Mona P.O.V

Apparently I fell asleep because I wake up warm in a bed. I pray to god its my own. But when I finally sit I i release my childness and see that I am in the same gray basement room as before. I run my fingers through my hair and lay my face in my hands.

"I just want to go home" I say to myself.

Is this what I get for all countless nights awake with my thoughts? Begging and pleading to be out of the situation I was in? All my dreams of moving out of my town, Being a rockstar, being somebody. Is it all done now? I never thought it would be the man that made me want to chase my dreams, to ruin them.

I move, I'm in shock that my leg is in little to no pain. When I trough off my covers I see it is gently wrapped and I can now stand on my own.

The room is quiet. A defining quiet that could make someone crazy. It drives me crazy. Thats when I see them. My parents have taken me to tons of doctors, They say I'm insane. I'm not though. I know what I see when I see the Shadows. I haven’t seen the apparitions in a while, In fact since I have been taking my pills they have vanished. Thats when it occurred to me that I do not have my pills with me. I sit on my bed scared shitless and quaking, I can smell the burning flesh and see the shadows circle around my bed. There after me!

“Oh God!” I scream at the top of my lungs,

I scream for a minute until Andy comes rushing through the door. When he tries to comfort me and tries to get me to stop screaming I swat him away.

“What's wrong Mona!?” He says wrapping his arms around me to get me to stop flailing.

“The shadows! There after me!” I say hiding in his chest “Please, please help me Andy”.

“Its okay little girl, I’m right here for you baby” He says combing my hair with his gentle fingers “The monsters will go away”.

After who knows how long of screaming, then uncontrollably sobbing, and then Andy soothing me in his arms. I start to calm down. I feel safe in his warm embrace. He hums lightly and sooths me off until I get better. Not even my parents would have done this small act of kindness for me, They would have left me to be scared and alone. Or worse, call the hospital. Just another schizophrenic episode.

Age thirteen is when they finally diagnosed me with schizophrenia; Though, they knew I had it from a very very young age. It would have been inappropriate and upsurde to diagnose a six year old with schizophrenia because she saw a monster. Its just not realistic.

“Are you okay Mona?” He asks holding me tightly to his warm body.

I nod, and quickly move away from him. It kills me to think I found comfort in a monster's arms. He disgusts me.

“Why try so hard to rid yourself of me?” says Andy placing his hand on my cheek “There's no use, Your mine now and you will forever be mine”.

I think about his words for a moment. He speaks the truth. He tells no lies. There is no way for me to get out of this. I am trapped here with Andrew Dennis Biersack, a tale I have only read in stories; a story I never thought would come to life. Andy was a beautiful nightmare that I wouldn't wake up from. When I look at him, I don't know if I want to.

I have dreamed of Andy, as an idol for many years on my life. His genuine smile and hand cradling my face makes my stomach give. But I will never stop fighting.

“I try hard, and will continue to try hard Andy” I say with a blank face.
