The Children Who God Forgot (Andy Biersack)

Chapter 1.

" Laila! Hurry up or else we will be late for church!" My mother shouted from the bottom of the stairs. Laila came running down the stairs in her church clothes with her shoes in one hand and her jacket in the other.
"Deandra and Makela, go to the car already! Devon where is Ben?" My mother asked me.

" He is already in the car with father." I said. My mother signed that I should follow my twin sisters, Deandra and Makela to the car, so I did. I got into our family van, next to Ben. Deandra and Makela were giggling all the way in the back while Laile sat down next to me.

" Alright, lets go, Jack. I do not want to be late again." My mother said and we drove off. Ben was almost falling asleep again. I understood, we were always up at 7 AM on sundays to go to church and sometimes even sooner. Ben didn't like it. Nobody really did, but we had to go.
We arrived pretty quickly and we all got out of the car. While our parents and Ben sat pretty close in the front, we went to sit at the back, where you could talk to each other. I sat down next to my friends Chloe, Mary and Mathilda. On the other side of me was Laila with Deandra and Makela
.
" Devon, you know Miss Biersack, right?" Chloe asked me as soon as I said hello.

" I need some more information then just Miss Biersack." I responded back
.
" She used to help at the bake sales from the church but suddenly quit a few years ago. She would always give us some free cookies, remember? You went with her son, Andrew, to elemantary school." Chloe explained. Now I remember her, she was one of the sweetest woman ever, Deandra used to think that she was an angel. She was one of the most beautiful woman for her age. I wonder what Chloe had to say, since she always had gossip when something bad happened around this town.

" Yeah, I remember her. " I said.

" Well, you also know that Andrew moved away with his father when they divorved." She said and I just nodded. " Andrew moved back in with her. He has been here since you went to bible camp, and you should see him. He hasn't visited church at all and he looks all satanic and scary. He has tattoos, black hair and piercings."

" What is he doing here?" I asked her.

" People think his dad didn't want him anymore." Mary added to the conversation. " I'm surprised his mom still goes to church and dares to show her face around here with a son like that."

" My dad says he is one of the children that God forgot. That's why he turned all satanic" Mathilda said. I wanted to ask more information about Andrew but the priest arrived and started talking.

After Church ended I walked outside with Mary, Mathilda and Chloe. What we saw there made my mouth fall open.

" What?" Mathilda asked confused. I nodded towards the boy who stood outside the church, smoking a ciggarette. Andrew Biersack. He had dark circles around his eyes and he had long black hair that was a huge mess. One bottom lip piercing and one trough his nose. He wore a leather jacket with a ripped shirt. Tons of tattoos were visible on his arms.

" Told you he looked like the devil himself." Chloe said softly. To me he didn't really look like the devil. He looked scary, but still a normal boy. He was waiting patiently, until miss Biersack arrived. He stomped out his cigarette and walked with her to the car. Miss Biersack said something to him and he glared towards us.

" Do you think she heard us in church?" Mary asked.

" No way, She sat somewhere at the front. " Mathilda responded.

" Devon! Come here we are going." I heard my mother yell. I quickly said goodbye to my friends and walked towards the van.

During dinner I kept thinking about Andrew. I remembered that he used to be very sweet, yet always had liking in darker colors and rough things. He was never really populair and I knew that Chloe would always make fun of him with some other girls and boys. I never was part of that. I never teased or bullied others
.
" Hey mother. Do you know what happened to Andrew Biersack?" I asked out of nowhere.

" That satanic boy who came back here?" She asked confused and I nodded. " That kid is just awful. He probably worships the devil himself. I saw you and your friends looking at him today. I don't want you hanging around that boy. His mother should discipline him. It's sad that she became such an awful parent. She used to be so sweet. "

" Mathilda said that Andrew was one of the children that God forgot. Why would God forget about someone, if he loves all?" Laila asked.

" God doesn't forget about anyone, he still cares about Andrew but Andrew turned his back on God and is now facing the Devil himself. He just needs to turn back around and see that God still is there for him and will forgive his sins." Father explained as he stood up and took away all the dirty dishes. Deandra and Makela helped him while I went upstairs, confused why I kept thinking about Andrew. I barely talked to him when we were younger, I didn't even know he moved away or that miss Biersack divorced, Chloe probably told me but I forgot.
