Abigail's POV

So, we went to the bar. Andy bought beer for both of us and we sat down the usual table near the window. I feel really weird. Like everything's changed between us. I don't feel as close to him anymore. What the fuck is going on? I don't know. Why should i even let that bother me? I'm still me, he's still him, but... something feels different.

"Abbie are you okay?"

"...why?"

"You're zoning out."

"Nothin'. Just, thinking."

"'bout what?"

"...nothin'"

"...I'm gonna grab a smoke. Wanna come?'

"I'm fine..."

"Are you sure?"

I nodded. This is awkward. I should just ignore it. Argh... Gonna make myself drunk so i can stop thinking about it...

Andy came back in after a while.

"Hey, wanna dance?" I asked.

"Come on, princess," he smiled and held out his hand. He finally smiled. Not that old squinty face anymore.

I was a bit tipsy, but i continued drinking and dancing.

I'm finally relaxing.
