I woke up the next morning to Alura's waterproof watch alarm. I looked around the cave and blinked in the darkness. The fire had gone out and it was getting cold. I still wasn't wearing clothes. After a while of sitting in the dark and calling for Alura I saw a light coming up from the water. It wasn't long before her head popped out of the water.
"The storm has passed, it's a beautiful day out." She smiled and put the flash light on my swimming trunks. I grabbed them and put them on. She smiled and stopped me from getting in the water. "Look what I did while you were sleeping." She said and pointed the flashlight on the wall. There on the wall was Alura and Ashley Purdy were here.
"How did you write that?"
"With this." She said holding out a piece of rock. I looked at it and smiled.
"No one will ever see this." I said and walked over to the wall and signed it.
"Well, maybe they will and maybe they won't. That doesn't mean we can't come back here better prepared than this time." She smiled and I handed her the rock and stepped into the water. It was just as freezing as it was before. I took a deep breath and followed her through the hole in the cave wall. I swam for the surface and gasped for air. The water was calmer than it was yesterday. It was a bright sunny day and I could tell that it was early morning. I hadn't thought until now just how worried the guys would be about me, about us. "Come on we better swim for sure and find a pay phone quickly. I'm sure they have a coast guard out looking for us." She swam ahead of me and as we hugged the coast line, stopping occasionally to rest, we finally found land. We were on a beach populated by people. Alura and I didn't quite look like we had been ship wrecked, but our hair and skin were white with dried salt water and sand. "Excuse me ma'am." Alura walked up to a woman with her husband and children.
"Yes?" She asked watching me and the distance I was from her children. Mother hen.
"My boyfriend and I got lost last night from our boat in the storm. Is there any way you could give us some change so we could call our friends to come and pick us up?" She asked. The woman finally took a good look at Alura and nodded.
"Of course dear!" She dug through her purse quickly and produced some change. Alura smiled brightly.
"Thank you so much!" She ran off and motioned for me to come along. Alura dialed Eliza's cell phone.
"Hello?" I heard Eliza on the other side of the phone. She sounded like she had been crying.
"Eliza! It's Alura! We are safe!"
"Oh my God Alura! We have been so worried about you!...Yes. Yes! It's Alura….Alura is Ashley there with you?" She asked
"Yes he is here with me." She smiled and winked at me. I smiled and thought about how she had called me her boyfriend.
"Where are you?!" Andy asked through the phone.
"At a beach, somewhere…" She looked around and told Andy the beach quickly and hung up. It wasn't long before Andy showed up with the rest of the gang. I was thrown into a hug from Juliet, Sammi, and the newly arrived Ella. Andy, CC, Jake, and Jinxx all gave me man hugs and went on to making sure Alura was ok. Eliza had still not let go of her. Alura was laughing at her friends silliness and soon was picked up by Andy, followed by a big bear hug from CC, then a hug from Jake and Jinxx. I watched her from where I stood hugging Eliza. I didn't know when CC caught me staring at Alura, but soon I was side by side with him.
"So, did you two have sex in that little cave of wonders?" He asked with a cheeky smile.
"Well, since you hate lieing. Yes CC, yes we had sex." I said looking over at him for only a minute.
"Yes!" CC pumped his fist into the air and held out his hand to the guys. "Pay up!" He danced around the guys as they handed CC money.
"Hey Andy, give me 100 bucks will you?" I asked. He looked at me like I was insane. I shook my head and pointed to the woman who was still sitting where she had been before. Andy gave me the money and I walked over to the woman. She looked at me and smiled.
"I'm glad you could get a hold of your friends." She said and I smiled back.
"Yea me too. Here, this is for helping us." I said and handed her the hundred. She looked at it and shook her head.
"I couldn't possibly take that!" She said and I waved it at her.
"If you don't need it, I'm sure you would be nice enough to give it to someone who does." That got her to take the money. However she did insist on giving me two full course meals, one for Alura, and one for me. I smiled and walked back with the food.
"Ashley that was so sweet!" She said and hugged me.
"I come bearing gifts!" I said and handed her a ham and cheese sandwich.
"Oh my fucking Jinxx I was starving!" She yelled, which got the attention of our group. She tore the plastic bag away from the sandwich and took a big bite. I laughed and ate as well, handing her a water bottle when she motioned for it. After guzzling down the water she took a deep breath and finished her sandwich. Then she finally tore into the bag of chips. Finally when she was done she looked at Andy and said, "We should go out for lunch." Andy was taken aback by her ravenous eating and then again by her asking to go for lunch afterwards.
"Um, sure." Andy replied with and motioned for the rental car.
"I don't give a shit if I still have dry fucking salt water on me. I'm still hungry." I looked at her and she was as pale as a ghost with all the salt that caked her skin. I knew I looked just as bad. Andy pulled into a diner and in we went. Alura and I ordered some steaks. It was lunch time, but we offered to pay them extra for it. When our food came we both tore into our food like animals. She wasn't making any impressions to anyone that was there, but that didn't matter, not to me. She was mine. I sat back from eating my steak and thought about that. She wasn't mine, she had just called me her boyfriend at the beach. Why was I ok with her calling me her boyfriend? I didn't have a problem with it, although if it had been anyone else, I probably would have pulled them aside and protested, saying I hadn't asked her out and she shouldn't call me boyfriend just because we had sex.
"Ashley, you going into a coma over there?" Alura asked. I looked at her as she wiped her mouth and noticed that she had successfully finished her steak leaving me in the dust. I shook my head and smiled.
"Nope, just thinking." I continued to eat my steak.
"About how you made that save into a sauna last night?" CC asked laughing. I shot him a look and looked back at Alura. She was smiling.
"Were you Ashley?" She asked joining in on the fun.
"In a way." I said and smiled. Eliza looked at Alura and glared.
"So while we were worried sick you were fucking Ashley Purdy!" Eliza glared at her harder.
"Wait wait wait, you fucked her last night? Wow that's Cliché." Andy laughed and I gave him my middle finger to look at while I watched Eliza and Alura.
"Well, what else was I supposed to do Eliza? Sit there shivering?" She asked and sat her hands on the table.
"You could have been checking to see if the storm had past."
"I wasn't about to swim in the ocean in the middle of the night while I couldn't see a god damn thing Eliza!" She retorted. I don't know why Eliza had a big ass bug up her ass but she was really annoying me.
"So it took you until lunch time to wake up and get to shore?!" I stood up from the table and held my hand out to Alura.
"Come on. It doesn't matter what we did or didn't do. She is going to be angry either way because she has some shit against me. I don't know what it is, but obviously having this fan contest bore fruit and bombs." Alura took my hand and I looked at Andy. "Box up my steak I'm going to head back to the hotel. Pick us up on the way back." Alura and I started walking. I'm sure that left a very uncomfortable Eliza back at the table.
"You didn't have to do that." Alura said and I looked down at her smiling.
"Yea I did. Plus I wanted to talk to you about that." I said and she frowned.
"Is something wrong?"
"No nothing is wrong. I just wanted to talk to you about how you called me your boyfriend back on the beach." She looked away from me and I sighed.
"I didn't mean anything by it…if you are upset by it."
"I'm not upset, that's just it."
"Well, still if it makes you uneasy I'm sorry."
"Well, do you want to be my girlfriend?" I asked, she stopped and looked up at me.
"Is this a serious offer, or do you feel obligated to ask me because we had sex?"
"No I have been thinking about it for a while. I wanted to know. Do you want to be my girlfriend?" She looked at me for a long time and I couldn't help but think she might actually say no. Maybe last night was just sex. My mind raced back to the hotel yesterday afternoon. She had said that she couldn't help the way she felt about me.
"I'll be your girlfriend Ashley." She smiled up at me and I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her. Her arms worked their way around my neck and soon I had her pressed up against a store wall. As I kissed down her neck she moaned with pleasure.
"Get a room!" Someone yelled out of the window. I turned to give them the middle finger and saw it was Jinxx, Sammi, Jake, and Ella looking out the window. Jinxx had said get a room.
"If you'll drive us back to the hotel we will be glad to get a room!" I said to him and he laughed and motioned for us to get in. Ella sat on Jakes lap and Alura sat on mine.
"So you two dating now?" Jinxx asked looking in the rear view mirror. I smiled at him and he laughed.
"She knows by the way Jinxx." I said.
"Well, welcome to the family Alura." He said and Sammi turned around in the seat and smiled at her.
"Yea welcome to the family!" I could see Alura smile in the rear view mirror and it only made me smile again.
"This family wont screw you over I promise." I whispered to her. She smiled at me.
"That's good. I don't need another family like that." She giggled, "And don't think just because we are dating that I will be your little house wife." I made an outraged face.
"I thought that, that was part of the deal!"
"No Purdy boy." She murmured and gave a little tug at my hair. That just made me moan.
"I offered to drive you home so you could get a room. Don't start fucking in the car! I'm sure Ella and Jake are crammed enough back there." Jinxx said and we laughed. Alura just tugged harder on my hair. She didn't know it, but hair pulling, scratching, and biting were just major turn ons for me. I loved it and I didn't want her to stop. However, I took her hand from my hair and wrapped my arm around her waist.
"Later." I whispered in her ear which only made her giggle. I could definitely see what our relationship was going to be like for the next couple of years. Sex every night didn't bother me in the least. What about when I'm on tour? The little voice in the back of my head said and I shook it away. Touring would be hard, but I'm sure I could keep my dick in my pants. What about Alura? That little voice spoke up again. I'm sure she would be able to control herself. After all it was clear that she could. She was really tight last night and only a couple months of not having sex could do that to a woman. Just think, when I get back from touring she will be just as tight. Nice and tight. It didn't take us long to get back to the hotel and the whole way there Alura let her hand travel along my leg. She was such a tease! We ran inside and hopped into the shower. It was a really hot shower. We focused on washing off first, but after we were clean, let's just say we didn't even feel the water get cold.
