Zombie Apocalypse

I didn't sleep at all. I was too worried about Ashley. CC and Jinxx came over to see me, and they took Ashley's and I's shift, hoping that I would sleep. I looked at my watch, and it read 7:15. I got Ashley up, but he couldn't walk, he was too weak. I picked him up, and walked out to the others. I sat Ashley down, and woke up the others. "Huddle." I yelled. They all came over, "Okay, so there's a choice, Ashley is really sick, he can't even walk. So we can stay here till he gets better, only sending scavengers out to get food, medicine, or things like that, or we can move on, and carry Ashley all the way. What do you guys want to do?" I asked. They looked at me for a while, and then Jinxx spoke up, "I think we should just stay. I mean if we got out there, and we got attacked by zombies, we have 1 less fighter." Everyone nodded in agreeded. "Okay, so Morgn, Drake, Bree, and I are going to go get food and medicine, we'll be back soon." I said. I went over to Ashley, and he woke up, and tried to get up, but I grabbed him, and sat him back down. "No, just stay laying down, Morgan, Drake, Bree, and I are going to go get food and medicine. I'll be back soon." I said. I kissed his cheek, and left. We all took a sword, and a pistol. We ran up the streets, and found a pharmacy. I grabbed the medicines, and the rest got the food. We packed it in the weapons bag, and we left. We made our way back up to house, and we went inside. I sat down the bag, and grabbed the medicine and two things of food, and went to find Ashley. "You're okay," Ashley said, as I sat beside him. "Yes, I'm fine, but your not, here take this," I said, handing him some Tylonol Cold & Flu. "Here, eat food." I said, handing him the food we got, which was canned fruit. We ate, and I was going to go talk to the guys, and as I got up, Ashley grabbed my waist, and said, "Can you stay here untill I fall asleep?" I sat back down, and said, "Yea, anything for you." I put my arms around him, and he sat his head on my stomach, and he fell asleep with in 5 minutes. I slowly laid his head on the pillow, and detatched his arms from my waist, and left. I walked out, and said to the guys who were fooling around, "If Ashley isn't better by tomorrow, we'll be forced to move on with one of us carrying, we can't loose another days worth of walking. It's already Tuesday, and we only have 1 day to make it 15 miles." They all nodded, and I sat with Bree, Drake, and Morgan, "So, are you guys okay, and how do you guys feel?" They all said a varation of, "Fine." There was a moment of akwardness, and I said, "Okay, who knows something, and doesn't want to tell me, and who lost rock, paper, scissors, shoot and lost?" "Bree took a pictue of you and Ashley kissing and showed us and we want to know why?" Morgan said. I looked at Bree, and said, "Bree, why didn't you tell me?" "I was afraid to." She said, unlocking her phone. She showed me the picture, and I looked how cute he was, and how cute we were. I smiled, and said, "Okay, so we are dating, but I'm not going to let it cloud my judgement." They smiled, and I heard Ashley scream. I jumped up, and grabbed my katana, and unsethed it, running with everyone else following. Ashley was asleep, and he let out another scream. I laid down my katana, and sat beside of him. "Ashley, ASHLEY." I said, shaking him. He jumped up, and he looked around, and he grabbed me, and started shaking. I put my arms around him, and he said, "Don't let them see or hear me crying." I pulled him up to face me, and hugged him. He cried silently into my shoulder. All the guys were looking at me, and I mouthed, "Night terrors, he has had them for the last 2 nights." They all nodded their heads, and walked away, but CC, he stayed to see that I was going to stay, and when I did, he left, slowly. "Hey, shhh, shhh, shhh, it'll be okay." I said, rubbing his back. He was shaking, and I pulled him to look at me. His eyes were already puffy, and bloodshot. I pulled him into a kiss, and he kissed me back. "What was wrong?" "I ... you .... we all died, by zombies eating us." He said, looking at me. I gave him a hug, and I said, "Here is my promise to you, I will keep you, me and everyone safe. We will all get to the island safe." He squeezed me tighter, and I hugged him back tighter. He pulled me into his lap, and he pulled out of our hug, and kissed me.
