"We're gonna do what?!?" I screamed into my phone.
"You and the rest of the band are going to play warped tour." calmly replied Cole, my band's manager.
I can't believe this, this is a dream come true.
"What's a dream come true?" Hailey said as she walked into the room.
Stupid mind reading Satori, go back to your cave in Japan.
"Hey, that wasn't very nice. Plus I didn't read your mind. You said it out loud, idiot," she replied "Plus Satori have come a long way in the area of evolution. We aren't hairy Ape-people anymore."
"I suppose you're right..... You are only hairy sometimes" I said jokingly.
Let me fill you in here.
My name is Starr and I'm the frontwoman for the up-and-coming band Till The End.
My friend here is Hailey, aka Hailz, and she is the rhythm guitarist for said band.
Oh, I forgot to mention something.
We're also mythical creatures that arent so mythical.
I'm a Werewolf.
Yeah, I know so typical, but trust me. I'm the real deal, not that fluffy twilight crap.
And Hailz?
Well, if my comment from five seconds ago wasn't enough to clue you in, she's a Satori.
You don't come across many of them now-a-days, so I'll let the confusion on what that is slide.
Long story short, Satori are an old ape creature from Japan that can read minds.
They've evolved since the old days though, and now they're more human less ape, but still have that killer mind reading thing and hunger for human flesh.
The best of both worlds.
I know what you're thinking. There is no such thing, but that is where you are wrong. Obviously.
"Ummmm.... Starr? You still there?" Cole asked.
"Huh? Oh, yeah I'm still here, so how much of Warped are we playing."
"Wait! We're playing Warped?" Hailz screeched.
"Guess you're not so good at the mind reading thing after all Hailz" I teased.
"Oh can it, you know I don't like using it unless I have to" She defended.
"Bite me" I retorted.
"With pleasure dog girl."
"Girls! Cool it, I need the both of you to be nice and normal and calm so I can deliver you to Warped in one peace." Cole shouted into the phone.
Normal? That's not a thing we could be even if we weren't non-human.
Our personalities just don't allow that.
I know it seems like the two of us don't get along at all, but Hailz and I are really best friends.
This type of thing is just part of our daily routine.
"Anyways, you guys are playing ALL of warped, so make sure to pack a lot of clothes."
"Okay, C-man. We got it. E-mail me the rest of the details later and I'll make sure the rest of the guys know everything." I calmly stated.
"Gotcha, Coleioli Ravioli out."
God, I love that nickname I gave him.
When the guys got home we told them about warped, and they were super stoked.
Then we realised.
How the hell are we going to hide the fact that we aren't human.
This is going to be interesting.
