My Own Downfall

"Her name is Melody Renee Purdy" she said. "She has my middle name?" I asked her. "Well yeah! I have always loved your middle name and Ashley loved it too." She said and smiled.
A few hours later, Andy and I were snuggled up in his bed because we were tired. "I love you Scarlet." He whispered into my ear. "I love you too." I said softly. Then I passed out.
When I wake up, it was dark outside. Andy was still sleeping next to me. I saw how every time he breathed out of his mouth, his lip ring fluttered. It was hilarious. I got up and went downstairs. The living room was completely empty and so was the kitchen. I looked at the stove and saw it was 4:39 in the morning. Great...what was I going to do for the rest of the damn morning. I pulled out my phone and pulled up Facebook. I scrolled through my messages, and found Jeanie Malone.
"You fucking whore. I raised your ass since four years old and you just walked away from me. You are a dirty piece of nothing and you never will be. Yeah go ahead, go hang out with those gay losers. I couldn't give two piles of donkey dump! I hope you fall into the pits of hell because it is where you belong."
I read it and I laughed. Wow..crazy bitch. I read it again and started laughing and giggling hysterically. I snorted and laughed so hard I fell to the ground. I heard Andy run down the stairs and he looked at me. "Are you ok?" He asked. "Just dandy." I said and gave him a thumbs up. I got up off the floor and handed him my phone which still had the message pulled up on it. "You think this is funny? I find it rude." He said. He gave me a questioning look and handed me back my phone. "Well Andy you always did have a sweet heart." I said and sat in a chair. "Are you on drugs or something?" He asked me and sat next to me. "Nope, I'm probably just sleep deprived. I haven't been sleeping well lately. I'm not gonna tell you why though. That's my business" I said. The real reason I was not sleeping was because I was thinking of what Rhea said. About how she really thinks Andy is IN love with me. But then I think back to when he kissed Juliet, and I think it's impossible. "Andy do you love me?" I asked. "Well yeah! I have told you over and over again that I do." He said and his eyes went alert. "I mean do you REALLY love me? Like would you do anything for me?" I asked. "Of course Scarlet." He said and leaned over and kissed my cheek. "If you love me why did you kiss her..." I whispered. I looked down at my knees and waited for an answer. "I was confused. I loved you, but I kind of loved Juliet still too. But now I know exactly what kind of person she is and I would NEVER hurt you again. I promise." He said sincerely. "Promise?" "Promise." "Swear to my old cat Carl?" "Yes I swear to your old cat Carl." He said laughing. "Okay, but remember promise is a big word." I said and stood up. I went upstairs to my room and grabbed some skull print tights, and black and white striped strapless dress, and my favorite black boots. Then I went and took a shower. While I was in the shower Andy came in. (Yes I had the curtain closed, he couldn't see me.) He stood at the mirror and looked at himself. "Got any room in that shower?" He asked. "Nope, it's pretty cramped." I lied. He laughed and combed his hair. "What did you mean by promise is a big word?" He asked. I didn't say anything as I rinsed my hair. "Can you get me a towel, and exit the bathroom please?" I asked. He left and came back in with a towel and then left again.
After I got out of the shower, Rhea and Ashley came over. "Hi! I finally got to come home with mwah baby!" She said and smiled. "Say hi aunt Scarlet!" She said the to the baby. "She is a baby, no matter how hard you try the only way she'll talk is by crying." I said. I went over to the baby's carrier and she looked like she was awake, but still half asleep. I giggled and the baby looked at me. She had beautiful blue eyes, the same color as Rhea's eyes. Man I wish I had this baby's eyes, compared to my dull hazel eyes. I stood up and went and stood by Andy. "So today, you and I are going on an all day date together. Do you like steak?" He asked me. "Well of course! I'm not a shit eating vegetarian that's for sure." I said. He laughed and nodded. "Well that's good. And I'd rather you not be a vegetarian who eats shit because then I would never kiss you like this." He said and leaned down and kissed my lips. Then he went back up stairs and motioned me to follow him. When I got up the stairs, he was standing in the hallway with his hands behind his back. "I got you a gift." He said. "WHAT! Why did you get me a gift. You know I don't like people wasting money on me!" I said. "I know. But I love you and if I wanna get you a gift, then I'm gonna get you a fucking gift." He said. He pulled out a small box and opened it showing me a necklace. With a gingerbread house charm.
