I don't really understand why that just happened but I'm pretty sure that the way I dealt with that bitch of a reporter will come back to haunt me.
After the interview I graded my laptop bag and headed out, intent to find somewhere with free wifi so I could pvp to get rid of some of this anger. Within half an hour I was set up at a local coffee shop with a chai tea latte, a blueberry muffin, and a loaded first person shooter. I put on my headphones and went to work, systematically killing everyone in the compound I spawned in.
After a while, when I had calmed down I felt a tap on my shoulder. I went safe mode in game and turned to find a teenager in a loli black music themed dress with too much eyeliner on.
“Yes?” I said pulling off my headphones.
“Um, are you the medic touring with Black Veil Brides?” I was taken aback by the fact that some random english girl knew that, and it probably showed on my face because she quickly added, “I saw the interview BVB did at the start of tour, it was posted on YouTube in addition to being broadcast live on the radio.”
“Ah, yeah that’s me. I’m Celestia.” I shook the girls hand, noticing that she was shaking slightly.
“Nice to meet you, I’m Brianna.” I smiled at the girl. A few seconds later a group of high school girls that needed to learn what real pants are waltzed up to us, giggling like a bunch of idiots.
“Hey slut, seducing another innocent citizen?” The one that had spoken was a pink streaked blond with shorts so short they didn’t count as coverage in my book and a ripped pink t-shirt that had ‘suck it’ printed on it in bold black letters and revealed her stomach. I hated her instantly. She seemed to be the top bitch of the group, and the moment the words left her mouth the rest of the click giggled and Briana cringed, shaking much more.
I sighed, seeing that the timid girl I had been talking wouldn’t be standing up for herself anytime soon, and rose from my seat. I made sure to stand at my full height, which wasn’t something I did often given that I always slouch, and loomed over the insignificant brats.
“Listen to me because I will only say this once: you are not better than her, you're lives are not more important than hers. A human is a human, a life is a life, so pull your tiny heads out of your loose asses and act like human beings for once in your pathetic lives. Or maybe the lot of you aren’t strong enough to pick on someone your own size.” I raised one eyebrow challengingly at the group, crossing my arms and staring down at them.
“Steff, are we going to let this harlot talk to us like that?” One of the girls asked the leader, Steff.
“No, no we are not. You clearly don’t know your place, fly, but you seem to be new so I will forgive you if you beg my forgiveness. I’m top dog around here, if I say someones a slut then they are. If I saw someone named Brianna should kill themselves, then they should. Understand?”
“No.”
“What?”
“You heard me, I said no. Why the hell can you tell others what to do or think. And why would a full grown adult that was in the middle of a conversation with a new found friend listen to what the hell you want them to do. What, are you in high school? So fucking what? If you want to pull this top bitch shit with me than you better sharpen your claws because I bite back.”
“Full grown adult?”
I rolled my eyes in exasperation at the stupidity of these girls. “Yes dear, I’m Doctor Celestia Trackis. I come from america with a band called Black Veil Brides. I have an MD and a PhD, that means that I have been through enough college to boil your insignificant brains. Shall I continue with the ways I’m better, older and wiser than you?”
“Just because you’re older than us doesn’t mean you're better than us.”
“No, it doesn’t. But the fact that I am not a stupid slut that wears clothes broadcasting that fact and picks on those weaker than me does. And if you insist on playing the ‘highschool slut game’ then I will still win seeing as I doubt you can beat me at anything, even sexually concerned.”
“Oh yeah? What about boyfriends? I’m dating the hottest guy in this town who is also a senior.”
I stared blankly at her for a minute, to dumbfounded by the idiocy to respond.
“Shucks, I can't possibly compare with that!" My tone was practically drowning everyone with its sarcasm. "I’m only dating Andrew Biersack.”
"Who?"
Before I could bother responding, my cell went off.
“Where are you?” Andrew questioned through the phone, sounding more than a little worried.
“At a local coffee shop, I'll send the address if you would like to prove me right."
