Something More?

I felt bad that I was not prepared enough to properly anesthetize that poor girl. First thing tomorrow, or even after the show, I'll go get better supplies. I've never understood why people would cause themselves that kind of pain, to me it just seems selfish. Then again I can't exactly judge given how I react to some things.
After I finished patching up the young woman I went over maintenance instructions and gave her Johns cell, telling her to say that I had given the number to her in case of emergency. Andrew had told me to never give a fan my phone number, so I figured John would be a relatively safe bet, he'd probably scare away anyone that wasn't meant to call him. She then quietly went to watch the concert, leaving me backstage.
The concert went pretty smoothly after that, no staff members got injured and I'm fairly certain that none of the audience got injured either. After the concert the guys did meet and greet just outside the venue while I wandered aimlessly. Finally it was time get back to the bus.
On our way some random guy broke through security. For me, it was like time slowed. He marched up to Andrew and grabbed him. I attempted to lunge forward and stop him but one of the security guards grabbed me and held me back. This guy was hauling Andrew away and I was powerless to do anything. Finally a couple guards got the guy off of Andrew, who looked like a frightened chicken. The man holding me back let me go. I took one glance at Andrew and made for the bus. I got to the bus and barricaded myself in the bathroom. Not even a minute later I heard the bus door open.
Andrew's voice came through the locked door, "Celestia come out of there. Let's get you in your bunk before the guys get back." I looked down at my shaking hands, trying to subdue the anxiety within me. "It's ok, just unlock the door." I reached out and flipped the latch.
Instantly Andrew charged in and grabbed me, carrying me bridal style to my bunk. He set me down and climbed in after me, shutting the curtain just in time for some staff members to get back to the bus.
"Guys, where are you?!" CC yelled.
"We're sleeping, fuck off," Andrew called out.
"Fine, me and Ash are heading to a local bar."
I pressed myself farther into the corner of the bunk, still shaking. I hate this feeling. Andrew returned his attention to me.
"You are an idiot." I looked up into his soft blue eyes. "You were not weak in the least bit. So why are you putting yourself through this?"
"Because I couldn't help you." I dropped my gaze from his in shame.
"Hey, just because some dude bear hugged me doesn't mean you have to come to my aid. As for the can't part, the only reason you didn't is because the guards did their job by keeping you out of trouble. None of that constitutes as you being weak..."
I could feel the unease within me dissipate with every word Andrew said. I closed my eyes, trying to focus on the sensation of air filling my lungs with each breath. When I opened my eyes I saw Andrew smiling at me like a kid that had just seen a magic trick.
"Better?" I nodded at the handsome man. "Do you need to take your meds?"
"I don't think so... Can we get out of my bunk?" Andrew furrowed his brow slightly in confusion. "You smell like you haven't showered in days."
He feigned a hurt expression and crawled out of his bunk. As I followed him, he not so subtly smelled himself and wrinkled his nose.
"Ok, you have a point."
