Something More?

Sandra’s confession of having planned to commit suicide surprised me a little bit. She had had the sweetest smile on her face when she was talking to the band, before I pulled her aside to address her self inflicted wounds. But despite the fact that she had gone through such pain, she was willing to share her story just to help me out. I thought that was very brave. Of course, after Sandra told her story, Andrew started to sing. I didn’t know many of the words but I knew enough to sing the group vocals from having been at several consecutive concerts. It started as barely a whisper, but soon the entire coffee shop was filled with the reverberating sound of Andrew’s voice. When the song was done the staff of the shop were looking at us with a mixture of curiosity and surprise in their eyes.

The next day, Sandra posted the video on YouTube and sent John a link so he could post a copy on the Black Veil Brides website. Apparently Sandra’s channel became much more popular because of the video. The other band members were very surprised when they watched the video, CC even complained that I should have told him so he could have helped. I had to explain to the man that doctor patient confidentiality is a thing in the US, plus I had no clue what she would have wanted at the time. After that things started to look up, fans weren’t so hateful of me and Andrew was no longer depressed.
At the next concert, I was back to being ignored by the fans, which was perfectly alright in my mind. However, despite the fact that almost no one, excluding staff members, was even talking to me, Andrew kept checking to see if I was doing ok, that no one was being mean. It was adorable for the first dozen times then it started getting a little annoying. I still appreciated the gesture though, he was showing his concern for me.
Now I just am left to wonder what will happen next...
