We Are Unbreakable

Kimbers POV

I looked down at Tegan sleeping in my arms. She was so beautiful. She had inherited CC's dark hair, but my blue eyes.
I sat by myself in the front living room of Ashley and Riley's house. Riley had offered up their house for Seth's twelfth birthday party, seeing I had been so stressed out with Tegan.
I placed her down in her pram and re-joined the party. As I walked back down the hall, I couldn't help but look at the newly hung frames. Riley's cover of Inked magazine with Jackson and another cover she did recently for Tattoo Art. The article was all about the stories behind each tattoo.
She was really moving up in the world and everyone could see the changes. She was happy again.
As I entered the kitchen Riley was preparing more food.
"Riley, there's heaps out there. I think you got enough" I said, stopping her from putting something else in the oven.
"Are you sure? Everyone is fed?" She questioned.
"Yes! You can always cook it later, if we're all still here. Tegan just went back to sleep."
Riley smiled as her eyes went all gooey. "She is so adorable!"
"Yeah, for now. She's gonna be trouble when she's older. I can feel it."
"What teen isn't? Don't worry, you've got a long time before you have to worry about boyfriends and stuff. Besides, Seth will look out for her. It's what big brothers are for."
"I suppose. Hey, I didn't get to ask, how did you go with the Tattoo Art photo shoot?" I asked.
"Oh, it was so amazing! I got so much free lingerie, but otherwise it went well. I have like a four page spread and then I had to explain each of my tattoos to them, was kind of exhausting" she sighed.
"What did you say about the 'Toothless' tattoo?" I asked with a giggle.
"Oh, that I wanted a pet dragon like Toothless. And that How To Train Your Dragon is one of my favourite movies."
"Fair enough. I only ask cause it's the only one that doesn't tie in with your life" I commented.
"What about you? Are you gonna get any for Tegan and Seth?"
"Maybe. I've been thinking about it, but we'll see."
"Well let me know and I'll make sure Jackson makes time for you."
"Sounds good. We better get back outside with everyone else. I can't believe Pierce The Veil actually came!" I gushed.
"Well... Yeah. I spent two months with them and I knew they were passing through here before they were going home. That and I knew if Kellin was coming, Vic would want to" she said, looking out the window at the two.
We went back outside and socialized with everyone.
I watched as Riley curled up into Ashley's arms. They had really changed. They were so much happier. Riley had new goals and was living a new dream.

Rileys POV

I looked over at all my friends and family and how things had happened.
We were all finally moving forward for everyone. Tegan was the most beautiful baby I had ever seen, Andy finally got the courage to propose to Juliet, Jinxx and Sammi had fallen pregnant and me and Ashley, we were finally happy.
The fighting stopped and we accepted our lives. They weren't perfect, but what life is?
"What are you thinking about?" Ashley asked as I looked over everyone.
"Just everyone."
"Why?"
"I don't know. Just thinking how things have turned out for us all, especially us."
"Why especially us?"
I looked at Ashley and just smiled and shook my head. "I love you so much" I said kissing his cheek.
"Hey guys!" We all turned our heads to see the Vic was holding our attention. "Thanks, umm, Seth, I'm sorry to steal the spotlight from your birthday, but I can't think of a better time to tell everyone."
"Your all good Vic. Steal away" Seth smiled.
"Thanks. Anyways, umm myself and the band have been talking about wanting to release a single soon as a lead up to a new album and we're working on a song at the moment and it's missing something" he paused and looked directly at me. "Riley, we all had the time of our lives on Warped Tour with you, so we would like you to feature on our new song" Vic announced.
I felt the biggest smile spread across my face. I was so speechless.
"Riles! This is amazing! You have to do it!" Ashley said shaking me.
I got off of Ashley's lap and just hugged Vic "Thank you" I whispered.

The next day I woke up alone in bed. It was very rare for Ashley to get up before me, especially on a Sunday.
I wondered downstairs where I could hear pots and pans clanging together. I reached the kitchen and Ashley was cooking pancakes like I normally do.
"What are you doing?"
"Making breakfast. What does it look like?" He commented.
I went behind him and wrapped my arms around his stomach and kissed his back.
"Love you" I said against him.
"I love you too" he said. "Go sit. This will be ready in a sec."
I grabbed us both a coffee and then sat in my usual spot.
Ashley brought the pile of pancakes on the table and gave me the one on top. "I have a surprise for you" he announced.
"Really?" I said raising an eyebrow.
"I've been hoping you wouldn't notice it and you haven't. I didn't want to show you until Vic announced his project with you, so here goes" he said raising his left hand to the table and holding out his ring finger.
There was writing on the inside of his finger.
"You got a new tattoo?" I said, not really looking at it.
"Read it!" He demanded.
I rolled my eyes, but grabbed his hand and looked properly.
'Riles'
I felt my eyes widen.
"Y-you g-got my n-name...?!" I stammered with excitement.
"Well, your nick name. I'm the only one who calls you Riles, so it seemed appropriate. I don't expect you to get anything for me, cause well you've already got the Fidelity tattoo."
"Ash... you didn't have to do this" I said sniffling.
"Yeah, I did. I love you so much and I'm so proud of you. We have been through so much and I know it has been tough, but after the holidays you're going to experience something new and I've got my tour for our new album. We're going to be apart for a while, so I want us to enjoy the last few weeks we have. You're just amazing and I'm so fucking lucky to have you in my life" he said, his chocolate brown eyes melting into mine.
I felt tears pooling in mine, but I smiled and wiped them away before they fell.
"I love you too. More than anything. By the way, I'm the lucky one."

Notes

I know it's not a huge dramatic ending, but I wanted to kind of wrap up everything. Everyone's happy and of course life goes on, but I can't write forever.
I hope you have all enjoyed my stories, I have had the best time writing them.
I have another story in mind... More like a prequel.... I'll keep you posted. It'll be when Riley and Andy were together. but yeah. we'll see.
