Hollywood Bridge

Ashley had beckoned Cathy from the stage. She smiled and another girl replaced her, her slim legs wrapping around the pole with acrobatic precision. Ashley was immediately mesmerized by the new girl's "dancing" and pulled out his wallet.
Cathy chewed gum sexily whilst she spoke. "So whatcha want? Private dance?" Her confidence had grown massively since we last met, but so had mine.
"A conversation." I smirked. She looked taken aback, but got over it swiftly.
"Hmmm. I don't know what that would cost. How about we settle this in a private room?"
So that was where we went.

I always thought the rooms were used for illegal prostitution or something, but one look around and I could see that that was NOT the intended use. The rooms were small, more like spacious restaurant booths than rooms actually; with a small locked drinks cabinet in one corner, a coffee table and a sofa.
We sat.
"So what did you want to talk about?"
"Anything. I just want to hear you speak." I whispered.

I left the club three hours later when Jake came to get us. Once again, it was a hassle to get Ashley to the car.
Jake smiled over at me. "Did you two bachelors have fun?"
"Well I definitely did! That new Maya girl is awesome!"
"I had fun too, just in a different way. I ended up having a philosophical debate with Cathy."
Ash scoffed. "Yeah a 'philosophical debate'! Did it require clothes?"
"Yes Ashley, it did."
"You're no fun!" he murmured as he fell asleep against the window.
"You seem to quite like Cathy." Jake observed.
"Yeah."
"Ask her out!" he said like it was simple, but he didn't have social anxiety.
Ash chimed in. "Ask her out or I ask her out for you."
That settled it. I would message her and invite her to my birthday party next week.
But was dating a stripper really the best idea?

OKAY, THIS STORY IS ALREADY LONGER THAN I WANTED SO THINGS ARE GONNA MOVE QUICKLY FROM HERE!
And as you probably guessed, I have no clue what inside a strip club is supposed to look like as I've never entered one for obvious reasons. I'm basically going on movies here.
I also don't really know much about what it's like for Ryan being bi. If you think I haven't quite captured his emotions, then please comment. :)
