"Wow.." Mae laughed, looking at her computer screen as Andy walked through his new apartment with his computer held up. "It seems nice."

"Oh it's a shithole." Andy laughed, turning his laptop back to him. "But it's a place to stay rather than the van. Sandra's here too."

"You're right. So how did the video shoot go last week?" She asked.

"Good. Blasko helped out as well." Andy smiled.

"I'm happy for you, babe." She said, yawning and resting her chin in her hand. "I can't wait for you to come home."

"I know." Andy said, collapsing on his ripped up old couch. "Two days."

"And you stay for two weeks!" She sighed, happily. "Then we have to be apart again."

"Yeah but only for a little while." He smiled at her. "We'll be together forever sooner than you think."

"Yeah, you're right." She giggled. "How is everyone?"

"Alright. I met a few guys a little while ago and I don't know, Mae Lilly.." Andy shook his head. "I might want them in the band more than Chris. I mean we already need a bassist and a rythm guitarist but this guy plays lead."

"Well if you think it's the right decision than it probably is." Mae smiled, softly at him. They stared at each other for a few moments before Andy smirked and grabbed something from behind his laptop.

"I put this out before anything else." He said, showing her the framed picture of them. She grinned as he kissed her face.

"I love you." She mumbled.

"I love you, too." He said, biting his lip ring.

"Oh! I have a song to play you!" She laughed, picking up her guitar. He smiling and grabbed his cigarettes as she tuned. "It's called Roger Rabbit."

"Is it about me?" He laughed.

"No- not at all. I wrote it about.." She sighed, trying to put it in words. "Like people trying to overcome bullies and people who put them down. It's saying that if you don't do anything about it then nothing will ever change. You know?" Andy nodded and leaned back crossing his arms.

"Let's hear it." She laughed, strumming a random chord before closing her eyes and beginning the real melody.

Andy watched with wide and proud eyes as she sang with so much conviction his throat was dry. She was bringing tears to his eyes.

"I love it." He smiled, taking a puff of his fag. "You're going somewhere, Mae."

She giggled, "Thanks." She put her guitar down and laid on her side. "I love you."

He laughed, "Love you, too, Mae."

"I should probably head to bed. Last two days of school before break, you know." She yawned, sitting up and stretching. "See you soon."

"Okay, babe. Sleep tight." He said, blowing her a kiss. She returned it before her beautiful face left the screen. Andy sighed- that was always the worst part.

His phone began vibrating in his pocket and he took it out to see a name on his caller ID that he thought was gone forever.

Scout.

"What the fuck do you want?"

"Mae, it's not a big deal. It's just weed. Try it." Kaya laughed. The girls were sitting on Kaya's bed a joint in both of their hands.

"What if mom and dad walk in!?" Mae exclaimed.
"You're paranoid. They're out!" Kaya laughed, taking a puff of her joint.

"Fine." Mae groaned, sucking in the potentially toxic smoke. She coughed as it left her lips, making her sister laugh. "Andy's going to be mad."

"Why?" Kaya giggled, already feeling the effects.

"He doesn't like drugs- oh god, this feels good!" She laughed, puffing more smoke. Kaya blew some from her nose, making both of them giggle loudly.

She felt her phone vibrate in her pocket and she took it out to see an unknown number.

"Hello?" She coughed, running a hand through her hair.

"Is this Mae?" The person asked.

"Depends on who is asking?" Mae quirked her brow.

"This is Scout Taylor Compton and I wanted to tell you to stay the fuck away from my man."

"What?" Mae said, sitting up a bit.

"Stay. Away. From. Andy." Scout said, her voice sickeningly sweet.

"How the hell did you get my number!?"

"It doesn't matter. I just want you to leave him alone so I can have him back."

"News flash honey, you broke up with him and he loves me! Nice try but that's not happening." Mae seethed.

"Well, I'm in LA and you're in Cinci so good luck with that."
