Me and Ashley scoot back a little as a pair of wolves come growling towards us. Roxanne just smiles and they walk up to her, nuzzling against her frail scarred legs. She flinches and the wolves immdetiately become gentlier. Standing 4 feet at the shoulders, teeth like razors and eyes that could kill. Ashley gulps as the black one wanders over to him, gray eyes boaring into his.
"Oh Fluffy, come on." Roxanne chuckles and wolf bows, before licking Ashley's hand softly. He almost screams and I nod at him before taking my position back beside Roxanne and helping her inside. She moans softly, climbing the stairs. It has to be killing her. I swoop my arms under her legs and pick her up gently. She groans again, shutting her eyes tight. Ashley follows behind, shutting the door.
"Up the stairs, last door in the hallway." Taylor says, swinging the bat bags over her small broad shoulders. I nod before climbing the flight with Roxanne carefully cradled in my arms. The wolves following protectively behind and Ashley behind them.
"Thanks Andy, but you really didnt need to stay. I'm nothing." She whispers as I lay her on her bed, both the wolves curling around her. I wave Ashley out and he goes to call the guys and give them the address. We arent leaving her now. How could we?
"Sweetheart you aren't nothing. Look." I say pulling out my phone, opening one of her thousands of fan pages. Then a letter a little 10 year old outcast wrote.
"Dear Roxanne,
You live up to your nick name. Rox Star. You are one. In everything you do. Softball and your band. Which I think is amazing by the way. You've become my role model, my saviour. I know how hard your life must be, being the first goth stereotype to go so far on her own. All my love... Jessica." I read it to her and she almost starts sobbing, her fingers finding there way to the wolves' heads. Gently rubbing circles and scratching behind their ears. Her king sized bed looks dwarfed with them.
"Andy can you do something for me?" She asks quietly and I nod slowly.
"Go into my closet and take the black box out... it will explain everything I cant..." She whispers sliding down in the bed and I nod, she's so beautiful what the hell could she think is wrong with her? Andy shut up am I falling for her? I cant be.. no... Shit... I make my way into the closet and pull out a box, within it is 15 journals. All blood red, with blood and tear stains on the outside. My heart catches in my throat, what has she gone through? I walk out and slink down onto the ground by the head of her bed, her sleeping breathes slowly snaking their way through my body. I smile lightly before turning back to the box at hand. Sparkles climbs off the bed and lays her silver head in my lap, yellow eyes shinning up at me. I smile and rub her head before opening the first journal and letting tears run freely...
Girl has been hurt way to much. I vow that I will protect her at the cost of anything. Even if she doesnt love me I wont let anyone else hurt her.
