POV]

“Matt, I know Dylan is probably getting locked up, but are we still in danger?” I ask.

“Honestly, there is a chance he can bond out. That’s what I’m afraid of. So we’re keeping you, Jessa, and the guys under lock down. No going outside, even to swim. The rest of the BVB security team just got in, everyone has a guard. I’m assigned to Jess. Logan is my second in command, he’s assigned to you. If anything is needed, one of the security team will get it. Your professors for tomorrow’s finals will be by the house so you don’t miss them.”

“Thank you for being honest with me. I don’t want to be kept in the dark.”

“Just don’t tell Jessa just yet. We want to tell her everything at the right time after you two finish finals.”

I nodded.

[Jake’s POV]

“Sissy, before we go in, can I ask you a question?”

“Jakers, you can ask me anything. I am an open book.”

“How long have you secretly been in love with my best friend?”

“Am I that obvious?” She sighs. “Do you remember when you guys came home for my high
school graduation?”

“That long huh?”

“Yep” She said with a pop to the p.

“I wouldn’t be upset about you dating him. It’s not like you’re in love with either of the resident party boys.” I smiled at her.

“Really?”

“Really, really. I could see it in his face around the same time that he’s in love with you too.”

“He was with that Anna chick though!”

“You can’t always help what the heart wants Jess. I can see it on both your faces. I know Jinxx will be whatever you need him to be. Right now, he’s your protector and friend. I know deep down though, that eventually his role will be best friend and love.”

“When did my big brother get to be so wise?”

“It tends to happen when you go through a bunch of shit relationships. I just figured I’d save you a little time and heartbreak. Do you still love Dylan?”

“Even though I just split from Dyl, I know in my heart that there hasn’t been love between us for a long time. Mentally I am over him. He made me cry for the last time yesterday. Even though there wasn’t any love there for so long there was still trust. I felt that trust betrayed. I just didn’t know how to break it off without things getting worse. I wish I had been brave enough to end it when the violence started. I just didn’t know how to. I looked back and see, that he never really loved me, just what I could do for him, where I could get him in life. I love you Jake, thank you for helping me see things clearly.”

We pulled in the garage and got out once the garage door closed.
[Jinxx’s POV]

I ran through the kitchen as soon as I heard the garage door open. When Jess walked in she threw her bag down and ran into my arms again, tucking her head under my chin. She fit there, like a perfect puzzle piece. I put a hand on the back of her head, the other at the small of her back and just breathed her in while we stood there.

“I was so scared something happened to you.” I whispered.

“I thought I was going to be kidnapped or hurt, or that he’d do something to one of you guys.” She said shaking.

I pulled away a bit and tilted her chin up so she’d look at me.

“Nothing will happen to you as long as the guys and I are around. I promise you.”

I suddenly felt her go rigid in my arms. Did I say something wrong?

[Jessa’s POV]

As soon as he made his declaration, I steeled my nerves and went for it. I stood on my toes and wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him down into a kiss. I could tell I completely stunned him. He stood still for a few seconds. After that I could feel him relax and his arms snaked around my waist to pull me closer to him. The kiss began to soften. Our unspoken feelings for one another were palpable. It was filled with years’ worth of passion and longing. My finger began to tangle in his long black hair as the kiss deepened.
As quickly as it started it ended. We stood in the middle of the kitchen together still locked in a tight embrace. Nose to nose, foreheads touching, smiling at the other.

[Jinxx’s POV]

“Jessa, I’ve been dying to tell you for the longest time how I felt about you. I know you just came out of one hell of a relationship, but when you feel ready, I would like to see where this goes. We’ll take things at whatever pace you decide.”

“I knew I had feelings for you when you guys came to my high school graduation. I know exactly where this relationship will go. I’ve wanted to be yours since that day... Jake and I were actually talking about this before we pulled in. He’s already said he’s okay with it.”

“Will you officially be my Jessa Mattisyn Pitts?”

“I’d love nothing more Jeremy.”

I felt like the luckiest man in the world right now! I kissed her gently and took her hands.

“I do believe I have promises to fulfill. You have another one of my shirts and some shorts on the bed, you grab your snacks, and I’ll go run the bath for you.”

“You’re too good to me.”

“No. I treat you like you should be treated. I’m just sorry that you never were before now.”
I kissed her once more and I headed upstairs.

[CC’s POV]

I went to find Jess when I didn’t see her come in with Jake and the others. I walked into the kitchen at just the right point to see her throw her arms around Jinxx and kiss him. I thought quickly and took a secret picture and walked off. I watched Jinxx walk upstairs and made a bee line back to the kitchen to find Jess.

“Mind explaining this?” I asked her handing her my phone with the picture on it.

“Looks like a lady, kissing’ on her fella.”

“Seriously? It’s about time you two made it official. You’ve both been pining over the other for years!”

“I was a little too obvious I take it?” She asked taking the rest of her cake out of the fridge.

“Yes little mama it was. I am happy for you two!"

"Thanks CC." She smiled and hugged me.


"To be honest, I am so glad you’re doing this well when you’ve been handed this big of a challenge. You’re a strong woman, and can overcome anything you set your mind to. If you don’t think you can on your own, lean on Jinxx and the rest of us. We’ll make sure to get you through. We all love you.”

“Aw, Christian! You’re going to make me cry.”

I hugged her so tight.

“What’s with you and Jake going all Mr. Miyagi on me today?”

We talked and laughed together for a little while longer.

“I’m going to get upstairs. There is a hot bath waiting for me and comfy clothes with my name on them. What do you say to movies and video games all day tomorrow?”

“The Xbox and most of the movies are packed, but I saw a karaoke get up in the garage.
What about throwing a little lockdown shindig after your last final tomorrow?”

“Send out for more liquor!”

“Liquor? I hardly know her! Who do you think I am Purdy Porn?”

We both died laughing at my bad joke as she walked up to her room.

[Ashley’s POV]

“I heard that CC!” I yell across the living room.

“It was funny Ash, laugh!” He retorted.

“What’s so funny?” Andy asked.

“It’s not funny if you have to repeat it. Knowing those two, the joke will be made again.”

[Jessa’s POV]

I walk into the room I share with Jeremy and hear the water running in the tub. I walk into the bathroom as he’s shutting off the water. He’s managed to turn the bathroom into a mini spa. There are lavender candles burning all around, the lights are dimmed, and there is a violin softly playing on a small speaker. He really is the sweetest guy I know to do this for me.

“Jeremy, this is amazing! Thank you.”

I reach my arms around his neck and give him a soft kiss.

“Anything for you love.” He says while pressing his lips to mine once more before walking out.

I undress and sink into the tub. He even put lavender oil in my bath water. I’m in heaven! I spend my time clearing my mind of anything negative that’s been going on and focus on the future. I can’t wait to get out to LA with everyone. Where to get a job at though. Riley will be working on Ashley’s clothing line. Maybe I can work for him or the guys doing design or marketing work. I just got my family together, I don’t want to be separated from any of them. We kind of complete each other in one way or another.

I decide to close my eyes and listen to the music being played. The song that was on came to a close, and a very familiar one started. As I listened, I realized it was Overture. I’m willing to bet everything I own that all of this music was Jeremy playing. I lost myself in the sounds for what seemed like hours. I realized a while later that the water was icy. I guess I had been in here a while. I got out, dried off and wrapped up in a fluffy black robe that was left for me. I noticed the BVB logo on the back with The Mystic embroidered above it. It swallowed me, but was so warm and smelled like Jeremy. There was an Ouija tank top and pair of black basketball shorts and a pair of fuzzy slippers on the bed. I quickly dressed and put the slippers on, followed by the robe, and set out to find my man.

He was downstairs with the other band members at the table.

[Jinxx’s POV]

I looked up from talking to the guys about the move and saw Jess coming through the living room in my robe. I loved how she looked in my clothes. As she came closer to me I pushed my chair back and held my arms out to her. She gladly sat on my lap and wrapped her arms around my shoulders. She smelled amazing.

“Thank you for my mini spa up there. I loved your music by the way.”

I blushed. “You’re quite welcome, I’m glad you enjoyed it. Do you want some lunch?
Someone made chicken salad with the leftover chicken from last night.”

“Sure. It sounds really good.”

I stick some bread in the toaster and get the container and some lettuce out of the fridge. I made her sandwich and took it to her with a glass of juice after putting everything else away.

“Jeremy would you mind helping me study when I’m finished? I don’t quite feel prepared for tomorrow.”

“What subjects?”

“Biology and English Literature. I’m not horrible in either subject, but I’m not great at them either.”

“You’re in luck. I aced both when I took them.”

“Is there anything you can’t do?”

“Scream like Andy.”

“Please don’t.”

“What’s wrong with my screaming?” Andy looked to Jessa with a fake hurt look on his face.

“You do it when I don’t expect it and scare the bejeesus out of me! I almost cried last time.” She shouted at Andy.

Jake looked to both of them, “Children, behave!”

[Riley’s POV]

Since we got back home I got a shower and some lunch, and was now invading the coffee table with my books for Math and World History. I wonder if I can pay off my professors to get out of the finals. Probably not.

“Hey CC, can you help me with my math? I think I’m going to go insane from it.”

“Sure. You get set up, I’ll give you an hour. Then I start quizzing.”

“Jessa, do you still have your World History notes on your laptop? I’m going to need them!” I yell upstairs.

“Yep. Do you want it in drop box or printed?”

“Both please!” I called.

[Andy’s POV]

Jessa and Riley have just gone off to study for their last finals, I looked to everyone at the table.

“When do you guys want to have the meeting?” I asked.

“I’m going up to help Jess in an hour, and CC is helping Riley then too. We should probably
do it now while the girls are prepping together and we’re all here.” Jinxx responded.

“Matt, Logan… let’s do this. Remember we’ve got to keep it down.” I whispered.

[Matt’s POV]

“We’ve already gone over what happened, but not some of the details. I didn’t want the girls to freak out. When Dylan came after Jess earlier he had some stuff on him that gave me cause to worry. Zip ties, a bandana, a hammer, a thing of pepper spray, and a lighter.”

“What the fuck?” Ash whispered

“We think he was going to try and kidnap either one of the girls. Riley to get to Jess if he couldn’t get Jessa.” Logan stated matter of fact.

“He was throwing things at us as we ran the girls to the car. Riley’s car is going to need body work and a paint job. Once he figured out Jessa was in it, he turned his focus there. When he ran out of stuff to throw, he went at it with the hammer.” Jake added.

I looked to everyone, “I want everyone on full alert. Even if the douche canoe ends up in jail. The detective it now adding two counts of attempted kidnapping to the list of charges.”
We talked for another half hour or so and broke it up before the girls came back down and overheard us.

[Jessa’s POV]

“Here’s the printed copy of the notes and my study guide Riles. You should be able to ace the test with this.”

“Thanks Sissy. I just want to graduate and get to LA! By the way, Andy said we’ll see that he is fun when this storm clears and we’re in LA.”

“He just can’t think of things to do when grounded.” I laughed.

“Dude, we should show them all how to have some fun when grounded.” She had a look of mischief in her eyes.

“Oh I think we should. Let’s start early on it.” I said.

“Security is going to hate us.”

We started giggling so hard I was snorting and of course that’s when Jinxx and CC came in.

“I think they’ve finally cracked under all the pressure from school Jinxx.”

“No, I think they’ve depleted the stash of Monsters. Look on the desk.”

“Holy crap! I can’t even drink that many in one day!” CC yelled.

I looked behind us, there was probably four or so empty cans, and Riley and I just opened another one each.

“You two are going to be awake all night.” Jinxx looked at me worriedly.

“Riley, we should have a rave in the living room later!”

“OOOOOHHHHH!!!! YEEEEESSSSSSS!” She said bouncing in her seat a bit.

Jeremy looked to CC. “Alright, we’ve got to separate them if they’re going to get any studying accomplished.”

CC handed Riley her papers and threw her over his shoulder, marching her down to the living room.

“WE CAN BEHAVE!” Riley giggled “I SWEAR! PUT ME DOWN CHRISTIAN!!”

“You two are spoil sports.” I stuck my tongue out at Jeremy.

“You better put that away unless you plan on using it.” He threatened.

“That can be arranged…” I mumbled under my breath.

“What was that?” He asked.

I shivered from his words and got an idea. “Let’s make a game out of studying. Every question you ask and I get correct, you owe me a kiss.”

“Okay. If you get more than five wrong, I sleep in the recliner over there.” He retorted.
Little does he know, I’ve been using Riley’s study guide she made for these classes, when she was the teacher’s assistant.

[Jinxx’s POV]

It was nearly impossible to get a wired Jess to sit still while I quizzed her. She knew it better than she thought. I gave her a small kiss for every correct answer as promised. I just needed her to calm down a bit. As we went through the next set of questions, I decided to use a bit of tongue and make the kisses last a little longer. It seemed to be working with getting her to calm down.

We were on the last three questions, she was good to go on this. I leaned over to her and wove my fingers into her long red hair, and pulled her tight against me. I kissed her with all of my heart pouring into it, slowly pulling her up and over to the bed. Never breaking the kiss as we went. I lifted her onto the bed and laid beside her. Still kissing, she went from next to me to on top of me. I felt her shift and throw my robe off of her, then felt her get even closer to me. God! This is killing me to hold back! I stop kissing her and pull back a bit.

“Um Jess, I really do enjoy making out with you, but I don’t want you to feel rushed into anything.”

“What? You’re not rushing me into anything Jeremy. I want to make out with you.” She said kissing me again.

She was oblivious to what I said and why I was holding her above me. I shifted a bit so she could feel what I was talking about.

“Oh, that’s what you mean.”

We both blushed a little.

“Yeah, sorry. I just can’t keep it from happening while we were ending your study game.”

“I’m sorry to make you um, uncomfortable.”

“I’m the one that should be sorry, I can’t control it right now.” I said with a sigh.

Jessa smiled at me and leaned in for another light kiss. Sparks flew as Jessa shifted her weight so her hips were pressing against my hard dick as she leaned forward to kiss me. I try to stop her but I can’t get her to.
