No One Does It Better

"Well well well... look who it is." I stopped, clenched my teeth, released Ashley's hand, and I turned around, glaring at David. Ashley followed my lead.

"What the Hell do you want? I thought he made it clear to leave me alone," I said whilst pointing at Ashley. David chuckled.

"What are you gonna do about it, honey?" David asked.

"I'm gonna fucking show you, you pile of dog shit!" I yelled as I lunged forward. Ashley simply wrapped his arms around my waist, and he pulled me back gently.

"Let me handle this, Audrey," he said. I crossed my arms and watched as Ashley took a cautious step forward.

"Look... all we want is for you to leave us alone. What is so hard about that? Do you still have feelings for her? Or are you jealous?" Ashley asked. David looked peculiarly at Ashley as his face grew a light shade of crimson. The next thing I knew, David's fist connected with Ashley's cheek, and Ashley stumbled back towards me.

"Oh my god! Ashley, baby, are you okay?" I asked as I helped him get steady on his feet. He nodded, and I kissed his cheek.

"What the fuck is wrong with you!?" I yelled. David took a step back as Miss B came running over to us.

"What's going on here? Tell me. Now," she demanded. I looked at her and sighed.

"We were just walking to lunch, minding our own business when this assface decided to screw things up. Isn't that right, David?" I asked. He scowled as Miss B gripped his arm tightly.

"You're coming with me. All of you are," she said unhappily, and we all followed her towards the office.

When we got there, Miss B sat David down on a chair, and she motioned for Ashley and I to sit across the room from him.

"Fucking great," I mumbled as Ashley played with my fingers absentmindedly. She talked to the Principal for a good twenty minutes in his office while I glared daggers into David's forehead.

"Okay. We're issuing a five day suspension for Mr. Paul. For Miss Biggs-"

"What!?" I exploded, standing up out of my chair, "That's complete and utter bullshit! Don't you know about everything he's done to me? He made the whole school call me a slut, and I'm pretty sure they're doing it again. He just fucking punched my boyfriend in the face for no fucking reason, and he's been harassing me ever since we broke up! A five day suspension clearly isn't enough!" I was breathing heavily as Ashley stood up next to me to defend me.

"Miss Biggs, the policy is quite simple-"

"To Hell it isn't! Schools are supposed to put an end to bullying and harassment! Not just suspend it for five days! That's not enough, because it's obviously going to start back up again once the person gets back! Are you fucking blind!?" I screamed. My face was definitely red with anger. Ashley leaned down so he could whisper in my ear.

"Take it down a notch, babe," he muttered. I sighed heavily as the Principal and Miss B stood there in shock.

"You're... you're right. We're going to issue Mr. Paul an expulsion, and you, Miss Biggs, a three day suspension," the Principal said.

"But I didn't do anything!" I countered, throwing my hands up in the air in disbelief.

"Call the boy's mother and the girl's cousin," the Principal told Miss B.

"No! If Andy finds out he's gonna kill me!" I exclaimed. Ashley shushed me, and he pulled me back down into my seat. I closed my eyes and I shook my head as Miss B did as she was instructed. Ashley kissed my temple as she talked to Andy first.

"Audrey, your cousin will be here very soon," Miss B told me. I didn't acknowledge her, so she continued to call David's mom.

"What now?" Andy asked when he entered the office. I looked up at him as warm tears filled my eyes, and I stood up and approached him. I hugged my cousin, and he hugged me back tightly.

"I just got home from tour several hours ago, and I'm already being called in because of something here. What is it?" Andy asked once I released him. David's mom entered the office in a fit if hot rage, and she approached him with one of the deadliest glares I've ever seen.

"You've done what!? I cannot believe you, young man! Let's go!" She yelled, and she grabbed him by the ear, pulling him up and out of his seat. She approached us and apologized, and she dragged her son out of the office behind her.

"Is there anything we can do about the suspension? She really didn't do anything," Ashley said. The Principal sighed.

"Fine. I just don't want you in this office again, unless it's for something good. You hear me?" We all nodded, and he waved us off. We all left the office, and Andy headed home with tired goodbyes, and Ashley and I returned to lunch happily.
