An Angel and a Demon

Elvira always felt off from her world. Her parents were wealthy and prominent society members, her father a politician and running for office, her mother a film star. She was the youngest of three girls. Her oldest sibling, a sister named Claire, and the second Madelyn, and her name was Valery, however she hated her first name and went by her middle name Elvira. The name Elvira was that of her great great grandmother. Her grandmother had chosen the middle name but her mother despised it.

Elvira didn't like the spot light she was always in with her famous parents, or how she was supposed to be a young lady and dress in nothing but blazers, sweaters, and skirts or dresses. She liked skinny jeans, and tank tops with converse. She had them, but all of them she had to go buy on her own when she was with her friends. Both of her sisters were attending Harvard, Claire majoring in premed, and Madelyn majoring in law.

Elvira was attending a local community college. Her grades weren't good enough. Her parents could buy her into the university, but even they knew it was a waste of their money. Elvira didn't even have a major. It wasn't that she wasn't smart enough, she was extremely intelligent, but hated school, and hated expending energy on homework and assignments. She was failing community college since she hadn't turned in one assignment all semester.

Her parents refused to care for her depression, but knew about her self harming. They told her to stop marking herself since the press would see it. She moved her marks, but eventually attempted suicide by hanging, and was found before she could suffocate.

Her parents made her go to a private catholic boarding school to curb her rebellion, but she hates life more there, being bullied by rich girls who know who she is. She meets Andy, another rebellious heart.
