My nightmare world
CHAPTER ONE: OUTCAST.
carolyn was nothing like most of the other girls that you would see at any normal American high school. instead of being a popular girl, with a popular boyfriend, with friends of any kind, with the latest fashion trends and the type of kid who was ignorant to how cruel the real world really was, she was the complete oppisite.
carolyn was different; a loser in the eyes of the other students. her hair was light blonde with a thick blue streak in her choppy side fringe. she had short layers at the top of her hair and the rest was long and down to her bottom rib. carolun had deep blue eyes that glistened in the sunlight. as for her clothes, she always wore band tshirts and lived and died in skinny jeans. she was the one who always stood out and was proud to do so.
she knew she was different; that she didnt fit in. but at seventeen years old, you start to learn who you are, what makes you so special. so everytime someone at school - or on the streets of her home town - gave carolyn rubbish or hate for how she 'didnt fit into society', she would simply think to herself; "okay, normal is a dial on a washing machine, nobody wants to be that!" that was her favourite quote ever! it was said by the bassist of her favourite band...it helped her through. without Ashley Purdys quotes, him in general or the rest of the band - Black Veil Brides - carolyn truly would be lost....

My music is psychic. If a chapter is named after a song, or a song is referenced, more often than not the song plays on my phone. Happened with Carolyn.
