Belladonna POV

I walked "home" with Jinxx's number in my pocket. I sighed, well you can go and get him out of the way, my mind whispered. I reached Shawn's. It was a tiny bit before four. I stood there at the door, contemplating about walking in a few minutes before the given time. I sucked it up and walked in. Shawn was sitting at the table. I looked at him and then look down at my hands. "Belladonna, come sit," Shawn said. I obeyed and sat in a chair arcos from him. "How was it," he asked. I fumbled with my fingers and with forming a sentence that did not upset him. "Well, it was.....different. I...it's just a lot to take in," I whispered. I heard him chuckle, "well take it as a complement. I see that you are smart enough and able to handle something of this....scale." I felt like I was going to throw up. I didn't think of this in any way, shape or form as a complement. I nodded, unable to speak. I heard Shawn stand up, pushing the chair away from him.
