Hollywood Bridge

Her bare legs were wrapped around my waist and i could feel her chest pressing against my back. She was so warm all the time, unlike me - I am perpetually cold.
She untangled herself enough so I was able to turn to face her. She wrapped herself around me again.
"Morning." I mumbled against her mouth as I kissed her.
"Good morning." she whispered.
"What time is it?"
"2 PM!"
A Skype call came through from Ashley's account. I declined the call. Another one after 10 minutes. Declined. Another after 5 minutes. F*ck off Ash!~ I thought.
We were down now to 30 seconds between calls. God damn it, Ashley! Have you no patience?
"I have to answer don't I? otherwise he just won't stop it." I rolled to face my laptop and accepted the call.
"FINALLY! I was worried I was going to get a call saying you two had been found murdered in your hotel or something! Why didn't you answer me!?" He said without so much as a 'Hi, Ryan! How are you today?' I loved Ash, but he could be a complete idiot at times.
"Um, Ashley I think it's a bit obvious why I DIDN'T VIDEO CALL you, considering I'm on vacation in the Bahamas with my FIANCE!"
"OH!" It dawned on him. "DAMN! Ryan has GAME!"
"Yes, that he does, and it was a pleasant experience and that is ALL THE DETAILS YOU GET ASHLEY!" Cathy chipped in "Now, please turn Ashley off so I can get dressed!"
"Oh, trust me sweetie, Ryan already turned me off by showing off his scrawny stomach." he teased. I used to get annoyed when he said those kind of things, but after 9 months, he does grow on you a bit.
"Good-bye Ashley!" I laughed.

We spent the next four days chilling on the beach, swimming, laughing and just generally being in love. And it truly was paradise, but being back home was the best.
Ashley, of course had his priorities right, his first question being "Did you bring me back a hot girl from the Bahamas?", And Jake's being "How did it go? Did you have fun and decide on wedding details?"
Ashley's second question was of course "So what is Cathy like in bed?" I reminded him that that was my fiance he was talking about, then told him what he wanted anyway. I couldn't help but wonder if girls spoke about their lovers like this, so openly with their friends.
Ash listened attentively and begged for details whilst Jake gave the whole "So long as you two are happy it doesn't matter - speech."
Ashley was far more of a friend and confidant, wheres Jake was like a father.
I gave Cathy a call and she agreed.
I stepped out of my room at Ashley's (I had moved out of Jake's 5 months ago because i wasn't comfortable with him and Ella there, but God-knows I would never tell them that was the true reason.) and walked into the kitchen, smiling at the counter where we had our first kiss.
"Hey, Jake, so since Cathy has no family and neither do I, would you be willing to walk her down the aisle for me?"
He dropped the glass he was drinking lemonade from. Ashley flinched and grabbed a brush, never taking his eyes from us two.
"I'd be honored." He finally stuttered.
"And, Ashley, I'd like you as my best man. If that is, You will be?"

Notes

Another filler chapter . i wanted you to learn more about Cathy and Ryan. (Like how they have been together for 6 months, in case you didn't catch that.)
This story only has around 2-3 chapters left (I'm sorry).
These characters will be referenced in another of my stories though and I will post the title in an updated chapter in this story once I write it (I haven't come up with a name yet.) so you will learn what becomes of Cathy an Ryan then. (Nothing bad happens to them, but nothing good happens to Ashley, and you will get to learn more about Amy, Seraphine, Bex, Heledd, Elle and Nerissa.)
However, my next story will be co-authored so keep an eye out because it's going to ROCK!!!!!!!!!! (I can't believe I will finally write a story with THE BEST writer on this site who happens to also be the first (and only) friend I have made on here! Yes, I am excited!)
