Lost It All (On Hold)
Chapter 11
I started my walk to the principal's office, hands shaking like my great-grandma's. I wasn't paying any attention, so I didn't hear anyone come up behind me. I felt someone grab my arm and pull me into an empty classroom.
"I hear you socked my girlfriend in the stomach. Got anything to say?" Chase asked, lifting my chin up to look into his eyes.
"Nope. Can I go now?" I was starting to get really annoyed.
"No way. You know, I have something pretty important to tell you though."
"And what would that be?"
"That I've always liked you. I only asked Macee out to get you jealous. Now I can see that it didn't work." He said, leaning in a little. I turned my head, so his lips met my cheek. I was starting to get scared.
"Chase, let me go. Now." I breathed, trying to get out of his grasp. It was no use.
"So you don't care that I like you? Not even a little?" He tried to turn my face back towards his.
"All I care about right now is how uncomfortable I am, and how I would much rather be sitting in he principal's office. Not crushed against a wall with some creep trying to kiss me." I was really scared now.
"Awe, come on now. Don't be afraid. I'm not going to hurt you." He finally turned my head, and was centimeters from my face. Dear God, help me.
"Chase, I'm going to try this again, and if you don't let me go after I ask you to, you wont be able to have Macee's children. Let. Me. Go." I spit the words out, but I was only met with his lips on mine. I didn't respond, but he never got the hint. I finally kneed him in the groin and he stumbled off of me.
"Fuck!" He mumbled. I quickly grabbed my backpack and ran into the hallway. The first hour release bell rung, and all the kids were spilling out of the classrooms. I quickly spotted Shanel's bright green hair and ran to catch up with her, stepping on people feet in the process.
"Hey," I said, out of breath. I grabbed her water bottle from her backpack and finished it off, trying to get the taste of Chase out of my mouth.
"Hi? What Mr. Bragdon say? Do you have detention?" Shanel asked, the questions coming at a me cannons.
"Didn't go to Bragdon's. Just almost got crabs from Chase." I mumbled, handing her the empty bottle.
"What? What is that supposed to mean?" She asked, pulling me out of the herd of kids. Thank god we have a 5 minute passing period.
"I was walking to the office when Chase grabbed my arm and dragged me into an empty classroom. He said that he has liked me for a long time now, and he kept trying to kiss me. He finally succeeded and I kneed him in the groin. I ran out to the hallway just in time for the first hour release bell." I said, putting my face into my hands. Shanel rubbed my back, calming me. The warning bell rang, signaling that we had to be in our seats in one minute.
"I gotta get to class. Talk to ya in an hour." She said, walking off. I looked around, and saw that I was across the hall from French, my second hour class. Sighing, I walked in and took my seat. Thank god I had an A in this class. And that I didn't have any homework.

I walked into my house to see my mother in a really fancy outfit: http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=96037608 She looked up and smiled.
"Hi dear. How was school?" She asked, grabbing a pear from the fruit bowl.
"Fine. Quick question; Why are you all dressed up? Job meeting for a promotion?" I questioned, following her example, but grabbing a banana instead.
"I forgot to tell you, we are meeting an old friend of mine. I want you to wear your normal clothes, but please, at least wear some heels or something." She said, looking for some tea in the fridge. "Do you want anything to drink, Maddy?"
"Okay. And no thanks mom. I'm not that thirsty. I'll go pick out my outfit." I told her, finishing up my banana. I grabbed my backpack, phone, and keys, and headed upstairs. I decided to take some time on my outfit.
"Maddy! We have to leave in five minutes! Hurry up!" My mother yelled up the stairs. I had just finished up with the accessories. I picked up my two Adventure Time necklaces, Fionna and Cake, and fastened them around my neck. "Coming mom!" I yelled as I switched the phone cases out. Quickly I went downstairs and met up with my mom.
"Who are we meeting?" I asked as I fastened my seatbelt.
"My friend from high school, Amy. She's bringing her son with her tonight. I'm almost positive you will get along." My mom babbled the whole way to the restaurant. We walked in and were met with hugs from a woman with curly red hair.
"Hello Kristi! It's so good to see you! And you must be Madyline. Kristi has told me so much about you! Come, sit with me and my son Andy. I'm sure you'll get along!" My mom and I followed Amy to our table.
My eyes almost bugged out of my head when I saw who her son was...
