Let Shadows Die

Hope watched as Andy was forced to change on the stage in front of everyone. She was afraid but at the same time she had a feeling everything would be ok. She didn't know how everything could be ok when it seemed they were all going to die and now everyone here knew their secret. But her feelings were never wrong.

She also didn't know why they hadn't forced her to change as well unless they didn't know she wasn't human. If that was the case, she could use it to their advantage.

By now Andy, Jake, and Ashley had completed the change. There were a few gasps from the crowd and then it was silent.

"You see," the leader said. "Your heros are abominations. Not even human. They shouldn't even exist. But don't worry, now that you know the truth about them, we can destroy them."

He turned to Andy and raised his weapon but before he could fire someone in the audience yelled. "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TO JUDGE."This was followed by a chorus of agreement. "We won't let you do this." someone else yelled. Again there was a chorus of agreement.

Then all hell broke loose. Some members of the crowd stormed the stage while others attacked the hunters in the audience. The leader of the men seemed as if he didn't know where to point his weapon. None of them did.

The man holding Hope loosened his hold and she made her move. She used her strength to flip him forward over her shoulder. Then she turned and quickly grabbed the man holding Sammi. Once she freed Sammi they both attacked the guy holding Ella.

By now the whole BVB army had subdued the other hunters. Andy rushed up to Hope and pulled her close for a moment. As they stood there a few of the army members came up to them. "You guys should probably get out of here. The police are on the way and I'm sure you don't wanna be here when they arrive."

Even though Andy was stilled wolfed out they obviously weren't afraid of him or the others since Hope could see others talking to the rest of the guys.
"Thank you." Andy said sincerely.
"No problem. You guys have saved so many lives. We don't care if you're different. We already have a story ready for when the police get here. You guys should go. Don't worry the army has your back."

There was a chorus of "BVB army for life."

"We'll repay you guys for this later." Andy yelled as they ran out of the venue.
