Little Biersack

The doctor rushed Machiala into the double doors, leaving me behind, and totally lost. I walked back, following a nurse and went to the waiting room. I look at my hands and starts playing around with my fingers. Cracking my joints, and just tapping my leg. I looked at the door as it opened, and the guys rushed towards me.
"They just took her in." I said, they all nodded and stood around. Everybody gave me some sad look, and I just returned a small smile. Who knows what they're going through.
"ANDREW!" I look up just to see Hailey looking around. I stood up and Hailey had catches my motion, she runs towards me and wraps her arms around my neck, crying into my shoulder. I hugged tightly, and kissed her head as the tears finally made their at down my face. Everybody had their eyes on us, Hailey kept on crying and crying, I just held her, and let her drain herself. I buried my face in her hair and she stops sobbing. We stay like this for a while, and then we look into each other's eyes.
"How is she?" She asked, her voice small and full of fear.
"I haven't gotten anything, we just arrived." She nods and her hands were trembling. I sit her down next to me and held her hands, as she put her head on my shoulder. We just stayed this way, seeing doctors come inside the room and give bad news or good news to the other families. Everytime a bad news came along, the older woman would always fall on her feet. The doctor would have her checked, and I could sense Hailey was afraid that would happen to us. No. Machiala's been through so much, I'm not going to let a stupid prank kill her. If she dies, I would never forgive myself. Ever.
"Want anything?" I look at Jake, his eyes red from crying, and he looked drop beat tired. I'm pretty sure we all did.
"Just a coffee.." I look at Hailey, but her chest seemed to be moving slowly, she must've fallen asleep. I kiss her head and smiled.
"You got it bad" he says, before winking and making his way out the room.

The light is shining right through the small top window, and I had just finished my third cup of coffee and second cigarette. Hailey was still sleeping, but she kept on tossing and turning. The nurses had given her a small bed, since we were the last ones in the room and a blanket. They offered the guy's some, but they rejected them. Cc was dozing off and he seems like he was going to crash any time.
"Jake!" We all look at Ella as she runs towards him, wrapping her arms around his neck. He kisses her quickly. "Is everything okay?" She looks at him, checking him and then looks into his eyes.
"It's Machiala.. She got in a horrible accident." Jake says, Ella gasps and looks at me. She gives me a hug and kisses my cheek.
"I'm sorry, Andy."
"She's gonna be okay." I said, not trusting my own voice. It's been hours since I've heard anything about her. I look up and a doctor is talking to a nurse, she points my way and the doctor begins walking towards us. He looks at all of us and smiles me a smile fill with sympathy.
"Family of Machiala?" I nod, and Ella lets me go.
"Father." I said and fixed my jacket. He stays quiet and I immediately thought the worst. "No she didn't." I said, my throat tightens.
"No. Mr.Biersack, her vital signs are fine." A splash of relief is hit on my body. "She's very weak. Mild concussion in her head, slight swelling in her brain, and her legs are very weak. No broken bones, but many pieces of glass entered her body. Because of her pervious accident, her ribs are very bruised. I Insist in keeping her here for quite some time."
"Can I see her?"
"I'm sorry, but she's in a medical induced coma. We had to place her in this state, but we are not sure if she would wake up. I'm sorry sir." He pats my shoulder, nods slightly at everyone and walks away.
