Lost It All (On Hold)
Chapter 5
I got home and my mother wasn't home, thank God. I ran up to my room and instantly pull out all of my suitcases and plop them on my bed. I franticly look around and head over to my closet. Since I know that I have enough credits, I head over to my closet and pack everything except a week worth of clothes.
Suddenly the front door opens, and my mother walks in. "Maddy! I know your here! I just went to talk to the school and you do have enough credits to graduate on Friday, but you need to be at school until then. No more skipping!" She walks into my room and starts helping me pack.
"Thats great! Were Tyler's mother and Shanel's mother there too?"
"Actually, yes they were. And Tyler and Shanel also have enough credits. You are all moving to LA Sunday." She smiles and I start to panic. Only 5 days to pack!
"That means I only have 5 days to pack! I'm going to need to help Ty and Shanel too. How am I supposed to get all this done!?"
"Maddy, calm down. You are going to get everything done in time, no need to worry. You'll be fine." She assured me, rubbing my arms with her hands. I started to calm, then my phone rang. I saw it was from Shanel.
Me~ Hello?
Shanel~ Maddy! You need to get to the school quick! Tyler is getting beat just because your not here! Please hurry!
Me~ Oh my God! I'll be right there!
I run out to the car and get to the school in 5 minutes flat and immedietly see Tyler on the ground, getting kicked and hit by Chase and the football team.
I jump out and scream at them, "Get the FUCK AWAY from him! NOW! Or you will not see the light of day, EVER AGAIN!" Everyone scurries off and I see Tyler, unconcious on the ground, his lip and eye are bleeding.
"Tyler, please, stay with me! We are leaving for LA in a few days, please. Don't leave us!" I sob, putting his head in my lap. I suddenly hear sirens and see the ambulance pull up. The paramedics put him on a streacher and Shanel and I immedietly hop in my car, driving after them. Shanel calls her mom, my mom, and finally, Tyler's mom.
We get to the hospital and follow Tyler until we can't go any further. This is all my fault. If I wouldn't have over reacted, then he wouldn't be here. He would be continuing his day, Shanel and I doing the same. He would be eating lunch with us, making fun of the jocks.
"Where is he! Where is my little boy!" I hear Tyler's mother franticly ask the lady at the desk.
"Who is your 'little boy'?"
"Tyler! Tyler Hale! Where is he!" She is sobbing now.
"I'm sorry, but he can't have visitors now. If you will just stay here for a while and calm down, everything will be just fine." The lady leads's Mrs. Hale over to where I'm sitting and I consume her in a hug.
"It'll be alright. He is gonna be just fine." I whisper, trying to calm her down. She soon stops sniffling and her breathing slows down. I think she fell asleep. I look at Shanel and she gives me a knowing look, and helps me lay her down on the couch.
"Tyler Hale?" A doctor came around the corner and I immedietly stood up.
"That's us." I said, motioning to his mother and Shanel.
He nodded, "Well, unfortunalty, he has three broken ribs, a broken arm and leg, and a mild concussion. He won't be able to leave the hospital for a good two and a half months. I'm so sorry." He turns and walks off. I can't take it anymore, I break down and cry. Shanel tries to calm me down, but it's no use. I'm officially broken.
