On stage

Andy’s POV:

We are taking Naomi home today, she was prescribed several medications, and still won’t make eye contact, or say a word to anyone, she just stares off into space, I feel like the worst parent in the world, I don’t know how to help her, I just want to fix this, I want to fix her, I’ve always been the one she comes to for everything, she’s always told me her problems, she relies on me to pick her up when she falls, and I just don’t know how this time, my sweet angel, so broken, so distant, I feel like she’s crying out for help, but I just don’t know what to do!
I was pulled from my thoughts by Naomi wiping a tear from my face, and for a brief second, she looked into my eyes, I felt her pain, I felt the pain of every wound on her body, and in her mind, then she looked away, becoming distant and inn her own little world again.
I pulled into the driveway, and got out of the car, I grabbed her bag, and then helped her out of the car, I carried her up the stairs, and into her room, I laid her down on her bed, kissed her forehead, and turned to walk away, then I heard a faint ”I love you dad” I walked back over to her and kissed her cheek,
“I love you too angel” I said, engulfing her inn a hug,
“get some rest sweetheart” I said, before leaving her room.
I walked into the livingroom with a faint smile on my face,
“what happened?” em asked
“she talked, briefly” I said with a smile, everyone lit up and said ‘that’s great’ and emmaliee hugged me,
“what did she say?” Ricky asked
“she told me she loved me, I hugged her and told her I love her too, and to get some rest” I explained, almost as excited as when she said her first words as a baby,
“that’s great man” vic said, giving me a pat on the back.
**A FEW HOURS LATER**
I blinked my eyes open, and saw everyone sleeping, then I heard some noises in the kitchen, I figured it was emmaliee, considering she was the only one not in here, I walked into the kitchen, and saw Naomi sitting in emmaliee lap, they weren’t talking, just hugging, I walked up and Naomi looked up at me and smiled, as well as em,
“hi daddy” Naomi said, in normal tone, a little raspy, but better than barely audible,
“hi angel” I said, hugging her and emmaliee,
“can you order pizza?” she asked,
“sure sweetheart” I replied, with the biggest smile on my face, I ordered pizza, and seeing as there was over 2 dozen grown men in my house, I ordered a lot, also considering no one had eaten since the day she was taken, the pizza arrived, it was well over $100, so I gave him two hundred dollar bills and told him to keep the change, I woke all the guys up, and they were surprised to see Naomi eating, or even looking at them, they all just stood there watching her, she gave them a warm smile, and waved, they just waved back, and went to eating,
“hey rick?” Naomi said,
“yes honeybun?” he answered,
“Spiderman?” she asked,
“Spiderman.” He said with a smile, when one of them was sad, or going thru something, they would cuddle up on the couch and watch Spiderman, while they talk about their problems, they have been doing it since she was seven, every time they went thru a breakup, or someone died, or anything sad, they would just lay there and cry together and talk while Spiderman played in the background, it was cute really,
“awe, the happy couple is back at it” emmaliee said, we have always joked that one day they were going to get married, but Ricky would be old and wrinkle, while Naomi was young and beautiful, it was a joke of course, but they did act like a couple, not on purpose, they were just the best of friends, one time emmaliee made the joke, ‘why don’t you just propose already’ and he bought a ring pop and got down on one knee and asked her to ‘marry him’ she was 12 I believe, and they made toilet paper bouquets, and veil, and laughed about it, I still have the pictures.

Ricky’s POV:

We finished our pizza, then went into the living room, I put the movie in, and laid down on the couch, and patted the spot in front of me, she laid down, and stared into my eyes,
“what’s on your mind honeybun?” I asked
“what’s not” she said with a sigh,
“talk to me about it” I said,
“well, I think I need to talk to the police about what happened, I just don’t know what to say” she said,
“well I’m sure we can figure it out Hun” I sad
“okay, I’m gonna tell you some stuff, but it’s very upsetting, so please don’t cry, cause whenever you cry, I cry, and crying is for the weak” she said with a giggle, I just nodded in response.
“well, I went to open the door, thinking it was Lexi coming over to get ready for the game, when I opened it, some guy put a washcloth over my mouth and that’s all I remember, till I woke up in a trunk, the tag that you pull to open it was gone, so I kicked out the headlights, there were only like 2 cars, but they were pretty far away, but I stuck my arm out and waved it around anyways, and then we turned off onto a dirt road, we went down the road for about 10 minutes, then we stoppedand I heard many doors slam, then the truck opened to about 9 men standing around, one picked me up, and another held my feet, while another held my arms, I didn’t see much, but it was a small house, and as soon as they took me in, they tied my arms and my legs up to posts, then they all took turns, beating and raping me, for two days straight it never stopped, then finally, they stopped, after about 20 minutes, someone came in and poured liquid in my mouth, then held my mouth and nose till I swallowed it, and I woke up in front of the house, I screamed help as loud as I could, but no one could hear me, and then I guess I was in shock, I couldn’t talk to anyone, but after I woke up a few hours ago, I felt better, so I decided to go in the kitchen and get some water and I found mom, with her head down on the table crying, so I slid my legs on hers and she instantly sat up, so I sat the rest of the way on her lap, and just hugged her, then dad came in, I asked for pizza, and now we are here.”
“I’m so sorry honeybun!” I said, I can’t imagine how she must have felt,
“I started to give up home you know” she said,
“why would you do that?” I asked, shocked she even said that because she’s so strong willed,
“I thought no one was coming to save me”
“Hun, we drove around looking for you almost the whole time, and so did the cops, we tried our best to find you, luckily they brought you back, if I would have seen those bastards, so help me, I would have murdered them” I said,
We heard someone walking in,
“hey! You know the rules, no interrupting Spiderman time!!” Naomi screamed, they just laughed and walked back out, I looked up and the credits were rolling by, the movie had finished, another rule of Spiderman time, we don’t stay for longer than the movie, so we both got up and hugged for a minute,
“hey kiddo?” I asked
“yes adulto” she answered
“if you want, I can go with you to talk to the cops?” I told/asked her,
“I would like that, but I’m not ready yet” she replied,
“I understand”
Emmaliee’s POV:
“hey Naomi” I screamed as I crabbed my keys and my purse, Andy standing by my side,
“yes mom” she said, walking up,
“I want to take you somewhere” I said, as Andy grabbed the keys,
“I’ll drive” he said, Naomi laughed, god it was good to hear her laugh again,
We headed out to the car and drove for maybe two minutes, and came to a stop,
“mom, what are we doing at some old studio” she asked,
“come on, in we go” I said, we walked up, I unlocked the doors, and walked in, turning all the lights on my way, I still had a lady come clean it every once in a while, so it wasn’t in bad shape,
“why are we here? This is like the beginning of every horror movie where the girl gets killed” she said, I just laughed,
“I used to be a gymnast, I almost went to the Olympics” I told her,
“and what happened, why didn’t you?” she asked,
“well, I trained in this gym every day since I was 4, my dad died when I was 16 and there was no one else, no mom, no other family, so everything went to me, and I bought this place, but I never came back, until I met your dad” I smiled, grabbing his hand, he kissed my forehead and I continued,
“I don’t think I ever told you how we met” I said,
“you didn’t, but you should” she said, by now we were sitting on the floor, and the guys were starting to arrive,
“she broke into our venue when we were playing a show here” Andy said,
“I did not break in, I simply climbed the fence, and the door was propped open with a shoe” I defended,
“anyways, me and Nonie snuck into the venue, but we got lost, we finally ended up at the bvb dressing room, and I knocked, he opened the door with the most evil look on his face, and then said, ‘can I help you’ like a complete dick, I was at a loss for words, I was so mesmerized, that the person I looked up to the most, was staring at me, with those brilliant blue eyes, then he said, ‘if you want in here you better hurry before security sees you’”
“it truly was love at first sight, because as soon as I saw your mother, I knew I was going to have her forever” Andy interrupted,
“but I was stubborn as hell, I believed that you couldn’t possibly love someone you had just met, but I did want to get to know him, I wanted to spend time with him, so after the concert we all went to my house, Nonie and Jake were in the back seat, and me and Andy in the front, I had a gorgeous white convertible top mustang, but only so many people could fit, so ash, cc, and jinx, got a taxi, I pulled into the driveway, then realized I needed cigarettes, so I turned around and went to the convenient store, on my way a man hit me, and I thought I knew him, but he ran, funny story, when he hit me, I opened my eyes, and this wonderful rock star was straddling me, he had jumped on me so I wouldn’t get hurt, anyways, we got out of the car, and I heard the sirens coming, and I passed out, luckily your father caught me, I woke up in the back of the ambulance, no idea where or who I was, but they took mehome, and I went to sleep I woke up to Andy singing done for you, and everything came back to me, I sat up and the first thing I heard was ‘please remember’ I said remember what, cause I didn’t know what he was talking about, and he started crying, then I told him, ‘oh Andy, I remember everything, and he turned bright red, I laughed and mocked about him ‘confessing his love for me’ a few days later we went out to a restaurant and I saw my step dad, and I had a panic attack, then Andy took me to his car and we started driving home, but he was following us, so Andy called the cops, and they said that he was a deportation officer, and I was going to be deported back to Cuba, and your father told them we were getting married, I didn’t know it at the time, cause I was passed out, but the next day he told me, then actually proposed like a gentleman, we went to somewhere, I can’t remember where, but it was a really nice hotel, and we were going shopping for the wedding, I finally found the perfect tuxes for the guys when I ran to the bathroom, and started throwing up, and that’s when I realized, there was a little you in my tummy, well, I realized it after I took the 12 tests your father bought and they were all positive” I said, by now I was crying,
“why are you crying mom?”
“because we never told you, but not long after I had you I was diagnosed with brain cancer, I was sure I would die from it, that is the way my grandma died, but I didn’t, I survived” I said,
“that’s great mom, you survived!” Naomi said,
“yes, but there’s always a chance of it coming back” I said, by now everyone was crying,
“hey mom?”
“yes Hun?”
“I knew you had cancer, I saw your Bryan stars interview, I also saw the one where you went into labor, and where I was a newborn” she said, I just laughed,
“we’ve spent enough time here, let’s go home” Andy said, as this place was depressing for him too, seeing as we thought I would spend some of my last days here, but nonetheless, we have all pulled thru, we all made it, and I’m happy.
