Carolyns point of view

“4 days, we got lucky” Andy said while relieving the stress that CC and the others wouldnt be ready for the next concert. I’ve put people in comas before, but i mean come on all i did was punch him. I picked up CC easily and placed him on the couch, I then helped the rest limp to the other couch. “Ashley, since you seem the only one able to move on your own, get me four ice packs and a fan.” i said more a command than a question.
“Okay, but if i get you these than you have to answer some of my questions” he said.
“Whatever just go before you trade places with CC” i said getting anger with him for stalling.
Within 5 minutes he was back with the ice packs and Andy was in the kitchen attempting to make food for the guys. Ashley placed the packs and fan on the floor next to me. “Thank you” I said softly.
“Your Welcome now what can i do to help” he asked.
“You can handle Jakes stomach and Jinxx’s back, i flipped him pretty hard” i stated
“Ya think” he said under his breathe “so, question time, what’s your name” he asked.
“Carolyn Grase” i answered.
“How did you manage to put 4 guys on their butts?”
“Ive taken kick boxing since i was 8 because I knew I would need it for self defence.”
“How old are you”
“19, why?” i said answering a question with a question.
“no reason, are you and Andy a thing” he asked
“really I dont know, today has been so life changingly confusing”i said “only put the ice pack on for 10 minutes or else it will burn their skin” I stated from experience.
“you should talk to Andy about that” he requested.
“I dont know, what if hes one of those guys who are afraid of commitment and-” i was cut off by CC
“what happened, oww my nose hurts like a mother-” i then returned the favor of cut offs
“Everyone in this room better watch their language, got that, the consequence of a potty mouth is, hmmm, another butt whipping from me, am i clear” I asked
I got 3 moans from the boys
“Am I clear?” I repeated with more anger in my voice, just to frighten them.
“Yes ma’am” they said at the same time.
“Thank you, now im really sorry about what happened, im actually a really nice person, it just when i was younger I used to get bullied so i took kick boxing. Now, whenever i feel in danger i go with the reflex of kickin’ butt. I will answer any question or concerns” i said
“Its okay” all of them said under their breath, i giggled and they all started looking at me like how Andy looked at me the first time we met.
“Whats your name” CC asked since he wasnt awake during Ash and i’s conversation.
“Here i have an idea can we pretend like we are meeting for the first time” i asked hopefully.
“Thats a great idea” Ashley said.
“Hi, Im Carolyn, Im 19, I am 6’ and the life of the party” I said doing a mocking voice and shaking Jakes hand making them laugh. “But before we start with the whole meeting thing may i ask you fine sir” focusing my attention on Jake “why must you have grabbed my leg” I asked still using the mocking tone.
He strugged his shoulders as if saying ‘I dont know’ “I just was trying to prank you back for slapping ashley” he said
“2nd rule after no swearing, never put me in a position that tells my reflexes to kick you behind if you want to survive” i said “okay now lets get to this meeting thing”
“okay im jake”
“Jinxx”
“Ashley”
“Mr. Unicorn but you can call me CC”
“okay, questions, concerns” i asked
“Do you have a boyfriend” Jinxx asked.
I kinda just looked at my feet shyly not knowing how answer.
“Andy and her havent decided what they are yet” Ashley answered for me.
“Andy and her havent decided what” Andy asked. Then I saw a huge pile of smoke coming from the kitchen.
“Um Andy, are you sure you know how to use an oven” i asked
“Yeah, kind of, why” with that i pointed to where the smoke was coming from.”Oh that might be a problem” he said
“No, its not a problem lets just sit here and bask in the poisonous gases while getting roasted by the nice flames” I yelled running to the back room to get the fire extinguisher.
“What do we do now, i dont know how to put out a fire” yelled a angered Andy. As i got back i saw Ashley heading for the window
“DONT OPEN THE WINDOW” i yelled but it was to late. The flames burst through the kitchen into the living room. I tried to get the fire extinguisher but the handle is rusted on the hook, great. We ran to the back, there werent any emergency exits so i took my foot and i kicked the window opened, the glass cut through my converse and was lodged in my foot but i didnt care, thank god we were stuck in traffic. “jump out the window im going to get the bus driver” he doesnt deserve to die cause of us.
“No im going stay with the group” Andy yelled
“To bad” with that i ran through the bunk hall and into the burning living room. I quickly hopped on the part of the table that wasnt burning. I jumped to the ceiling bars, ment for hanging decorations, pulled myself up and flipped my legs up, so now i was hanging upside down, I then swung my torso back up to the bar and continue this full motion 3 times. I finally reached the drivers door. swung it open and did a flip off the bars onto my feet, which i forgot had glass in, i winced in pain. ‘suck it up Carolyn yours and a mans life in on the line’ i thought to myself. I limped to the door and used my left foot to kick it open, great hes unconscious. I put the bus in park, then i picked this overly sized man up in a bridal style and limped out of the bus. I was wondering why nobody came to help us, its because it looks like our bus got over heated. I layed the man on the side of the freeway and ran back inside the bus.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING GET OUT OF THERE” Andy screamed.
I sat down and put it out of park and drove it to the side of the rode, coughing, i parked it knowing it would explode soon because the gas can thing. I ran out and motioned for the guys to get down,which they did, ignoring the pain in my foot, i ran to the guys. Right when i got to them, the bus did a mediocre explosion compared to the ones you see in the movies, but a big enough one to knock me off my feet from about 100 feet away.I fell on my back and the last thing i saw was Andys beautiful but blurry face hovering over me, then everything went black.

Andys point of view

Carolyn kicked in the back room window, I saw the piece of glass go straight in her foot, but she ignored it completly “jump out of the window im going to get the bus driver” i couldnt let her do that and risk my loves life.
“No im going stay with the group” i objected, shes right the bus driver shouldnt die because of us.
“Too bad” she raced off, some how i knew she wasnt gonna let me do it. I knew if i tried to go and help i would just get in the way. CC then dropped on the floor, i knew he was weak from just waking up from his minnie coma so i threw him over my shoulder and i hopped out of the window, followed by jake and jinxx. We ran weakly to the side of the road. I sat there impatiently, awaiting my princess to climb out of the tower. About 2 minutes later, she came out and placed our overly sized driver on the side. I ran to go help get him, she then ran back to the bus “WHAT ARE YOU DOING GET OUT OF THERE” i scream at the top of my lungs. I then relize what shes doing. Shes moving the bus so that when it blows up it wont hurt any other cars. I grab the driver and bring him to where the guys are. She quickly runs out of the bus, ignoring the glass in her foot. She finally gets to us and gets thrown on the floor by the impact, i know that our bus just exploded but i cant take my eyes off the princess that is slowly getting pulled into unconsiouness. “NO NO WAKE UP” i shake her small figure “please, please no dont leave me” i hug her body and rock back and forth. A single tear rolled down my cheek, quickly wiped it away “Someone call 911, please somebody” i half scream, half sobbed. I continued to rock back and forth while cradling her body.
Several minutes later, an ambulance arrived “are you related, or married to this woman” a parametic asked.
“No, but I must go with” i stated
“Okay, but if anyone asks your her husband” he said softly letting me jump in the back of the truck.
I held her hand the whole hour there, i assume Ashley will explain what happened. Once we arrived they told me to wait in the waiting room. ‘Everything was on the bus, its all my fault, if i didnt try to show off i wouldnt of made bus go boom boom’ i thought. ‘How are we gonna continue tour without a tour bus’ i thought. I checked the time on my phone and its already 3:23 AM. Hopefully the guys are alright, CC woke up before the ambulance got there. I got a text from Ashley snapping me out of my train of thought.
Ashley-where are you dude?
Me- At the hospital and dont expect me to leave without her
Ashley-have they said anything about Carolyn yet?
Me- No
Ashley- we r at the bed & breakfast around the corner
Me-k
Ashley- text me when they say anything about her
Me- okay bye
Ashley- you should get some rest
Me- not untill i know shes fine
Ashley- suit yourself bye

Its been 4 and a half hours since I got here and finally i see a doctor walking towards me.
“Hello, are you here for Carolyn Grase” he asked.
“Yes I am” i answered quickly
“She had a glass pretty deeply stuck in her foot so we had surgery to take that out and it appears that it went through one of the veins that is connected to the heart” he paused looking through his clipboard and i swear i was about to punch him for making me wait “she lost alot of blood but we believe she will be alright. She was already unconsious when she arrived correct” he asked. Hes her doctor he should know these things. I swear if i wasnt paralized from fright i would have drop kicked him then and there.
“correct” i answered softly
“Well that happened because of lack of oxygen and the impact of the, from your case, explosion hit her hard enough to render her unconsious. The worst news is that from the loss of blood and the fact that she was already unconsious put her into a coma that she has a 15% chance of waking up” he explained
“15% chance of waking up” i mumbled to myself. Is this real, am i just in some twisted dream.
“would you like to see her” he asked waking me up, something she may never do, from my deep thought.
“yes i would love to” i said, while walking to the front desk to ask what room number shes in. I swiftly walked to her room, and there she was, Sleeping Beauty awaiting her prince to come and rescue her. I walked over to her and grabbed her soft hand in mine “I dont know if you can hear me but i just want you to know, I love you, forever” i say wanting so much for her to say ‘and always.’

carolyns point of view

Everything is dark and scary, i just want out. I want out, i want light, i want to be able to use my nerves to move, and most of all i want Andy, but all i can do is listen and feel people touching me.
“Are you related or married to this woman” a man asked Andy who is holding me. ‘i wish he was….. married not related that would be gross’ i giggled inside my head imagining being Andys sister instead of girl friend, i think girl friend untill i was interrupted by Andys angel voice
“No, but i must go with” he states, aww so sweet of him to demand to be with me
“okay, but if anyone asks your her husband” i feel somebody lift me up on a hard bed, no stretcher. Its not Andy though, i know andys touch, its a paramedic.
For a very long time all i can here is weird unknown voices and this crazy annoying beeping thingy.
For awhile i only hear that beeping noise, do you know how annoying it is to hear that and on top of that not even be able to move, until i hear the door open and close. I feel a hand grab mine, immediatly i knew it was andy. I heard some shuffling then silence ……. “I dont know if you can hear me” ‘yes andy i can’, so frusterating “but i just want you to know” ‘continue’ “ I love you” ‘i love you to’ “forever” i wanted so much to say it back. ‘And always’. I then felt Andys lips kiss the top of my head. I WANT OUT!
