Black Veil Tea Party

-Third Person POV-

Jake's phone rang loudly as he fumbled through his pockets for the key to his house, wanting to escape the chilly November air. Sighing, he answered the call on his doorstep, telling himself he would be let in right after.
"Jake?"
"Oh, hey Sarah, what's up?" Jake asked his sister, glad it was her and not someone who wanted him somewhere or would spend forever talking.
"Um, so, I was wondering, are you free this Saturday?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Ok good, that's great. Do you mind doing me a favor by babysitting Claire this weekend?" Jake bit his lip, thinking if there was a nice way to decline. It wasn't that he didn't like his niece, it was that small children scared him sometimes. Yes, he, Jake Pitts, lead guitar player of the rock band Black Veil Brides, was nervous around kids.
"Uh, gee, Sarah, um, I don't know-" He started.
"Please?" She interrupted desperately. "It's the first time my book club has met in months, and I have to be there!" Really?!
"Couldn't you take Claire with you?" Jake tried in a last attempt.
"There's a strict no kids under the age of 12 rule at Cheryl's house. Please?" Jake sighed in defeat.
"Alright, I will. What time? Oh, and can I bring someone else over to help me out?" He asked quickly, hoping for an excuse not to be on his own watching a kid.
"Jake, she's 11, it's not that hard. But I guess so. Anyone from the band is fine," she agreed. "1:00, my house, the key will be under the mat in case I'm not there when you arrive. Thanks again!"
"No problem," Jake responded before hanging up. As he found his keys and unlocked the door, he wished that he hadn't answered the phone.

Hey guys, thanks so much for checking this out! I should have it finished and updated by the end of winter break. This will probably turn out to be a five-shot, but who knows? Yes, Jake does have a sister named Sarah, though I have no idea how old she is, what she's like, if she has a kid, or if she's even married. All I know is her name. XD I just randomly made up that Jake's scared of little kids, that fear should make a funny reappearance later! Anyway... thanks for reading, bye! Ooh, please tell me what you think so far!
