We Are Unbreakable

Rileys POV

I got home later that night, feeling extremely guilty for storming off from Ashley. The whole time Jackson was tattooing me I was silent.
Getting home to the emptiness of me and Ashley's home made me feel unsafe.
I wish Ashley was home, so I could apologise and make things right.
I'll just wait till he gets home I suppose...

CCs POV

"Wake up!" I yelled at Ashley.
It was 11 o'clock and I needed to hear an explanation from him.
"Dude, what the fuck? I'm trying to sleep off a hangover" he mumbled.
"Don't worry, you're gonna have that hangover all day if you don't talk to me right now!" I said angrily.
"Jeez CC, why you on my case? I'm just trying to sleep" he said slowly sitting up.
I handed him some aspirin and a glass of water with a look of shame.
"Thanks."
"Not that you deserve it" I muttered.
"CC, what do you want me to say? I made a mistake, but no one knows! Please, please keep it between us" he begged.
"So you don't plan on telling Riley? Ash, we were in a public club! Someone could have taken a photo of you and posted it online! I have no idea how long you were kissing that slut until I found you! What if Riley finds out? She's gonna leave you."
"She'd never leave me" he stated.
"Oh you're cocky now. I think you forget what Andy did to her."
"Yeah, but I was drunk and I didn't know the girl. Riley will understand."
"You're not even sorry! Go home Ash!" I said storming out of the room and leaving him.
I went back to my bedroom and crawled back in bed next to Kimber.
"Everything okay?" She mumbled.
"No."
"Wanna talk about it?"
"It's not my place to say. I'm sure you'll find out sooner or later."

Ashleys POV

I called a cab and left CC's house without saying goodbye. I could tell he was mad with me, I mean I'm mad with myself as well, but Riley will forgive me... Won't she?
I quietly stepped into our house, hearing no movement. Riley must still be sleeping.
I rushed upstairs to our bedroom to see Riley sprawled out on the bed. I could tell she had a restless night.
I gently touched her cheek and her eyes fluttered open.
"Hey, you're home. I waited for you, but I crashed around five" she said tiredly.
"Yeah, I ended up staying at CC's. I was trashed, I didn't want to disturb you."
"Hey, umm, I'm really sorry about yesterday. It was out of line, and next time I'll let you do your thing and I'll tell you what I'm doing."
I smiled down at her. She doesn't need to apologise.
I sat down on the bed and she placed her head in my lap.
"I don't want to let anything come between us anymore, we doing so well and yesterday was just a stumble. I say, let's write it off and start again" I said kissing her forehead.
"Sounds good" she said cuddling up to me. "Then I have something to tell you..." She said nervously.
I raised an eyebrow at her, but she continued.
"Jackson is going on this tattoo convention that goes around the country and he wants me to come with him."
"Why?" I asked.
"Cause he's been doing so much work on me he wants to continue and show off his skills. Besides I have a long list of tattoos I want done and he's gonna do them all."
"How long will you be gone for?"
"I haven't decided if I'm going yet" she said quietly.
"What? You should go! I know you want to. Do it!" I said smiling widely.
"I don't know, what about you? I don't wanna leave you here on your own."
"I've been without you before."
"Yeah, but you've never been the one home. It's worse for the one home."
"I'll be fine. I want you to go. You'll love it and imagine everyone you'll meet and you'll meet modelling agents and all. You have to go."
"I'm definitely wanting to go, but we'll see it starts in a week, so I don have to let Jackson know soon."
"Give me your phone" I demanded.
"Why?"
"Just give it to me."
Riley grabbed her phone from the other side of her and handed it to me.
I scrolled through her contacts and called Jackson.
"Hello?" Jackson said after the second ring.
"Hey Jackson, it's Ashley."
"Oh hey Ash, hows it going?"
"It's good, listen, Riley was telling me about this tattoo convention thing and how you want her to go with you."
"It would be ideal cause she has the most work needing to be done which varies in different styles."
"Yeah, so, she's going with you" I blurted out.
"Really?! Oh awesome! Thank her for me will you?"
"Of course. I'll talk to you later Jackson."
"Okay, thanks man" he said, then hung up.
"You didn't have to do that" Riley said.
"Yeah, I did. You always need that push."
She smiled up at me and blushed deeply.
"Thank you Ash" she said cutely.
"You're welcome. I love you Riles."
"Love you too Ash."
She did now... I hope it stayed that way. I was going to lose her if she found out. And I couldn't lose her.
